Customer service is 10/10 Staff go over and beyond to help you,they are friendly and just amazing people. Shout out to German at reception and Mme Sotlang at the food section. Location is amazing It's very clean and very pleasing to the eye. The place is amazing,just breathtaking 👌👌

The buffet could do with a bit of variety at dinner,for example ,some pizzas,chips and pasta. The wifi can be a hit and miss at times. Overall this didn't ruin anything, just little improvements needed.

A beautiful place on the River, lovely rooms, Very friendly and happy staff. We enjoyed the Game Drive and River Cruise. A little disappointed that we didn`t see more game (but that`s the luck of the draw). Breakfast.. great spread ... (better if one managed to miss the large Groups.) Food in the Bar upstairs... something for everyone .. and very tasty. Weather was also perfect ... a wonderful few days at Cresta Mowana! (with a great Massage at the Spa, to top it off.

Rooms were superb and exceeded our expectations, especially with the evening turn down service. Mr Kufa, the food and beverage line manager was super friendly and personalised our dining experience. The food was super delicious curtesy of chef B and chef Colin and crew. All the staff were friendly and they went an extra mile to make our stay and our Dad's birthday memorable,l. The sunsets over the river Chobe will make you fall in love over and over, the game drives and river cruise will satisfy your dreams of experiencing wildlife live close and personal. We absolutely loved every moment of our stay.

Staff: super supportive. One of the member of our party injured, and Cresta staff immediately checked her status, then suggested us the solutions (private doctor or public hospital) then someone escorted us to the doctor then the pharmacy. Food: extremely rich breakfast, fantastic selection of foods for dinner. All the three evenings the staff congratulated to the guests who had anniversary with some folk-dance and singing improvized. The park: everywhere warthogs, some bushbucks, banded mongooses and cheeky vervets (be careful, they are stealers!) Rooms: cosy Programs: there is a travel office on site, and they organize trips to Vic Falls, Chobe Game Reserve and boat cruises on Chobe River.

Location at the river, beautiful sunset view, very friendly and committed staff, very comfortable bed, new furniture, green gardens with animals (bushbuck, warthog, monkeys, water monitor lizard)

Hotel is frequented by travel groups as well as „day trippers“ from Vic Falls for river cruise and game drive - so it can be quite busy at meal times Moving chairs from other rooms can be heard quite loudly - consider putting felt below the chairs to avoid noise

We were unlucky that there was a stay of the MP of Namibia during our stay. That meant all parking was taken by police cars. We arranged to clear and return our rented camper at the hotel parking, which was a bit problematic. Our shuttle service to the airport was strongly hindered by the slow departure of the same MP. Nevertheless the staff were very nice and arranged a way around and dropped us at the airport. The staff returned to the airport to help us when they heard that the flight to Maun had been delayed by 11 hours. They offered us to stay at the hotel, but we had meanwhile arranged alternative flight. Nevertheless it was a great gesture by the hotel staff to support us.

The restaurant was clearly focussed on buffet and could not deal with a-la-carte orders. The meal was very late and poor, compensating poor taste by quantity. Life music was poor with bad acoustics. However the breakfast was extremely good, fresh and rich. We really enjoyed the breakfast.

We had a most enjoyable stay at the beautiful hotel with the most lovely setting on the river. We went for the early morning game drive in the Chobe park, a message in the spa and a afternoon river cruise. The river cruise was for sure the highlight of our trip on a awesome double decker boat, we enjoyed cooldrinks and snacks included and saw so many animals and the most incredible sunset ever!

The breakfast buffet was amazing with views from the restaurant over the Chobe river. The activities desk was extremely helpful and organized a private birding boat trip for us with a birding guide as well as a full day drive to Chobe National Park with lunch. The sunset cruise departing directly from the hotel is also recommended. Our family room was spacious, modern and clean.

The food on the a la carte menu was hit or miss. My lunch wrap was great, but my son's pizza was not. Rather stick to the buffet at night and basics for lunch from the pool menu like wraps or burgers. Pool menu also better value for money than main restaurant menu.

No good communication from Mowana Lodge leading to the holiday dates booked as emails/platform messages were not responded to as expected in comparison to other properties of the same standard and that nearly spoilt our holiday as I kept chasing for the payment to be taken off my account.

The hotel is directly at the Chobe river, providing excellent views to the water and in the garden you can see animals all day. You don’t have to plan any activities in advance, since the hotel provides ample opportunities to float on the river or get to a safari to the national park. The rooms are spacious, excellent breakfast and dinner is served. We had a wonderful time.
