the hotel stuff, David, Jizelle, Jardeu were very helpful and kind to find any solution for our demands on buying bus tickets, Uber taxi calls, transportation to Beach park, and most important for us was to keep our sport extra luggage in the reception, very grateful! Breakfast was tasty, with a good range of the dishes, fruits. Proper mattress to sleep comfortably we appreciate. Great sea view panorama we enjoyed. It was around 10 min to get to Iracema beach alley. Beside there are some supermarkets if you need something extra to your taste. Thank you for our comfy 5-nights-stay

probably we choose next time a bit lower floor, we were on the 14th one, to get fast downward, and a bit farther from the terrace on the top from where some noise could disturb, it’s the only little nuance

I have a home in Canoa Quebrada and often need to do things in Fortaleza. I have begun staying exclusively at Hotel da Vila because it meets my needs and has proven to be the best hotel for the price. It's near enough to the beach to walk in a few minutes without being right at the beach, where there is constant activity. It has free, secure parking, great beds, awesome views, a rooftop pool with amazing views and a full bar, a great breakfast from 6 am to 10 am, 24 hr room service, reliable wifi, friendly staff, and a massage chair in the lobby. I also dig the aesthetic - kind of kitschy but sweet. There is a sweet café across the street, a great buffet across the other street, an outside patio grill less than a block away and a cool bar that often has live music on the corner.

Once when I ordered room service I waited a long time and then got a call that someone had come to my room and no one was there. I double checked that they had the right room, 1203, and she tried again, but once again didn't find my room so I had to go downstairs, only to find that she thought it was room 203. I had also specified that I wanted a glass of wine, and was actually surprised that they served wine by the glass, but when I went downstairs I saw that they were going to bring me (and charge me for) a whole bottle of wine. So there were some communication issues and it was a bit frustrating. I also had to go downstairs to get my key re-magnetized which is annoying.

I like that it’s tall (I like the view from the upper floors), located close to the beach and many resources but not in the center of the tourist hustle, it’s clean, well staffed, good breakfast, good wifi, I like the rooftop area and pool and sometimes work up there. Oh and onsite parking!

Nice hotel with only few things to criticize. The breakfast was the richest on our brazil travel with a wide selection of cakes, toasts, fresh fruits and fresh juices. The room was rather small but clean and the shower had warm water (not standard in brazil). Moreover, for South America the area and the rooms are quite quiet. The staff was super kind and helpful. For example they helped me to reserve a restaurant table once, when I didn't have a brazilian phone number. I can definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay or an layover in Fortaleza. Note that it's like 15-20min walk to the beach. Safety is definitely a general concern in Fortaleza with the area of the hotel being average.

Great views. Rooms are spacious and well designed. Fresh air circulates around the room. The view is great to the mountains. The feeling is very cozy and warming. overall, it was great location.

The hotels is very empty from Tuesday to Thursday. Most of the people visit for the weekend. Breakfast was good during the weekend, but others day was reduced due to low occupancy. Personnel was also reduced to one person during the night from Monday to Thursday. Felt a bit insecure due to the empty facilities at night. Food was OK.

Despite simple, Hotel has an excellent Infrastructure, that works either in higher occupancy. Good breakfast with variety of fruits and local foods.

Nothing important, because the proposal was honest. Maybe, the guests could be oriented about the dangerous places in the neighborhood.

The breakfast was good, so was the roof space. Parking without additional charge, very friendly staff.

I had higher expectations regarding cleanliness as per what I had seen in reviews, but the pool area was very dirty with cigarettes on the floor, and the rooms could have done much better too.

Great hotel with incredible value for money. The sunset in the rooftop pool with its amazing view is one of a kind!

Could be just a bit cleaner. It was recognizable that they did not clean under the bed for a while.

The room service, and breakfast, not organised and not much option ( juice fruits very very Pooh, no tasty) the sanduíche in the room very very bad.
