The breakfast options were good and the staff spoke English, which can be very helpful. The rooms are pretty comfortable and the receptionists are friendly and willing to accommodate your needs.

The check-in process was just too long, which makes no sense when the addresses are incomplete and wrong anyways. We had two different reservations there and upon return, the check-in was just as long, again. It shouldn't stop you from getting there, but when you arrive with a group that has been on the road for many hours and most of them were sick, it can be difficult.

Nice hotel in the best area from Fortaleza. You have everything close by: a lot of restaurants, supermarket, bakery and a pharmacy with walk distance. The breakfast was amazing, specially the tapiocas and omelettes. The employees were very gentle and friendly. The beach in front of the hotel is not suitable for small children because it is too deep, therefore is the swimming pool perfect when you don’t want to go on a day trip to the beautiful beaches outside the city.

I travel with my son to fortaleza for a wedding, the hotel was recommended by the weeding planner. We could not be happier. We truly enjoyed our stay at Mareiro, very good location, friendly staff, amazing breakfast offerings, the restaurant is a very good value, everything we ordered was well prepared and delicious, and prices are very reasonable. Over all a excellent experience, we'll definitely be back.

Very good hotel, a bit pricey but not to bad for what they offer. Very good location, great variety of food for breakfast, brilliant staff at the reception and porter. Apart from only one person who made my check out who wasn’t really happy to be there or didn’t like me was the let down but apart from that one person every other one was really nice and help full! Recommend place to stay at

Overall, the hotel was great. The rooms were nice, mattresses were comfortable, and the pool area was great. The staff at the front desk and the bell staff were great. Always friendly and willing to help. Those who did not speak English were skilled at using a translator app to help us. The beach across the street is amazing and you have plenty of options for food in the area.

The beds only had one sheet to cover you (no comforter, duvet, etc..). I was fine, but one of my friends was looking for something more to cover up with. The food was good (not great, but certainly acceptable). The wait staff in the restaurant, the bar, and pool bar was fairly poor. We had multiple waits trying to get drinks. After being served, in one week, we only ever had one person come back to check on us. The floor I was one was being re-wallpapered/painted. While it wasn't really a bother, it was just sort of depressing to get off the elevator and see walls stripped down to nothing.

The hotel is amazing and the staff is super helpful as I needed to print a document they got it done so fast and when it started raining they gave me a huge umbrella that’s helped a lot. Also the location is the best right by the main Beira mar spot so it was very convenient to be there!! Definitely going back there!!!

Hotel location is great and room size was very good. Condition of facilities is pretty dated and needs improvement. Curtains barely close. Bathroom fixtures are dated and splash. Just not up to the standard of a hotel like this

I suggest that the hotel install a door lock at the bathroom door. The room lights are insufficient it is too dark and needs an upgrade in light spots

Great pool + poolbar. Nice place to relax. Beautiful room, nice view on the pool. Excellent breakfast, lots of options (a bit crowded though). Very close to the beach.
