The pousada is located on Praia de Palmas which is a really quiet option on Ilha Grande. Bruna and all the people working in the pousada are all so nice and will do their best to help you. The room was the right size for 1 person, and has everything you need. The breakfast is really good and you can enjoy the view on the beach from there. The really long beach has a restaurant and Abraao is 1h walk via the trail, and the beautiful beach of Lopes mendes is also reachable by the trail. Please keep in mind that this location is mainly to relax (as wifi and electricity is limited and available only from 5:30pm to 8am)

Unfortunately there are not cheap options to reach the pousada : either by private boat from Conceiçao, or by the taxi-boat from abraao (be careful of the price of these taxi-boat). You can also do the 1h trail from Abraao (not practical if you have big suitcases...)

Stunning room views, friendly staff, and the option to easily coordinate with the owner for boat bookings made the stay even better.

Beautiful room with stunning views and friendly staff, but there are some drawbacks to consider. Wi-Fi reception in the top room is very poor, and the window and door lack proper security, though the area feels safe. Electricity is only available from 8 PM to 5 AM, which might not be an issue if you're focused on outdoor activities.

I Understand it’s off grid generator-powered which is part of the experience and can be navigated by charging etc power banks at night. However, when on, the wi-fi was of very low quality. A starlink or stable satellite would be great. Other places on that remote beach had a perfectly stable wifi…

The stuff is so lovely and welcoming!! Everything is done with so much care, the beds are freshly made with towels each night and the breakfast is good! The room especially is a experience to remember! Beautiful way to wake up, high up and view on the bay. Thank you for making us feel comfortable.

It is a very nice place overlooking a beautiful, calm bay. We hiked one day to the Lopes Mendes Beach which is beautiful, and spent the other day just chilling at the Palmas beach. The Pousada is simple- most of the day there is no energy and no internet. The rooms are simple but nice. The winner of this place ist the location overlooking the bay.

The Pousada is facing north- which means in the southern hemisphere full sun, nearly the entire day. We visited during wintertime, thus it was not so hot and we enjoyed the sun at the balcony before sunset. I'm not sure how it is during the hot summermonths. Right now, there is no protection against mosquitos. As it was winter there were few, but some mosquitonetting in the windows or above the bed would be nice.

The welcoming atmosphere from the staff and the location were just mind blowing!

Not that you needed because with the nature scenery there is no need to be connected but the wifi could be stronger.

Amazing location right on the beach with a couple of restaurants 5 mins walk away. The team there were so helpful with water taxis and days out. Our room was the best we stayed in for the whole holiday in Brazil and I would recommend this to anyone.

Friendly wonderful staff. Amazing view and super quiet area, can't fault the accommodation. Everyone working around the beach area was incredibly welcoming and offered suggestions on things to do. Fantastic stay and wish we could have stayed longer.
