Very modern and comfortable hotel, located in front of the Barra beach (which is very nice), with only a road to cross. Huge TV screen in the room. Large standard room, with nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast buffet, which is quite varied. I could barely sample everything in a week. Very good coffee. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. For example, they fixed my suitcase in five minutes for free (it had been damaged during the flight).

Air conditioning is a bit too strong. It may not even be required during winter. it can be switched off in the rooms but they have it in the breakfast room. Therefore, I always had breakfast on the terrace outside where you can also watch the surfers ...

This property was simply incredible, and the staff was superb. To start off, our room was upgraded to a Seaview, and we were informed at check in that on the day of check out, we could request a late check out for 2 pm. The room itself was wonderful...clean with some thoughtful features. The rooftop pool was not operational. However, the infinity pool on the third floor was operational, and the property has a fitness center that was not noted on booking.com, a wonderful perk. The breakfast was excellent with lots of options, including an omelet bar. Freshly baked breads, lots of fruits, and numerous beverage options. The property and its staff really do uphold 5 star standards. The location is beachfront with multiple restaurants within 100 ft of the property. We would stay here each and every time we are in Rio, the hotel is exceptional.

We loved the location, in Barra Beach. It also had a very nice restaurant/bar right across the street. Breakfast was very good. Although cracked pool floor glass was supposed to be safe (staff said they had it checked), it did not provide enough reassurance for parents. We did not let our kids get in, which was a shame. Visually, it looks scary. They should have it replaced.

Although it is not the property’s fault, the nearest traffic light to cross to the beach did not work properly (buttons to stop traffic dod not work). This is a problem when traveling with young kids, it is stressful to cross to the beach. In addition, the hotel could invest in more (only 2 available, we are a family of 4) and also better (poor conditions) bicycles. We would have liked to be able to enjoy the bicycle path.

Staff and facilities were good. Breakfast time was very good and the food was amazing. The view is stunning and very good located.

First room provided was not great, seemed like it was not cleaned well enough plus the shower was leaking water to the room floor. However I spoke to reception and they changed my room straight away and second room was much better!

The hotel offers a very good breakfast and is based close the beach at a safe place. The staff is very friendly.

The hotel is not a 5 star ones compared to the German standard. The rooms need an renovation. We were based at the 4th floor where a huge water damaged must have taken place. It smelled ugly. The hotel pool and the pool area are small.

Beautiful location giving great access to Rio and Barra beach’s. Quality of the staff were great and were able to assist with all couple of problems found on the room

Air conditioners can be noisy and initial sheet and towel quality were worse for wear - but these minor issues were addressed once brought up with staff.
