This hotel really surprised me—in a good way! The place is super modern and actually looks like the pictures (for once). Everything was well taken care of, from the lobby all the way to the pool, which felt like a little slice of vacation heaven. The location? Perfect. Super clean area, right in the middle of great restaurants and shops. Basically, you can walk everywhere and still feel fancy doing it. Staff was friendly and clearly knew what they were doing—no awkward “let me check with my manager” moments. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom made me want to remodel mine at home. Highly recommend if you want a stay that’s easy, comfortable, and actually enjoyable. Would totally go back!

The hotel has a lot going for it, but a few things definitely stood out—in the not-so-great way. First, the elevators were being renovated during my stay, which meant noise, longer waits, and some extra cardio I didn’t ask for. The air conditioning worked, thankfully, but it felt like an older unit—definitely not the quiet, modern kind. It got the job done, just with a bit more personality (read: noise) than I’d like. And the windows weren’t airtight, which is a problem when the wind outside sounds like it’s auditioning for a horror movie. The noise was pretty constant and made it hard to fully relax, especially at night. Great hotel in many ways, but these things made the stay less smooth than it could’ve been.

Very comfortable bed and great view thanks to an upgrade. The pool is very long which is good for laps. Breakfast is good and you can have customized eggs.

No direct access to the beach! We stayed 2 days prior and asked the staff to keep our data and keep us signed in for our second stay and to stop the constant messaging we had already received the first time. It continued relentlessly and was very annoying. When we came back only 2 days later, they pretended not to know us because the staff kept changing all the time. Booking should be able to stop the automatic annoying messaging. We had plumbing issues and the first plumber didn't take it seriously so when we came back from dinner we had to call again very late. Nice efficient second plumber but I would rather not have to call once let alone twice. Rooms need to be checked before being rented.

The hotel is situated next to the beach. There is no street between the hotel and the beach. The location is very quiet. The very large room is well equipped. The room has a balcony with two chairs and a table. From there you have a wonderful view. Large bathroom with good shower and good quality towels. Very comfortable bed with good quality bed linen and pillows. Good aircon. Good lightning. Excellent breakfast buffet with a huge variety of food, fruits, juices and specialities served in a nice room with a view to the sea. Friendly and helpful staff. Strong WiFi everywhere in the hotel. The hotel is excellent value for money Next time in São Luis we will definitely stay there again.

The drain in the toilet floor has a tendency to flow back up so in the morning we would find weird and smelly debris from the pipes on the floor which really shouldn’t happen for a 5 star hotel. Also there is no kettle or glasses in the room for even just a drink of water. Pretty unacceptable for a 5 star hotel in a country where you can’t drink the tap water.

I loved the view and the room upkeeping on a daily basis. Overall the housekeeping, the restaurant, the quality of food was amazing.

I would love to see the staff explain the hotel policy in English for us who dont speak Portuguese. If the staff does not speak atleast they can have a note that explains it all as I stayed for almost 2 full weeks and ended up paying a big amount for water which the hotel qualifies to be a part of their mini bar consumption. I was given no chance other than pay and only then can check-out by the front desk manager. The restaurant can add few vegetarian options as well which I found to be lacking in their breakfast or the lunch/dinner buffet.

The staff made a mistake at my check-in and rudely insisted i would have the trouble to pack and move to another room the following morning. The hotel was super full , and staff didn't seem to be able to handle such a high capacity. Elevators are not integrated and take forever . And location is terrible for walking. You can barely get to the beach ,and it is very hard to walk to any restaurant nearby

The rooms and hotel are clean, the service is friendly and the food is pretty good.

The hotel is listed as a 5-star hotel, but it is a 4-star hotel. Rooms do not have coffee or tea, and room service was very Also, the hotel and rooms are a bit without personality. It is on the beach, but the wind at that location is always very, very strong and people don't use the beach, it seems.

The staff was very nice, giving us an unexpected upgrade with balcony over the ocean. The pool is long, perfect for laps. Breakfast is decent with lots of fresh fruits and eggs to order.

I chose this hotel because it was on the beach. I never imagined that it didn't have access on the beach like other properties nearby. The way to reach the beach by foot is muddy and far, with lots of trash.

The view from the room to the ocean is very nice, and the staff also very kind.

We had a little bit of hard time with the elevators (some times it took us 20 mins to get to the lobby), also the place for get out of the cars is very messy, many times we had to walked down to reach out the taxi drivers due to other cars blocking the road to the other guess.

The location: very safe to walk around, all taxi drivers knew well the address (and there is always a taxi stationed nearby, we travelled most times with Mr Auri, very attentive and careful driver), right at the seafront (but quite difficult to reach the beach), walking distance to excellent restaurants, delicatessen, pharmacy, coconut stand... The breakfast: great variaty and quality. The regional food was amazing. Just the breakfast make your stay worthy The swimming pool: we regretted not using it more. Good for chilling and for a few laps The staff: although very busy, always kind and efficient. Flávio Augusto upgraded us to a seaview room that was a really nice treat after travelling for 17h. The toiletries: lovely scents, great quality And they our suitcases when we went to Lençóis for a week
