The Pousada is spectacular and surrounded by greenery and a few steps from the sea. The beach is beautiful, with palm trees and clean sand it looks like paradise. Tahisse is a wonderful queen of the home , she was very kind to us and gave us lots of information on the itineraries to follow! Always present and kind to our every need. The house was beautiful, very large with a terrace and hammock and even a whirlpool. Top breakfast with tapioca desserts. Thank you Thaisse we will be back soon to see you, you live in a paradise and you are splendid.

Modern, clean, peaceful environment. The hostess was amazing and very friendly. She has a great positive vibe and a permanent smile that make you smile too :). Wonderful pet friendly environment. 2 minutes walking to a really nice beach and 10 minutes by car to the center. if you want to disconnect and rest, this is the place. ahh, also amazing breakfast!!

Everything was great! The location, the facilities and the staff were impeccable. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Awesome place, very quite location with the sound of the beach nearby. Breakfast was great, and the manager Thaiz made our stay extra special. I would recommend to anyone visiting Trancoso.

Friendly people and very helpful

There was so much to like, it it is hard to choose where to start. I suppose the biggest thing we liked was the exceptional personal attention we received from the proprietor, Thais. She made us feel like we were friends staying in her home from start to finish. She was attentive and helpful to all our needs. For example, she quickly learned my preferences as an American for breakfast and then proactively addressed them each morning. (Her breakfasts are wonderful, BTW.) The other thing at the top of my list is the pousada itself--which is like an oasis away from the rest of the world. Inside the walls of the pousada it was totally tranquil. Just the sounds of nature to enjoy on the spacious grounds where we were free to wander and find a quiet spot to relax. And to occasionally spot the mascot of the place, Didi, a sloth who hangs out in the trees around the property. Then there is the location, which is great. From the pousada it is only a short walk to a gorgeous, quiet beach (Praia dos Nativos) with a terrific restaurant for lunch. Getting into the center of Trancoso for restaurants and shopping is only a few minutes drive. Last but not least were Nahla and Maggie, the owner's two boxers who live there. Both are extremely sweet and friendly dogs who do their part as "co-owners" to make guests feel welcome.

It is tough to think of anything that the owner could have done better. One thing to point out is that getting to the pousada requires a drive for maybe 3 kilometers on a dirt road. Since it rained some while we were there , the road was in rough shape some of the time. We didn't have any problems in our sedan, but it was a really bumpy ride. Next time I will rent an SUV or something else that is not as close to the ground.

Wow, I just had the best time with my family on this hotel. The place is immaculate, you can see how much the staff and owner care about the guests. I rented 3 rooms for my family , the communication with the host was great. The rooms were cleaned, comfortable and smelled amazing. The fridge was stocked with a cold brew everyday. The free breakfast was something to look forward every day. We could order eggs, tapioca and whatever cake and juice we wanted. Every day, we explored a new juice flavor . I felt we had our own concierge. The host, Thais, can help you with every trip you need to book, from the airport transfer to scheduling a Covid test for our return to the US. All COVID measures were observed. I felt safe at all times . Thaís, was so amazing, that she drove us to take the test. I will be returning soon to this hotel. Sleeping with the sound of waves was exactly what I needed
