Location away from noise of bars but only 10 min walk to restuarants etc. Chilling in hammock on balcony. Watching the monkeys. Beach cleaned daily by staff. Good food in restuarant

Staff should be more forceful against non guests using sunbeds. Ok if they spend in restuarant but one group never did during my stay. Room needs refresh of varnish and better lighting.

We loved our stay in our treehouse cabin set back off what was one of the nicest beaches we have ever been to! The location was incredible and the food at the restaurant was good and we could add it to a tab on our room. We had to ask at reception every day for our room to be cleaned (as it gets very sandy very quickly) and this is always a bit awkward to have to ask. There was no hair dryer in the room and I asked at the reception but told the hotel didn’t have one, despite having a kettle in the room which we did not use. A mirror in the main room and a chair would be great additions. We lost water in our bathroom for about 12 hours (overnight) but it came back just before we were about to ask.

Absolutely amazing bungalows on the edge of the jungle, away from the busier village with a beautiful beach that you have only to yourself. Very helpful staff, very good breakfast and if necessary a wide range of lunches and dinners. We liked the monkeys the most, they kept us company for the whole week of our stay, they were not aggressive just very curious and you need to watch your personal belongings, because the monkeys are interested in everything.

The island's industrialization is developing, airports and modern hotels are being built.

I think this is probably the best location on the beach for accomodation. Its at the far end, so the water is crystal clear, its a 10 minute awl to the main area, but I wouldn't want to stay around there, a bit too built up with a few stagnant water smells. White beach bungalows was aways from that, lovely sand beach, amazing morning swims, and the bungalows on the water front were adorable and oozing charm. The manager Nunu was super helpful and we had a few lovely days there.

Location is brilliant - on the beach, fairly quiet but only 5 -10 minutes walk along the beach to the restaurants and bars. Getting picked up by boat from the ferry was really helpful as one of our party had a suitcase - difficult to drag over sand! Food in the restaurant is fairly good quality and value. Staff were friendly and helpful.

As other reviews say, the bungalows need some maintenance! The air con and mosquito nets were good, but the lighting in ours was too dim to read by. We were in two bungalows up steep and slightly hazardous stairs, although most are only a few steps up from the beach. Shower rooms were functional but basic. It’s a shame as it wouldn’t take much to make this a 9 or 9.5. Note the end of March is no longer high season so there were generally fewer activities available, although that didn’t matter to us.

For what you pay you couldn’t get a much better place to stay right on the beach. It was clean and comfortable, aircon, shower, hot water, wifi everything worked and the beach is just stunning. Also the restaurant was one of the best spots we ate on the island, food was fresh and delicious. Lastly it is on the best spot on the beach, tucked away at the end so nice and quiet but also so close to all the bars etc and less rubbish than elsewhere along the beach.

There are some gaps in the floor boards in the room so it can let in some insects but there’s mosquito nets on the beds and as someone who gets attacked by bugs I was perfectly fine.

Our very lovely hut was right on the beach with beautiful sea views. Lying on a hammock watching the sunset was amazing. Lots of glorious sunshine despite it being the rainy season. Clean white sands & turquoise waters. Fabulous restaurants nearby & loads of stuff to do (bio luminous plankton sunset & snorkelling & fishing tour with Three Brothers great).

Not really any vegetarian options and the food wasn’t great. Loads of great restaurants nearby though including Treetop Bungalows next door & The Reggae club.

We’ve had the most wonderful time at white beach bungalows in Koh Rong. It’s a pity that we had already booked our stay at Koh Rong Sanloem, otherwise we would have stayed longer. The host is very helpful. Very reactive when you ask a question online but also on the sport from early in the morning till 4. He helps you to get you a driver to help you with your luggage to go back to the pier. The food is and drinks are very good. For those who are wondering ; no sand fleas here only mosquitos but the mosquito nets are already prepared above the bed so you can sleep in peace. The view from our room and our front porch was so calming. Especially from our hammock slowly rocking on the sound of the waves. We loved it!

I had an excellent experience at this accommodation and wished I could of stayed for longer. The accommodation is run by a lovely family who are so friendly and will help you with anything you need. The facilities and food are fantastic. The bungalows are gorgeous inside and I can recommend getting one on the beach front. The beach is so so quiet and is perfect for people wanting a quiet getaway. Would love to come back!

Perfect location - at the end of the beach so feel more quite and beautiful views are uninterrupted but still very close walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants on the beach and the village. Private balcony with chairs table and hammock great for relaxing and easy to dip in the sea. Restaurant and bar would bring food and drinks straight to bungalow if requested. Also highly recommend khongs pizza a few minute walk down the beach, and Adam adventure for a boat trip.

Power is off from 11am-1pm and 4:30-5:30pm to let the generator cool down. I think most places on the island are similar, didn’t bother us.
