The rooms were amazing. Unfortunately, the TV did not work in the original room I had reserved. After trying to rectify the problem, they quickly moved us to the turret room across the hall. A massive upgrade. Both rooms were amazing! The main lady that owns the place was wonderful! So kind, polite and ultra helpful. We chose to have the breakfast. It was delightful! Two slices of french toast stuffed with blueberries/raspberries/blackberries. Then an array of fresh fruit and whip cream circled the plate. Hot maple syrup was served on the side. Delicious! Fresh squeezed OJ and a plethora of coffee and tea choices were available. Super value for the price. Definitely coming back. Wonderful place for a mini-getaway.

Not an issue for us....but for some folks the stairs up to the rooms may have been an issue. It is an older house with lots of rooms. The stairs up are steep and narrow, as well as the back exit stairs are rather steep. We managed quite fine, others may not.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The Inn was full of character with a friendly crowd. I paid extra for breakfast and boy was I happy about this, even though it already came with unlimited coffee and snacks! I had my own terrace and separate entrance to my room - with an amazing bathroom with all the toiletries I needed, from cotton buds, to clean towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner etc. I well equipped BnB - would gladly stay again.

Perfect Location, right downtown Drumheller, easy to find & get to. The actual Inn bldg & grounds were very nice. Room was very nice, bathroom & really awesome shower were newly-renovated and very clean. The bed, sheets and pillows were clean & very comfortable. The covered deck/patio, yard, dino statues, etc. were really nice/neat/cool. I only had a very brief one-night stay here (attended Blue Rodeo concert Sunday night August 11 at the Amphitheatre) and did not have time to enjoy the entire property, but I will definitely stay here again & hope to use and enjoy the Inn/yard/patio alot more. I understand that the Inn was very recently purchased and is under new mgmt, and the new owners/staff were very friendly & seemed very eager to improve things and make guests' stay even more better.

Minor issue: There was an unpleasant odour when walking through the upstairs hallway. I realize the Inn is very old so it may just be an "old bldg smell". Also, I had trouble turning on & watching the TV, with the 2 remotes, etc. Maybe it might be useful to guests to provide some instructions on how to turn on the TV & to access the signal & guide, etc. I forgot to mention this to mgmt at the reception desk when I checked out.

I especially appreciated the personal touch of the owners who recommended restaurants that were off the beaten track but simply excellent. The owners of the Heartwood Inn, were willing to keep my cream-sauced leftovers in their fridge until I was ready to drive home which meant I could use them. The room and bathroom were really clean and comfortable and I appreciated my room's access off the parking lot combined with an excellent security system. The wifi was strong.

The only negative for me was that the bed was really, really high and I hadn't to vault in. I couldn't see a stepstool (and I didn't ask if there was one). Once in, the bed and pillows were really comfortable.

This place was a great find. The room was clean, nicely furnished and a good size. The staff were all fantastic, I wish I could have stayed longer than just 1 night. While breakfast is not included, it was delicious and well worth the extra cost (which wasn't too much considering how good it was). Overall I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Drumheller, you really can't go wrong with it.

Heartwood is run by a husband and wife duo that go above and beyond to ensure a happy visit to the town of Drumheller. The accommodations were surprisingly plush with a variety of small touches to make us feel comfortable. Teas, coffees, snacks etc.

That we could only stay one day.

I loved the house, the staff. The room was very clean and felt comfortable to be in. The breakfast I ordered was outstanding, good bang for your buck ❤️

The door to my room is on the outside and unfortunately it is an older door with no proper seal around it. So I found a lot of spiders, box elder bugs, months etc would make their way in. These are new owners and I am sure they will be fixing these minor issues sooner than later.

The friendly welcome (great customer service!), fresh muffins, fruit and tea and coffee, being able to access the car directly from the back door of our room without having to go through the inn, a peaceful night's sleep

A very minor point but as someone with arthritic knees I am finding it harder to climb in and out of baths without assistance, but as I travelled with a partner this was not a problem

Oh I loved everything about the stay! Has everything we ever needed! The exterior is so beautifully decorated too!

Really appreciate the welcome snacks but when it was left out as we didnt immediately stay indoors as soon as we got the keys, we got back to ants on them. So on hindsight we should have left them in the fridge. Otherwise, place was spotless and well equipped!

The people were kind and explained everything we needed when we arrived. The room was nice with a unique layout. The shower was great.

Pillows were comfortable but a big thin for our preference. That was minor though.
