This is a basic motel offering rooms similar to what Motel 6 used to offer. But this is matched by the lower price. The location is perfect for visiting the Wells Gray Park, and close to good restaurants. The staff were quite cheerful and helpful. There is a large and well-provisioned grocery store nearby.

The breakfast place nearby proved to be quite slow in providing us with breakfast. On the second day, we secured breakfast from the grocery store instead (they open at 8am).

The night I came in, the desk clerk was efficient and courteous and even offered to help me if I needed anything. The room was spacious and clean and I was glad to have a grab bar in the tub. As well as the grab bar, the tub was a good level for me to get into( many motel tubs have too high a tub and as I have balance issues it can be hard) When I returned my key in the morning I thanked them again and both wished me safe travels and welcomed me to visit again.

We stayed here as a family of three and this accommodation was perfect for our overnight stop en route from Vancouver to the Rockies. The two queen sized beds were very comfortable indeed, the coffee machine microwave and fridge very welcome and the shower was hot. The manager was friendly and welcoming and in the morning kept us informed of a local power cut which lasted only an hour. Typical motel accommodation with rooms accessed from outside. Nothing fancy, but everything we needed. Great accomodation.

The motel was clean and the staff was awesome. They were very friendly and considerate. There was a power outage (not their fault) and the staff contacted us to explain why. Also, we left our tablet behind and they let us asap. They kept it until we returned back that way again. The beds were very comfortable.

The motel is older and shows some wear and tear, but it is clean.

Great place to stop for the night while travelling. Comfortable bed, good shower, small fridge. Quiet.

I couldn’t figure out how to open the window. I’m sure there was a way but was too tired to spend the time it. Room a bit outdated but clean and good value for the money.

The location was conveniently located at the entrance of Wells Gray park. It was easy to find and do day trips to the park. Staff were super friendly and helpful. There was a strip mall across the street with a grocery store, fast food, restaurant options, and other stores. It was very quiet and we got a good night’s rest after a day of hiking.

The management is very friendly and accommodating. Very good people. And the room was clean and well-maintained, especially for a place that's not so new anymore. Great value for your money!

I didn't like that there's no included breakfast, but it's a motel, and the price was good. There are options a stone's throw away to have breakfast at though.

The Ace Western motel is conveniently located near to the route leading into Wells Gray Provincial Park. It is also within walking distance of a supermarket, pharmacy and diners. The price is very competitive for the area.

To be fair the motel was everything we expected. Our visit was marred by a general power outage when we arrived until about 8pm which closed all of the shops and diners except one with a wood grill. However the gas station east of town had a pizzeria which were both open.

LOVE this place! And love the family running the place. Tiny, older, but spectacularly clean and comfortable. Parking right in front of the door, so I feel totally comfortable leaving my 5-6 dogs in the van overnight. Have been here twice now, and will be staying here whenever I'm traveling through!

Very comfortable stay with A/C and blackout curtains. Room was quite spacious with adequate sized fridge, table to prep lunch items, and a comfy bed. Public tennis courts were next door which we used. Tim Horton s was a brief walk away for morning coffee.
