We only stayed at Wells Gray Inn for one night, just a quick pit stop between Jasper and Pemberton but it genuinely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. The front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping staff were all incredibly kind, warm, and professional. You can really feel the care they put into running this place. The room itself is basic, nothing fancy, no in-room microwave or extras, but it was spotlessly clean, well-kept, and smelled great. The bed was comfy, and the heating and cooling worked perfectly, which made for a restful night. What’s nice is that even though the room is simple, there’s a shared microwave, ice machine, and vending machines just down the hall, which was super convenient. One thing we didn’t expect: the free breakfast. It was hearty, tasty, and freshly prepared at their on-site restaurant, such a lovely touch, especially for a smaller inn. At first, we thought this would just be a typical roadside stay, a place to crash for the night on a long drive. But now we honestly think Wells Gray Inn is more than that. It’s clean inside and out, has everything you might need for a comfortable stay, and the vibe is genuinely welcoming. We could easily see ourselves staying here for more than just one night.

Spacious room with patio overlooking garden courtyard. Adjacent to back gate so easy access with pet. On site restaurant with interesting menu. The Tuna poke rice bowl was delicious. On site bar serving same menu when the restaurant was closed on our second night. Good breakfast cooked to order. Very close to Wells Grey Park with its many trails and waterfalls. Spat Falls are close to park entrance and spectacular. Hotel is about 1km along from small shopping mall with supermarket.

No microwave in room. Small shared one not close to room.

Very friendly front desk staff. Stayed in pet-friendly room 22, located on back side facing large back parking lot - no highway noise. Beds are comfortable, room was very clean. Breakfast and restaurant staff were great! Great value for the 3 of us plus pet to stay an overnight.

Only little suggestion would be to implement a larger (longer) floor mat runner at the door to the outside, and some additional sturdy wall hooks to hang towels somewhere.

We stayed in the family room and everything was perfect. There was 3 adults and a toddler and we each had our own bed and lots of space to move about. There was a pool table in the room and a large sectional couch in front of the TV. Everything was clean and smelling good, and nicely air conditioned when we walked in. The room was quiet, we didn’t hear any other guests or the highway.

Wish there was a pool for the kids and a kitchenette in the family room so we could do our own cooking.

Your website mentioned a hot tub / jacuzzi. I booked this accommodation. Based on this as my husband and I both have problems with our backs. When we checked on and enquired we were informed there wasnt any available. This should have been updated on you website.

Spacious king bed room with very comfortable bed and linens! Clean with 2 chairs (I hate to sit on the bed when we only get one chair). three poofy large pillows, sofa bed, modern bathroom with deep tub. Luggage rack and mini fridge with no freezer (it was quiet and kept the ice frozen) Open, courtyard interior patio with well flowered planters, picnic tables and BBQ. Quiet, Clean with lots of parking. Attached restaurant, bar and grill (food was good and beer was cold, service was great). also convenience store attached. Would stay again.

I must confess I had my trepidations, but I'm happy to say we had a wonderful stay at Wells Gray Inn. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was well stocked with a good shower. I think I read/heard there is new management, if that's the case they're doing a great job turning the place around. Keep up the good work! Enjoyed a really good meal in the bar area and I wish could put a name to the waitress (blonde girl), but she was really nice and helpful as well as great fun to chat too.

The property is well located near the highway. Our room was at the back and quieter as a result. It has a good, well patronized restaurant, and a well patronized bar. It was clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom clean and updated. Fridge with a freezing compartment

The property is older. The furniture that there was is old and see it’s better days except for the bed. No microwave. Shower water ran Hot and Cold depending on who else was using the water at the time. Few plugs available to charge electronics.

Easy to find location With restaurant Liquor shop inside the building

The hotel staff strictly refused to let me check in a little bit earlier ( I arrived around 2:30 PM). Looking at the few cars parked around the hotel I knew that there were rooms vacant, but the guy at the reception just wanted to play being "correct".

The room was very, very large and well placed for our large family. The kids could literally run around and it was totally fine. The room is distanced a bit from other rooms so neighbours don't hear quite as much sound. We are a family of 7 and easily had room to all sleep comfortably.

The facilities are a bit older but there was nothing wrong with anything. Everything was clean and totally functional. The air conditioning could have been a bit stronger but it did work.
