The penthouse suite was large and had a beautiful view and we enjoyed both balconies. The room stayed nice and cool during the heatwave. The outdoor pool was a nice bonus we enjoyed before leaving Sunday morning.

The room rate was extremely high. The breakfast was underwhelming. Not many options and didn’t seem very fresh. It was tough to go to sleep early or try and sleep late as even with all blackout drapes drawn there was still a lot of light let in around the window edges.

We stayed in Coquitlam as we were attending at AC/DC concert in Vancouver. We chose this location because it was close to the Sky Train. The room was very reasonably priced and exceeded expectations. The room was a lot bigger than we had expected and the staff were even kind enough to throw in a free breakfast after hitting us with an $18/day parking fee. The bed was super comfortable! Would stay here again for sure!

Overall the hotel was great, comfortable beds, and plenty of space for our entire family. The heated outdoor pool and hot tub were a pleasant surprise.

The rooms are definitely aging poorly. We had a fairly inexpensive special but both reading lamps and usb chargers in the headboard were broken. The faucets in the bathroom were loose and poorly installed, and the tiles would do well with a serious scrubbing. The curtains were also hard to close as the runners/guides were bent through years of use.

There are several dining options both in the hotel and close by. Parking was easy. The room was roomy and fresh and clean. The sunset view was spectacular and we loved watching the skytrain come and go. The tub was spectacular. The bed was comfy and the location was excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly.

There was nothing that we did not like.

Spacious room. Comfy bed. USB charging points. Fridge and safe. Iron and ironing board. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent, the staff all polite and helpful. Next door is the Taphouse bar and restaurant. The location was good for us, just a short walk from the hotel there is the Lougheed shopping mall and SkyTrain. Using the SkyTrain you can get downtown in 30 minutes or so.

I really like the location. Close to the Hard Rock Casino or sky train. Rooms were clean and beds are comfortable.

The Taphouse pub below which is a night club at night is pretty noisy. We were on the 9th floor and it was still in full swing at 2 am. One thing I was not happy about, we wanted to have a drink at the bar and we were told they weren’t taking anymore walk-ins. There were only 2 people at the bar. Not very good for paying hotel customers. Breakfast buffet in the morning we went to, the items were almost empty and there was no staff to be seen, so we left. Found a great hole in the wall next door called Jimmy’s Place.

My recent stay at Executive Plaza Hotel left me thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The standout feature of this hotel was undoubtedly the friendly staff. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. Their genuine warmth and attentive service made my stay all the more enjoyable. The availability of parking was a definite convenience, making it hassle-free to explore the area with peace of mind. Additionally, having a restaurant close by was a great perk, offering convenient dining options without having to venture far. One of the hotel's major advantages was its strategic location. Being situated across from public transportation, the sky train, was a game-changer. Within just a 5-minute walking distance, I could easily access the city center, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city's attractions and landmarks. Overall, my experience at Executive Plaza Hotel was fantastic. The comfortable room, friendly staff, available parking, and proximity to public transport made it an excellent choice for anyone looking to have a pleasant and convenient stay. I will surely consider returning to this hotel on my next visit to the city.

While my stay at Executive Plaza Hotel was enjoyable, one aspect that left me wanting more was the size of the pool. Although it was a nice addition to the hotel amenities, I couldn't help but feel that a larger pool would have been more appealing. With a larger pool, guests could have had more space to relax and unwind, making it an even more refreshing experience during the stay. Despite this minor setback, the overall positives of the hotel still made it a worthwhile choice for accommodation.

Fairly close to where we needed to be (Poirier Sports complex). Good restaurant (although we never had a moment to actually eat there) and pub next door for a quick drink/bite. The room was a nice, but standard type room. Bed was comfy, halls were not too noisy or busy.

The pub was extremely noisy near closing time and our room was overlooking the entrance.

The customer service was over the top...my friend and I were actually shocked at how attentive the staff were!

The only thing I can think of is that there was not decaf coffee in the room, but I suspect if you asked you could get them to bring it to your room.

Location was outstanding close to trains/buses less than an hour to Grandville Island! Staff were very nice and service was prompt. We had a view of the city skyline and walkable to breakfast, coffee etc.... although there is a nice restaurant in the hotel. Parking was easy and monitored. We would definitely stay again.

A few age related upgrades needed in bathroom.
