We were very happy with this location because it is next to a big mall & the mall is next to the Canada line sky train station. Across the back of the hotel is the Landsdowne Center, a big shopping mall with a Food court, T&T, pharmacy, Chinese herbal store, Maxim Bakery, Dollarama, Winners, Best Buy, Travel agencies, several Chinese restaurants & one restaurant call #9 Restaurant opens 7x24. Most of the shops at the mall close at 7pm but M's Travel agency next to the #9 Restaurant closes at 9pm, we came back from our day trip after 7pm, we had dinner at the #9 Restaurant & booked our tour to Whistler at the M's Travel agency within the same hour! Their tour price is 1/3 the price that we paid for the Victoria Day tour at the hotel. The only inconvenience is the tour pickup point is at another hotel which is one train station away. We paid $5 for Uber & got to the tour pickup point from our hotel in 5 mins. Across from the Bestbuy is the Lansdowne SkyTrain station which is on Canada Line and it can take you to the airport or to downtown Vancouver. If you buy the day pass, you canusecit to take the Seabus to north Vancouver.

The beds are too soft & uncomfortable. They didn't clean our room or fix our beds for the whole week during our stay., but you can request new towels or a thorough cleaning any time which is acceptable.

The stay was better than expected, based on reviews. I found it excellent value, much less expensive than most of the other airport hotels, offering the same services. I appreciated the free shuttle, complimentary continental breakfast, quiet, clean and comfortable room, close to shops, restaurants and the skytrain into Vancouver. The room was large, spacious, with a TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker (complementary coffee/tea), complementary soaps, etc. There’s not much more you can ask for in an airport hotel. Upon request, we even got free “late” check-out (noon), and baggage storage, as we had an evening flight.

The property is a bit dated and hallway rugs/elevator rugs a bit worn/not so clean, but our bedroom was spotless. Definitely worth the $100 savings based on similar rooms in nearby hotels. Breakfast was very basic, and only offered between 6:30-9:30am, but it was complementary. We had a quick bite, and headed out to one of the many restaurant options in the area. Lots of amazing options within walking distance.

I had a long (daytime) layover in Vancouver so decided to take a room for the day. Other hotels tried to up-charge $60 for early checkin but not the Grand Park. The ladies at the front desk gave me a warm welcome. The room was clean. The carpet could be updated but the bed and pillows were very, very comfortable. I wish I’d had time to explore the neighbourhood. Sooo many restaurants! I’d stay here again for sure. Great value for $.

The property was fine but the shuttle was broken down so I had to taxi from the airport to the hotel or wait an additional hour, which would have been 2 hours in total. $28

Complimentary airport shuttle which was punctual. Comfortable bed, microwave oven, coffee machine in room. At the lobby there is also complimentary good coffee beans and tea bags. Comfortable sitting area at the lobby. We were offered early check in and also complimentary breakfast everyday we were there. Counter staff Sharon helped us with the check in and she is helpful and cheerful. Also Joycelyn who helped us to arrange a medical appointment when my husband was sick. The housekeeping staff were also friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. Lansdowne mall is 3 minutes walk from the back entrance. In front of the hotel, across the road, there are many restaurants.

Bathroom shower head a bit hard to adjust if you are not tall enough to reach it.

EVERY THING. An Airline staff and travelling to many places and various hotels. Why I gave a 10 star rating is not because its a Five star hotel but treats its guests as 5 star. We liked the welcome and quick check-in close to midnight. The corridors and room smells nice. The lobby is huge and gives that comfortable charm. Complementary Tea/Coffee at the lobby. Room is big, nice view, all bed linen crisp and clean. Bathroom very good and size. Water heating etc superb. We liked that little complementary B/fast given. The lady at reception plus the gents who went beyond their duty to give us many information about where to shop/train etc. All in all a wonderful stay in a very nice clean area. The train station is just 10-15 minutes walk. The mall behind the hotel has all the necessary things one needs.

It was close to the airport. Was a nice place with a free shuttle to the airport.

I didn’t like that the staff had not turned off the alarm from the person who stayed before us, so we got a 6AM wake up scare with a blaring alarm clock.

I took the shuttle at 06:30, no chance to have breakfast and arrived too late to try the dining room. Still good to have the restaurant in the hotel. One traveller was able to get a muffin before leaving. I booked my room because of the convenience of back and forth, free shuttle to the airport. The coffee machine didn’t work in the room but I was able to get one in the lobby. Surprised by the good quality of the coffee and accès of creamer not the powdered substitute . Very clean room and comfortable bed.

The noise of the planes but it was expected because of the location. Small detail. Not much to complain about it.

The room was fantastic. It was across from the elevator and I was concerned about the noise. I was pleasantly surprised, the room was very quiet and nice and dark.2 things I need while traveling.

In the morning I had need of the airport shuttle, we were told to be downstairs 5 minutes prior to departure. There were 3 people accessing the shuttle that morning. Two of us were there early. We had to wait for one person was there late. It caused us to be stressed to make flights. When the time has passed we should have left to the airport. The third person should have had to wait for the next shuttle. It would have been nice to have had a continental breakfast included.

The staff. Reception gave us a warm welcome, answered our many questions & advised us as to the amenities & details for the airport shuttle. The shuttle driver was prompt, courteous & a safe driver. This is an airport hotel, & they are clearly prepared for their guests. This is not a luxury destination. The room we had was large & equipped for travelers. The bed was comfy, the linens were fresh & clean, the water pressure was great with plenty of hot water.

Nothing comes to mind. I wanted a decent airport hotel with a shuttle & I scored.

Excellent room on 6th floor, marked as "Executive Floor". Big, airy, clean, quiet & comfortable. Bathroom looked recently refurbished & the shower was really strong. Microwave, coffee maker & kettle are very useful. Very friendly & helpful reception staff. It's located in a Chinese business district, with scores of restaurants within short walking distance, plus a McDonald's a hundred yards away & a shopping mall across the road behind the hotel.

Lobby area is a bit gloomy on arrival, but this didn't affect my stay at all.
