We had a great stay at Serenity. Our host was helpful in getting us settled in and orienting us to the home. It is just a short walk to the Royal Oak station so we never had to use our car once we arrived. We just hopped on the train and headed downtown where we spent the day enjoying Vancouver, The money we saved staying at Serenity vs downtown was spent on tours and food instead of expensive lodging! The breakfast was simple (yogurt, toast, juice and coffee) but thats all we needed before we checked out and was frankly a bonus. My wife and I highly recommend staying at Serenity!

Jene treated us like family members and we feel like home away from home. Lactation is very wonderful and close to Skytrain station Royal Oak , hence we could reach to Water front and Down town area very easily. Jene is Superb and very helping. Myself and my spouse Jyoti enjoyed the stay very much and would like to go again to this peaceful and clean location.

Jene expected to search everything on net. She can keep tourist maps, and guide during initial days which will make guest more comfortable.

Host was very nice upon check-in and gave us privacy. The room is near the front of the house, so you can go in and out without disturbing the house. Bathroom is not connected, but right down the hall so, again, you don't see the home owners. Room was clean and comfortable and Jane takes extra steps to make sure the room and bathroom are well stocked. She also provides access to the kitchen and coffee maker. We were comfy.

There is road noise, but it's typical for a city house.

My parents appreciated the effort Jane put into getting extra breakfast items for them! (And being able to use the kitchen). She & her husband made them feel very much at home. They enjoyed the chats & warmth. They loved the cleanliness and decor in the bathroom (they kept on saying it was like a hotel bathroom!) and loved the living room beauty & furniture too.

All of the above but the owners were exceptional people. Polite, kind, and comfortable to have conversations with. The manner in which they greeted us at the door, introducing us to our suite appeared to come naturally and sincere from them. Just a beautiful couple. We hope to go back again. Simply put, home away from home. We had an interesting conversation, settled with a lovely hot cup of tea, and off to bed. Delicious breakfast in a lovely setting. We thank them kindly.

There is nothing to change. Excellent. If there was anything to change it would be us staying at least another night.

The host was super helpful, the bathroom was brand new with an amazing shower, the bed was very comfortable, there was even a piano for me to practice with in the living room, everything was immaculately clean, the decor was very nice

Comfortable, welcoming and helpful place and people. Extremely clean with air conditioning available and beautiful bathroom with shower. I would recommend.

The bed was very firm and could use a gel topper.

Location was good, Richard and Jane were excellent hosts. The place was very tidy.

Bedroom was small and we prefer to have an ensuite bathroom.

Jane and Richard are very kind and helpfull. The house is very clean.. Very nice place to be.
