I loved the room and the comfort of the bed. I would rate it the best bed I've stayed in during all of my travel experiences. Lovely room, very comfortable, and had the appropriate amenities. The location is superb, right in the city center, and you can walk pretty much everywhere. There are shops near the hotel, the Vancouver Art Gallery, and the Vancouver Convention Center is just 10 minutes away. Also, loved their Le Labo shampoo.

I think the hairdryer could be a bit more pro, like a professional hairdryer with more power. I would have loved it if there had been a continental breakfast option; going to the restaurant didn't seem very appealing, at least to me.

All the staff were lovely to deal with, excellent room service and food , attractive large wood-panelled room and furniture, wonderful bed, very nice amenities, and a kettle is so nice for a tea aficionado. Appreciated the microwave and fridge.

Paid a rather high price for a tiny, shower-only bathroom; after a long day/ 5 hour flight a bath would have been nice to ease the stiffness. A shower doesn't cut it. Small window.Price is partly my fault because I booked last minute, and I probably could have asked about a bath. Noted for next time!

My stay at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver was absolutely wonderful. The concierge team was truly outstanding—so kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. A special thank you to Maya, who went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect during my visit. Her warmth and professionalism made all the difference. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and I left completely fascinated by the experience. Truly one of the best hotel teams I’ve ever encountered.

Location was excellent. Room size was good.

Value for money wasn't good, you are paying for location. There was no breakfast included in the room rate. The hotel had no separate desk or staff for checking in and out. On check out in the morning we were faced with a long queue of people trying to check in and store their luggage, despite official check in not until after 3pm. People checking out in the morning should be a priority.

Check in staff upgraded our room and gave us complimentary drink vouchers when we told them we were celebrating a significant wedding anniversary. Staff were very friendly. Size of the room and bed was very comfortable. Ideal location, surrounded by high end shops accessed from the lobby. We hired a rental car from Avis and the hotel is right next door. Handed the keys back to Avis and literally wheeled suitcases through to the front entry of the hotel. Absolutely ideal. Also only a $10 taxi ride to cruise terminal

The room was quite tired, lots of dings and dents. The bath enamel in parts was coming off the bath floor surface. The room definitely could have been cleaner. Glass surfaces of cupboards had finger prints, glass door into the bathroom had moisturizer or something to that effect on it. Needed a good wipe down

The location is excellent, the bed is exceptionally comfortable, and the room is very spacious. Additionally, the staff are friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall positive experience.

The shower pressure is inadequate. Additionally, scheduling renovations for the gym and sauna during the winter holidays seems like a poor decision. While an alternative option with a partner location was offered, it did not compensate for the inconvenience and disappointment.

This was a wonderful hotel to stay in. Centrally located in Vancouver, it was beautifully presented with a great room. Customer service was excellent at reception, the restaurant and the cleaning staff. I actually had two separate bookings between the start and end of my Canadian Rockies tour and the hotel kindly allowed me to store my larger suitcase there between my stays.

The indoor pool is nice but the pool wall lining was wearing away and could use maintenance. Also the spa was non-operational and would have been good to have on the colder nights.

The staff in the common areas and service were excellent. We loved the location and the high-end shopping that was in the lobby of the hotel. Felt like an iconic grande dame hotel. Concierge staff were patient and helpful. We visited the other Fairmont hotels in the city, and we thought the location of this one was the best. Everything was within walking distance.

We stayed in a suite. The entrance had a lingering unpleasant odor, and a standing lamp in the living area did not work, so the space was dark. The décor in the living area was also dark with a dark gray sofa. There were dirty dishes in the hallway from other guests that took close to a day to be removed.

The comfy bed

There is no parking for the guests, the hotel will ask you to park in the public parking across the road, which is a a bit pricey too.
