The location was great, right in the center. You can walk to a lot of places. The concierges were very helpful. The room was spacious, quiet, we were on the 10th floor. Loved the heating system and the bathroom floor that was heated too. For breakfast, the first day, since we did not get the bacon with the dish we ordered, the waitress replaced it with a bowl of fruits which we appreciated and found very nice.

I booked the room with breakfast included but I had to pay an extra, $3 for a latte every morning that I ordered one. I feel that for the price of the room and the breakfast, the extra charge for a latte was excessive. 2 times also, when we sat down for breakfast in the morning, the table and floor were not cleaned properly, the table was sticky and the floor covered with food, probably from people who ate diner the night before there.

We had an unforgettable 6-day stay at the Exchange Hotel and everything was just perfect! The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of downtown Vancouver, steps away from Waterfront Station, Gastown, and amazing restaurants and shops. Our room was spotless, stylish, and super cozy. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and great local tips. What really stood out was the vibe — modern, energetic, and classy without being over-the-top. It felt like the perfect mix of comfort and boutique luxury. We’ll definitely be coming back on our next trip to Vancouver. Highly recommended!

We recently stayed at EXchange hotel for a week, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The hotel is in a prime location, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. It’s a quick walk to major train stations, which made getting around seamless. Canada Place is walking distance, so if you plan to catch the shuttle to Capilano Bridge it’s super convenient. The area is surrounded by coffee shops, stores, bars and restaurants nearby, so finding great food was never a problem. The staff were wonderful, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The accommodations were comfortable, and the overall ambiance of the hotel made it feel like a home away from home. Would stay here again!

One minor downside was the shower. It has a half open glass shower door design which doesn’t effectively keep the water in while showering. So there’s always a puddle on the bathroom floor after.

Exchange Hotel Staff is beyond courteous, all very kind, helpful, welcoming you with a smile and valuable recommendation to explore the city (even if you arrive at 1AM). From front-seat to concierge, these people understand the meaning of hospitality. Rooms are remodeled and clean. Comfortable, yet small - so may not be the best fit you are the type who travels with big suitcases. The only downside is that it is in downtown and windows are not sound proof - so we could hear sirene and street noise later in the night. Simple earplugs solved it for us, but if you are sensitive to noise, you might be aware of it.

Staff were honestly delightful at every turn. The best gym facilities out of the 8 hotels on this trip. Bed was very comfortable. If they offer you a choice of a corner room or non-corner, don’t pick the corner - the view is just of other buildings and the room layout was terrible - so much space wasted in corridors while you’re tripping over your bed. They send you texts to check in on how things are going and I mentioned this - they offered to move us and sent up a couple dollars of chocolate as an apology… All in all, still had a good experience and would stay again in future.

Location: so central to everything and walkable to so many different locations around the city. Do note that the front desk/main lobby is located on the 2nd floor. Staff: everyone we encountered were so professional and friendly. Special shoutout to the following staff who helped us: Randy, Vincent, Samual, Farshid, Alexander, Mariana. Thank you for making our stay comfortable and relaxing! Facilities: small and cozy for a hotel located in Downtown. everything in the room is advanced and nice including the restaurant. For someone who worked in hotels before, this hotel is perfect for business travelers or travelers who want to stay comfortably in the city center

Our room didn’t have the dental sets in the room but when requested, it was swiftly delivered so that was not an issue at all. The breakfast at Hydra was nice. It would be nice if guests were allowed more than 1 entree and drink (if breakfast package was included in reservation) but it was sufficient since there are so many cafes and eateries everywhere outside.

Absolutely outstanding experience! The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. From the seamless check-in process to the thoughtful little touches throughout my stay, every detail was handled with care. The service was exceptional, and the accommodations were top-notch. It set the bar too high for my future travels

The property was appealing because it wasn’t huge. It was quick and easy to access our rooms, the restaurant and reception. The elevator was so quick and smooth you didn’t even know you were moving. Everything was clean, super efficient and well thought out. The hotel and rooms have all the details absolutely nailed. From the tablet that guests use to navigate the hotel amenities and history, to the heating and cooling system and many many other elements of the room that are sustainable and brilliant, it is clear that the design is state of the art and leading edge in the hotel industry. The best part of the stay was the staff. They were so kind, friendly and helpful. They were unbelievably attentive to our needs and wants. I would give the staff a 20/10 if I could.

Large clean and nicely furnished rooms with usb chargers. Excellent location. Very friendly staff. We were able to check in early and check out late which was a very appreciated

My credit card was declined and my bank was baffled regarding how to card was tried to be charged. Apparently they stopped supporting that sort of payments 10+ years ago. This caused some hassle and I tried calling the hotel 5 times before I gave up and switched to an other credit card in booking which to my surprise was accepted. Messages from the hotel are too verbose and should just cut to the chase While staff is very friendly and welcoming there was quite a few members of staff trying to start small talk. I guess this is appreciated in north america, but was a bit overbearing for a European in slight hurry After the stay I got 8 emails/messages asking to write a review

Everything was great with the accommodation, the staff was very friendly. The room was a bit small, but the price was very good, so no issues.

The only thing that spoiled the experience was a misunderstanding with the modification of my order. I needed to leave a day earlier, and I asked at the reception if it was possible. I was told that no problem and they would not charge me for the last day, but I should write about it to Booking support. I did so, but in the end, they still took 100% of my reservation. It is not critical but a little unpleasant. Otherwise, everything is great.
