This is a particularly well maintained and comfortable hotel in the Gastown area of Vancouver.  The staff are friendly and helpful, particularly Sandeep, who sorted a small issue that that we had.  The rooms are clean, well appointed and comfortable.  I did find the air conditioner a bit noisy, but other than that, I cannot fault our room.  We had a nice big bed and probably the best shower we had on this trip. There is no restaurant or breakfast available, you may want to consider this but there are loads of coffee shops in the area.

Outside the hotels control, however, we were aggressively pushed and followed by a homeless man outside the hotel. Staff were helpful in locking the door. High numbers of drug use and homelessness in the hotel area.

The rooms are stylishly appointed and spotlessly clean. The service was friendly and very accommodating. The location is excellent, putting you in walking distance of transit, Gastown, and plenty of downtown amenities. You get a nespresso machine in your room which is perfect for a coffee lover like me.

There isn't really a place in the room to put your laptop where you can comfortably sit and use it. This is a niche problem for me because my laptop is huge and therefore doesn't really fit on my lap. There's also no breakfast service. There are however plenty of great breakfast places in walking distance :)

This cute hotel is located in an excellent location, is clean, and had excellent recommendations of local things to do.

We were on the 3rd floor facing the street. It is most definitely noisy at night but we figured out turning on the ac unit helped not only keep the room cool but to drown out the street noise. It is good to know there are a few blocks that are sketchy. There are some homeless around, public urination, and drug use happening, but it wasn't threatening to us as we walked by. We made sure to be safe at night.

The Victorian Hotel was in a convenient location, clean and stylishly decorated. Our room was equipped with everything we needed, I particularly liked the spacious and powerful shower. The staff were always helpful and friendly.

Although aware when booking, we would have like a place to have breakfast within the hotel. However, there was quite of bit of building work going on at the time of our stay, so we did wonder whether they were going to include a breakfast room in their plans.

The room was perfect. The employees were great. There wasn’t anything more they could have done to make our stay better. The parking situation was totally out of their control. We liked that where we stayed was within walking distance to the revolving restaurant.

Street noise was terrible until 11:00 pm then it quieted down. Parking left much to be desired. Parking a block away was unacceptable for a senior citizen and a handicapped individual. We were finally given a parking spot on site and a employee went and retrieved our vehicle for us.

I love staying at the Victorian when attending concerts since the hotel is within walking distance of Rogers arena. The ambiance of the hotel itself is also a lot nicer than other hotels I've stayed at nearby and for a better price! This was our first time bringing a vehicle over while staying here and it was great to be able to park our car in the on site parking and have peace of mind that it would be secure overnight.

The heat had been turned up in the room so when we arrived it was very hot and took a couple of hours for the heaters to fully turn off and cool down. Would be nice to have air conditioning as we had to have the windows open a bit to sleep and the area is pretty noisy at night.

We had a lovely stay! Shared bathrooms were clean all the time and the building is renovated and well taken care of. Front desk personnel were kind and helpful with anything we needed.

Missing an ground floor entrance or elevator. There are few flights of stairs to go up to the reception ( and if you have suitcases you have to carry yourself or ask at the front desk for help lifting them up) If you are new in town, just be mindful, the hotel is near a not so good area in town, a lot of drug addicts wandering around, they are not dangerous but it isn’t pleasant to see

It is a historical building renovated with all the modern comforts. It is in a great location, about 10 min walk to the waterfront, and to so many restaurants. Even Roger’s Arena is only a 15 minute walk. We always felt safe in our walks.

Minor things: wish the TV was a smart TV so we could stream our own preferences. I would prefer a regular coffee maker rather than a Nescafé- as it really does more Europe style espresso.

The hotel location is ideal, a short walk from the waterfront station giving easy access to the airport, and close to Downtown, gastown and canada wharf. An umbrella weas supplied, prefect for the wet February weather and a lovely cosy bath robe. I was also upgraded from a small double to a kingsize room

The area around the hotel was a little run down but I didn't feel unsafe
