The hotel is centrally located, with large signage adorning the building making it easy to locate. The walkability is excellent with high-end shops, restaurants and other sites to enjoy nearby. It is flat and relatively smooth. Clean rooms. Lux bedding and linens. Elegant shower and tub. Well-designed two-sided vanity bathroom. Palatino leather items throughout and the fresh flowers elevate the quality of detail. The Nespresso machine, minibar provisions, and the ever classy Diptych bathing goods all help to heighten this lux posture. The gym is on the smaller side, but, it's well-appointed and cute af.

In-room dining ends at 11p. But the kindness of the staff makes up for it Who is the artist of the chandelier and of the spellbinding artistic piece behind the front desk? If you find out, put it in your update. :)

Incredible Stay here, I just had one issue but this was totally outside of the hotels control, the walls are quite thin and the guest in the suite next to me had obviously fallen asleep with their TV on full blast and it was booming through my wall from 3 am till 4 am. The staff were very helpful and persistent in trying to wake the guests, and then also took care of the cocktails I had at the bar the knife prior as a small thank you which went a very long way all in all all of the staff, especially Lazaro at the bar were amazing. This will be the only hotel I stay at in Vancouver going forwards. I only have one disappointment, I was only there for one night and the pool was closed for their staff function so I wasn’t able to use that facility but I have something to look forward to next time!

a very decent view of the City was important in the enjoyment of our stay which was for 6 nights. Centrality of location was critical in allowing us to enjoy many aspects of Vancouver City life and shopping. Partner even managed to get an appointment for the hair. Abundance of good eating opportunities within walking distance, but the food on site was delightful as much as the staff was.

I think some basic instruction might have been good to better understand the working of the integrated lighting system.... I found it confusing, almost as much as managing to get the coffee machine to work.

We always stay here, love this hotel, the lobby, the restaurants / food, the rooms / bathrooms, amenities, location, staff / service. Everything is great and dialled in. It’s a very comfortable home away from home, especially if you have to travel a lot.

My only thing - I wish we could make the rooms cooler for sleep. Seems like the recent renovation saw the installation of those eco-thermostats which keep the temperature locked above a certain point, and kick it back up to a warmer temperature after a certain amount of time. Even if I’d turn the temp down to lowest, leave and hope the room would be cool when I came back, it would be back at 70 degrees when I’d return because of this reset feature.

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Room was cleaned and the turn down service were all really nice. Nice products. Beautiful bathroom, shower, used the soaking tub and the bath salts were a nice touch. Enjoyed the in-room coffee in the morning.

The room is not quite as spacious as the photos. Wish there was more room for our suitcases. For such a lux property, one of our suitcases had to be open on the floor, the other on the luggage stand. Very small closet. No drawers to speak of. We were facing the back courtyard (which was under construction, but no noise from there disturbed us). The street seemed loud, so I was glad for that. Do wish that we had some sort of view, however, for such a beautiful city.

The service at the Rosewood was absolutely outstanding. All staff were exceptional and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if in Vancouver. I would particularly like to highlight the concierge who came to my rescue when let down at the very last minute by a pre-booked activity. He managed to save the day with only a 10 minute window to do so! Bed was very comfortable and the room felt inviting and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was sublime. 10 minute walk from most things and subway station a 2 minute walk so perfect location.

The only improvements are very minor but would have been more 1) wardrobe/drawer space for clothes. Its perfectly adequate for a few nights but this was part of a much longer trip for us so found this limited. 2) proper cups for tea drinkers in the room as standard ....not everyone likes coffee. As soon as we asked for them though they appeared.

Centrally located in downtown Vancouver. Able to walk to all downtown sites. Did take short Uber ride to Stanley Park. The little amenities in room were a nice touch. We were surprised and got upgrade to a suite which was quite spacious. Very quiet. Did not hear any noise from hallway during the night. Gym was very well supplied with equipment and room to spread out for workout. Pool and spa also available next to gym area but we did not use these services. We felt like we were on a honeymoon. Bed was comfortable and we slept great. Bathroom was huge with separate sinks and large shower. We also had a half bath in suite. Coffee and tea were available in the room.

Nothing really. Just little things like breakfast included, welcome drink such as Prosecco. They did offer bottle water during checkin process. Couch in sitting room was not comfortable. If you are wanting a place that is bright and airy this may not be for you. Room is dark. I did hear they are closing hotel for updates.

Wide variety of menu with good cuisine level!

I loved the personal care they give to their client! They are professional, amazing and very cooperative and friendly! Especially the assistant manager Mr. Ismail and Mrs. Nadia one of the front desk managers ( they were outstanding)and Mr. Tada in Inroom dining ( his energy and efficiency was a blessing). As well as the spa receptionist Mira, Melissa the massage therapist and the spa manager Roxana. Not to forget Alvera the senior staff in dry clean section.She did a great job!! They were all so wonderful and amazing!! I really felt blessed to meet all of them and they did contribute so positively to my wonderful experience in the Hotel during my stay.

beautiful historic property in central vanocuver with luxurious rooms and suites that offer all modern amenities. the quality of the bed and the bathroom were superb and housekeeping did an absolutely flawless job. we also appreciated the great toileteries from diptyque. finally, there is a well-equipped gym and indoor pool at the guests' disposal.

after we travelled for an entire day and arrival around 11pm, we would have wished for a warm welcome. instead we dragged our luggage up the stairs alone and were told that our credit cards do not work and that we may want to call our bank immediately, as otherwise we would not be able to check-in. also, the busy outdoor bar with loud music causes quite some noise in rooms facing the terrace; in our opinion the outdoor bar does generally not live up to the class you would expect in this property.

Motion sensing light that went on when needed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Liquid soap provided smelled very strongly and stayed on my hands even with repeated washing. Not too good when trying to enjoy wine at the restaurant. Don't know if individual lights could be controlled. Found that the Master Switch turned off everything.
