staffs are nice and housekeeping quite efficient

1. room getting old.... beds and sofas are not entirely comfortable 2. should put in better wine opener--it is a very cheap one and often broke the cork into pieces 3. encountered a bad experience with parking tickets for my rental car even though I showed the reception lady the car tag no. for registration parking. I did not use car for few days to get over jet lag after I rented and found the ticket problem only few days later---had the wrong licence plate no ( one digit wrong) typed into the hotel system 4. The phone system initially was not working ---cannot dialled out ---should upgrade it!

We enjoyed our stay here as our first stop in Canada. The layout of the 2 bedroom suite meant that everyone in our family of 4 had their own space (utilising sofa bed in living room) which was helpful with teens, and recovering from a long haul flight from Australia. TV in every room and comfortable beds. The suite was well equipped with kitchen facilities for self catering options. Pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. Good location for nearby dining and shopping. Easy uber ride to nearby attractions.

It was disappointing to find on arrival that the pool was closed for servicing. Although we were offered access to a nearby hotel pool this was much less convenient. Very happy to see the pools reopened by our second day. Aircon unit was very noisy on the balcony. Otherwise happy with our hotel choice.

Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The room was very spacious. We could cook, and have a meal in their table. There was a bed we could set up in the living room area. All good for our family!

The price was quite expensive and no breakfast was included. The movies for a fee in the TV need to have a lock or should not be easily accessible especially with us having kids. They were clicking the remote control away and accidentally clicked on the movies without them knowing these were chargeable to us. We were indeed charged for a movie during our stay :( This could have been avoided as we cannot watch on our kids 24/7 inside the room.

We pulled up to the hotel and were greeted by the staff in such a hospitable and friendly way. It truly set the tone of the stay. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment, and it was a delight. We had a balcony with a lovely view of a green space, and the living area was well sized and spaced. The highlight of the stay was my bed. I had a beautiful sleep. I can't say enough about how sumptuous, comfortable and cozy the bed was. This property is pet friendly and charged a very reasonable $40. We had a lovely breakfast at Boulevard the next morning and enjoyed the lively service and the food. I ordered avocado toast, and it was a work of art and flavours.

My only criticism, and I'm hesitant to even remark on this, but the front desk and lobby is quite crowded during peak times of check in and check out. I opted to drop our keys and scan the QR code to check out to avoid the wait.

The room I got was far superior than in the picture. It was more updated and instead of a queen and king bed, both bedrooms had king beds! Everything was perfect. the whole facility was far superior than I expected. I was told by the taxi driver that many celebrities stay at Sutton Place because it's so nice. I understand why. There is the perfect grocery store one block away with incredible pre-made food. It came in so handy. The bell hops were fantastic and I never had to wait for a cab. I would stay there again.

That I couldn't stay longer

Amazing house staff with daily service included running the dishwasher and making the beds. We are not accustomed to such attentive service these days. All the staff - concierge, front desk, house cleaning - were over the top in providing friendly service to make for a lovely stay.

Overall, nothing to complain about. The city noises are what they are. The location is so CENTRALLY located with convention centet, soccer stadium, Stanley park all within a walkable km or 2, not to mention restaurants and shopping!

La Grande Residence at Sutton Place Hotel is in a great location. Short walk to Downtown and Canada Place. Discovered some good resturants and bars in the area. Staff exceptional, happy to help with our arrival, even though we arrived via the "rear" door. Our two bedroom apartment was large with two big rooms. Second room had two large beds. Plenty of room for 5 adults. Lounge area comfortable, kitchen good as well. Can recommened Central Resturant Bendall and Tap and Barrel at Canada Place for good meals and drinks

Size of the room, location and cleanliness. Great view if the English bay fireworks show!! It was awesome! Loved all the amenities in the room.

We were in room 1207. The closet in the main bedroom was part of the ventilation system for the air on which was a bit odd. Also the aircon machine was on the balcony and vey loud which meant we had to turn off the aircon when we wanted to use the balcony. Not a big deal but for the price I would not have expected it

Loved the location. Close to all the activities the city has to offer. Walking distance to great shops, restaurants and sites; like sunset beach & much more. Celebrated our 30th anniversary. Great memories at Sutton Place, we can’t wait to visit again soon. Special thanks to their wonderful staff, especially Ms.Jennifer at the front desk. She was amazing in getting us settled in on our arrival. Enjoyed our stayj, I would recommend this location if you’re planning a visit to Vancouver, a cruise stop over or heading to Victoria.

Room lack storage options like draws or dresser for storage, found it difficult to use just closet space to access belongings.

It was very comfortable and clean. Two bedroom apartment was perfect for our family with all the amenities we needed - kitchen was fully equipped which was really convenient as we didn’t want to eat out for every meal. The location was great, very safe and we could walk or take public transport easily.

The aircon for our apartment was quite loud but we switched off at night and left on during the day while we were out and that worked well and wasn’t an issue. Money wise the hotel didn’t tell us about all the vouchers available for parking and the discount at the IGA supermarket next door. So suggest folk do check when checking in what’s on offer (the supermarket staff told us about the discount rather than the hotel). It also wasn’t very clear how much I was being charged for the stay as initially I was charged more than I had been quoted on booking.com but I queried it and it was sorted out quickly. My suggestion would be to get and keep receipts just in case. Overall though I would book again as the positives outweighed these minor inconveniences.
