The close proximity to YVR made it a great place to stay. The Uber prices were less than taxis, and it takes less than 10 - 15 minutes one way. The breakfast was a "help yourself" style with the exception of requesting boiled eggs. I personally liked that aspect. There are a number of restaurants just around the corner, which is a bonus for lunch/dinner options. It is a residential home and depending on the room you book, you may have to share the bathroom. I personally do not mind that, and for the price point I am very satisfied with the experience.

It would have been nice to know that the bathroom would potentially be shared with other people, but other than that I have nothing negative to say. :)

There are plenty of self-access choices for breakfast, which is an uncooked version but offers sufficient options. The whole house is neat as a pin and clean, and every time I wanted something in my room it was provided (e.g. plug converters, fans, shampoo, etc etc). Free off-street parking and easy check-in. The handheld shower has abundant pressure, which is very important to me. Really, everything was available and suitable, just like the last time I stayed in 2023.

We loved our 3 night stay with David & his parents. We were made to feel like welcomed guests, with David greeting us on arrival & giving lots of great info about transport, local grocery stores & restaurants, & local activities. The room was huge & very comfortable, with plenty of towels & toiletries, & there was just so much food, snacks & drinks available for us to help ourselves to. Transport both to the city & to Steveston was close by, & easy to use. We highly recommend this bnb for any one visiting Vancouver & wanting accommodation near the airport

We stayed in one of the 3 upstairs bedrooms. It was quiet and comfortable….within walking distance to a few restaurants and a strip mall with a Save-on-Foods. Very nice area of Vancouver. The host David went above and beyond offering recommendations for restaurants and suggested activities in the area. Close to the bus stop which is very handy if you require public transportation. Shared kitchen downstairs which was well-stocked with typical things for a continental breakfast. Unfortunately due to city bylaw guests were unable to use the stove…therefore no hot breakfast.

The location was great, set on a pretty street, and only 15 mins from the airport. Five minutes away is a shopping area and few restaurants, which is useful. 100metres away is a bus stop that can take you to the picturesque seaside town of Steveston. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. The best part was the communication with the host, David, he could not be more helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing, it was exactly what we wanted.

The room is spacious with all plugs needed to charge our devices. Large Tv set. The mattresses are perfect. The street is very quiet. Location the best: restaurants and supermarket a mere 250/300 mts away. Transportation: free parking; a bus stop connecting to the subway system on the other side of the street. The sea shore reached by walking 20/30 min through beautiful environment. Communication with the host, David, was pleasant and efficient. He drove us back to the airport for $20. There is nothing negative to mention. We really enjoyed very much our one day stay there and wish we could stay longer.

Great communication with David prior to arriving. And very friendly on arrival. Very helpful, booked taxis to airport for us. Provided information about restaurants and places to walk in neighbourhood. The beds were very comfortable..

As the bathroom is shared with other guests, would suggest putting a mirror and hairdryer in the room to enable other quests to have quicker access to bathroom and save delays.

Breakfast was ‘help yourself’ with a welcome coffee machine. The B and B was near the airport in a pleasant quiet residential area. David the host was very welcoming and helpful. We stayed one night and visited the river, a very good Chinese restaurant and the Fisherman’s Wharf the second day. The room was large and comfortable and so was the en-suite bath/shower.

Perhaps a little more preparation of the breakfast but the coffee machine was a treat.

David met us to check in and explained everything clearly. We had a lovely big room, breakfast was great (cereals, toast, tea, coffee, fruit) Fridge was well stocked We needed to do laundry and that was no problem either Place was spotlessly clean. Would definitely stay again

Absolutely nothing

David was very attentive. The room was comfortable and AIR CONDITIONED a very nice feature in summer. Complimentary drinks are provided and lots of food options for a light breakfast although no fresh pastries as indicated. Quiet location and also quiet in the house.

The booking site indicated that I was getting a larger room with an extra bed.... which I didn't need. I got a room with just one bed, that looked a bit smaller that the photo. I didn't mind as it was an overnight stay.
