Our flight was delayed and then one of our bags was also lost. We were able to text with the staff to keep them up to date on our arrival time and they were very empathetic and happy to have us once we finally arrived. Our jacuzzi suite was amazing and exactly what we needed after long travels and after being out in Vancouver all day exploring the sights. We ordered the room service breakfast, which was amazing! Highly recommend the Bacchus!

Our one-night stay exceeded expectations. The complimentary suite upgrade with Robson Square views, coupled with the exceptional service provided by the highly professional staff, ensured a perfect visit. The hotel's central downtown location was ideal. Valet parking was conveniently arranged, and the staff graciously waived extra charges, accommodating our later departure for the airport. The reception staff, the Bacchus piano player, and Kirby provided outstanding and thoughtful service, creating a memorable experience for my young daughter. We enjoyed our night at Bacchus for an evening drink and for breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel!

No complaints, everything was perfect!

It lives up to the Relais et Chateau renown. There is just a level of quality, service, and warmth you don't get to experience that often, and certainly not at those rates. I felt like I was getting away with something! I enjoyed the steam room, had a delightful snacky supper in the Gothic chic lounge, and slept like a corpse! It's all in the decor, and in the details. Little things like turndown service with complimentary cookies, little pots of milk and cream in the mini fridge instead of powdered creamer, fancy bathroom for the restaurant.

I really had to reach to find something I didn't like, and all I can come up with is the smell of truffle oil in the restaurant. I strongly dislike it, but I got over it.

Right at the reception desk the staff were very friendly and helpful. Ryan in particular was great! The room was a good size which included a large bed, desk with chair, a large comfy chair and two stools located with the "bar" setup. A Nespresso machine and mini-fridge were included in this setup. Snacks and beverages could be purchased if you wanted. The room was serviced every morning with new towels provided and the bed made up. A turn-down service took place in the evening along with two cookies which was a nice touch. Staff would come around to provide ice and replenish coffee pods, sugar, cream, etc. for making coffee. I had brunch in the restaurant which was very good. The restaurant itself is high quality. Overall the staff was certainly a bonus. It was nice to be welcomed back in the evening after being out.

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, central location. Superb dining in the lounge and restaurant. Spacious room. Graciously allowed us to check in very early at no costs. Super large comfy bed, tall ceilings, balcony, lots of storage space. Daily water and cookies. Attentive house keeping. Looooved this hotel.

The hotel is a bit dated in terms of interior decor if the room and bathrooms. The room feels a bit tired. A renovation can make this hotel one of the best in the world. Our room was only in the 3rd floor so we had some noise from street.

The location of the hotel couldn't be better. It was walking distance to the ferries and the main shopping area. We walked about 2 minutes down the street to a lovely breakfast restaurant. The staff at the desk were so helpful with suggestions for places to go and see. We were recommended to go to Granville island and advise the most scenic was to get there. The room was a good size, lovely and the bed was very comfortable.

Our breakfast wasn't included and the breakfast in the hotel was expensive.

Unparalleled Service! Every Member Of The WedgeWood Was Splendid To Interact with Polite Cordial and Super Pleasant. The Decour was very European and was Exceptional All things complimented each other warmly. From the late Checkout to the simple requests handled promptly and Valet we were so well taken care of They even checked in on us to provide help with our baggage upon leaving! A wonderful welcome to a pleasant send off left us above satisfeied!

Having a short stay. Look forward to being up a bit higher for a more panoramic view!

This is a wonderful, full service luxury hotel with a focus on service. My room was large and had a great bathtub, excellent water pressure for the shower and a really comfortable bed. The staff really focus on no questions asked quality service and the location is perfect in the center of downtown Vancouver. I got a great deal from booking.com but even at full price this is probably worth it. Oh ... and the restaurant, Bacchus, has been one of the tops in the city for years.

I dunno ... parking is expensive I guess? but this is Vancouver ... what do you expect?

The hotel is lovely and our room was spacious and comfortable with the amenities needed to make it work well. The staff, however, is what really makes this hotel so wonderful. We stayed two nights and then took the Rocky Mountaineer train to Banff. I realized the night after we left that I couldn’t find something that has no monetary value but means the world to me emotionally. I thought I may have dropped it in the hotel room. I called the Wedgewood and the phone was answered by a lovely man and I could hear his empathy and concern for me in his voice. He immediately sent housekeeping up to look for the object. He called me back and was very upset when he told me they had not found it. I subsequently found it in a hidden place in my suitcase so all was well, (and I called them back to let them know) but his concern was typical of the staff. Very caring and wonderful people! Breakfast, BTW, is outstanding. The location is perfect.

The rooms and beds are perfect, a treat. Strong blackout curtains. Staff is very nice.

There’s nowhere to park comfortably. The staff tries to be so accommodating that they make you feel uncomfortable, a burden. You can’t do anything by yourself. Someone has to do it for you and then you end up spending lots of money on tips. Breakfast was not as high quality as one would expect at a hotel of this price. We ordered a cup of fruit for $9 and it literally came with two pieces of melon and two of pineapple. Bagel and lox didn’t have a good bagel. Etc. Also, you can hear some noise from the street in the rooms- sirens and such. We travel with a noise machine so it didn’t end up being such a problem.
