Every thing and everyone perfect location for exploring Vancouver very close to the train station so no problem getting here from the airport. Lovely rooms super showers x breakfast was delicious

Not really the property but the tipping is so confusing for us Europeans. We are not sure what to do how much to leave .. and it kind of takes away from staying in nice places as you feel you are paying rather than rewarding good service as you feel you have to leave tips even at breakfast which I have never done before but I stress it’s my first time in Canada and I am unsure …

Bed v comfy. Facilities good. (Restaurant/swim deck/gym). Service fantastic

What the hotel doesn't tell you is that each room's hvac (fan heater/cooler) system is as old as the hotel (built 2004). Notably noisy, interrupts sleep as the system turns on & off to regulate temperature. Sounds like you are sleeping next to a ships engine room. So the hotel has retrofitted electric fireplaces in some rooms to provide a quiet heating option. If you stay in the winter, get a room with a fireplace. If you go in the heat of summer when ac will be needed. don't go. Pity. It's the only thing not right about the place.

The L’ Hermitage Hotel was a perfect stay for my wife and I. The staff are very accommodating, so very pleasant which topped off an already pleasurable stay. The hotel is close BC Place, Canada Place and not too far from Gastown. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious with nice very nice bathroom facilities. A hot tub and lap pool are outside on a private level where a restaurant and sitting area are. The hotel is tucked into three floors of a high-rise condominium tower which makes one feel very comfortable and makes it almost more cozy and quiet, which we really liked. Great location as well and we can’t say enough good things about the staff; a perfect location for couples!

Very kind and attentive staff. We were upgraded. Very pretty boutique hotel. Our room was clean and spacious. The bed was cozy. The restaurant was peaceful and cozy. We had breakfast there and the food was divine. The service stellar. I had the Veggie Eggs Benedict and my husband the Avacado Smash with a poached egg in top. Both were flavourful and fresh—eggs done to perfection. We went to the lap pool. Very pretty! The green tile of the pool was a refreshing change from the standard blue of a pool! Many towels, comfy bath robes! Divine! Bravo.👏

The coffee machine! It was difficult to use and there was only two coffee pods! There was no kettle. No real cream but fake milk. This did not meet the high standard of what we had experienced in this hotel.

Staff was absolutely lovely and helpful every time we interacted with them. Valentine's day treat put in our room was a nice touch. The parking lot felt secure and safe, didn't worry about our car while we went out about town. Location was very convenient to everything we wanted to get to. While there was a little bit of city noise through the windows, overall the room was very quiet and we had no issue sleeping.

The only thing I didn't love was the pod type coffee machine in the room. I know they're very popular now, but I miss the drip coffee machines that don't much so much noise :(

Everything was lovely - from the friendly staff who greeted us with a smile to the room -we were upgraded on arrival and appreciated the extra room and comfort that the suite gave us. We tried both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and both were excellent- high quality food and for a very good price.

A very small thing - the hairdryer was not great for blow waving as it didn’t have a nozzle for styling. This seems to be the case for some hotels which is unfortunate for us ladies who need to blow wave their hair.

We stayed in 7 rooms and all were clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent and we got $10 discount/room for food at the restaurant upon check-in, so that was a plus. The pool and the gym, though small in size, were well equipped and met our needs. Staff had been extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, from booking taxis to accommodating with our changes and last minute adjustment. Location was hard to beat, right between Robson and W Georgia, plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops, not to mention that it is right next to Medina, a popular brunch cafe.

I loved, first and foremost, the connection we maintained with the staff. Everyone was kind, courteous, and helpful. The hotel is boutique sized, and well appointed, which I appreciate. A doorman, flowers in the lobby, two persons on the desk at all times...a lovely experience for us as first time visitors in this lovely city. Our room had a full bath, wonderful.

The outside patio was a bit overlooked, sadly.

I thought the hotel staff were incredible. They were attentive and friendly. The facilities were clean and easy to navigate. The room was clean, beautiful, and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the room got quiet and dark. The tub was AMAZING and the shower pressure was spa quality. The restaurant was also very beautiful and my dinner and breakfast were both delicious. Honestly, this might be the best hotel I’ve stayed in.

"Fantastic Stay in the Heart of Vancouver!" From the moment I checked in, I received excellent and attentive service that made me feel genuinely special. The hotel’s location in central Vancouver was perfect, allowing easy access to many of the city’s top attractions. One of the highlights was the steam room in the men’s change room—it ran perfectly hot, which was exactly what I needed after a day of exploring. The outdoor pool and hot tub were fantastic bonuses, especially for a relaxing evening unwind. My room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. Breakfast was a treat, with delicious crepes that quickly became a morning favorite. And for a nightcap, the lounge serves an incredible Caesar cocktail. A+ all around—I would definitely stay here again!
