I was pleasantly surprised at my first stay here, and I'd definitely return. The location was safe and there are many food options nearby. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The mini kitchen came in handy. The pool was good for getting in a few laps, and I appreciated the fact there was both a dry and steam sauna (the steam one wasn't working at the time, but I'm glad to have it as an option). There was also a really nice garden to walk around. Overall, this was much more than I had expected!

The only drawback was the cleanliness of the room. While I can appreciate that the room was UV-sanitized, that's not the same as cleaning. The remote control was grimy, and there was a layer of dust on the lamp shades by the bed. There were hairs in the shower/tub. That's the only thing detracting from a perfect rating.

The location is well positioned near the main sporting stadium and positioned between the trendy Yaletown and the central shopping area. If you are up for a long walk, Stanley Park, while not close is walkable, and a very interesting walk at that. The unit was a good size well equiped, and very comortable. Staff well polite and very helpful.

Cost more than we had budgeted as we had to book at the last moment due to our original booking cancelling at the last moment due to water damage. Pool and sauna facilities are on the ground floor, and you need to walk through reception to access it. They do have a gym, only walking and running exercise machines outside the entrance to the pool, very exposed.

The customer service was fabulous made you feel like family. They went over and beyond holding our suit cases they went looking for my laundry stuff when I thought I had miss placed it.

The pool was cold and the hot tub was not hot it was warm

Rosedale was a very handy location. It had a very inviting entrance as we arrived. We were a bit early but after a long flight, the wonderful staff found us an available room immediately so we were able to go and rest. We were delighted with the space and that it was an apartment not just a hotel room. The kitchenette was a great bonus. Over a 6 week holiday we had reason to book 3 hotels for a few nights each. I wished we had as stayed here each time. We loved the convenience of the attached restaurant and made use of the happy hour. The convenience to the places we wanted to go around the city made our stay very easy. Vancouver hotel prices shocked us however this price was the best for location and comfort.

The location for the hotel was amazing!!! So much to do right outside your door. Very walker friendly. The garden area on the 2nd floor was lovely and our room had such a fantastic view!! Beds were super comfortable. Housekeeping (Natasha I believe was our main housekeeper) was great and even made sure a beloved stuffy was sitting on the bed waiting for our return from our day. We loved our stay. Restaurant on site was nice to have as well. Good food and hours.

Concierge was not that helpful. Felt a little rude to my question to be honest. So after the first day did not ask any further questions. All the other staff was great to interact with including front desk, housekeeping, and the bell hop. The gym area could use at least some free weights added.

The size of the room was good. Rooms, facilities and areas have been renovated with fresh coat of paint.

The continental breakfast was very basic and because of the booking.com rate, breakfast was not free of charge; it is an additional CAD 22.00 per person. The parking facility is ok, however, a 3rd day was charged, even when the car was parked only for 1 1/2 days and was returned on the third day in the morning, before the 1pm cutoff. The message to make sure "the cutoff at 1pm is enforced" was not provided by the reception. No mercy and we had to pay CAD 22.00 for the extra day. Additional note, the hotel is dated - it celebrated its 30 years anniversary and the wear and tear can be seen almost everywhere.

Friendly reception. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we only had the one night here but the kitchenette facilities and living room area would have for a great longer stay. We were on the Rocky Mountaineer the following morning and one of their hotel pick ups (The Hampton Inn) was very close and easily walkable even with 3 suitcases. Would highly recommend the hotel.

All hotels in Vancouver are on the pricey side. The adjoining restaurant where we had a quick bite wasn’t as great.

It is in a good location on the east side of downtown, just a couple blocks from several sky train stations. The parking was convenient and cheaper than other downtown hotels. I like the layout of the rooms, where you have a little living room with a sofa, bed, then a kitchenette in the middle, then a main bedroom with a window. The staff are always very congenial there. I’ve stayed there before.

I think they could put a bit more effort into the exercise equipment. I don’t think having a lot of weight lifting equipment is important, but I think a variety of cardio machines, away from the main public eye, would be important, especially when you’re staying there for a week of business.

We had a king suite which had large ceiling to floor windows so we could look at the beautiful city view and sunshine while lying in bed. A small window opened which was lovely for fresh air. It was nice to have a full kitchenette so we could do some light food preparation in the evenings/early morning before restaurants opened. Excellent location close to everything and transit. Comfortable bed and pillows. Two TVS so we could each watch different things :). Shower had great water pressure. Staff were amazing and very friendly and welcoming each time we returned to the hotel after walking around. I really appreciated that the most!

The swimming pool was extremely cold and the hot tub jets did not work well :( which was really disappointing because we booked this hotel for the pool/hot tub facilities. Living room part of the suite was very dark even with all the lights on.

Our deluxe suite with two double had a large bedroom, with a separate lounge & kitchen area, and was far bigger than we expected. The kitchen are is well equipped if you want to self cater. Also, there is a tv in the bedroom and another in the living area. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay here. Close to downtown attractions like BC Stadium, Rogers Arena and Science World, also close if you want to cross Cambie Bridge to get to the other side of False Creek. Considering the fairly busy area, our room was nice and quiet. The pool area looks quite good, however we did not actually use it. All the staff were very pleasant during our stay, and the onsite bar/restaurant seems nice, even though we only had a drink in there, no food.

Nothing really to dislike. Our only comment would be that overall the hotel is a little dated, and the rooms are probably due an overhaul, This did not affect our stay at all though. More sockets near the beds would be good, and maybe some USB sockets.
