I was pleasantly surprised at my first stay here, and I'd definitely return. The location was safe and there are many food options nearby. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The mini kitchen came in handy. The pool was good for getting in a few laps, and I appreciated the fact there was both a dry and steam sauna (the steam one wasn't working at the time, but I'm glad to have it as an option). There was also a really nice garden to walk around. Overall, this was much more than I had expected!

The only drawback was the cleanliness of the room. While I can appreciate that the room was UV-sanitized, that's not the same as cleaning. The remote control was grimy, and there was a layer of dust on the lamp shades by the bed. There were hairs in the shower/tub. That's the only thing detracting from a perfect rating.

The location is well positioned near the main sporting stadium and positioned between the trendy Yaletown and the central shopping area. If you are up for a long walk, Stanley Park, while not close is walkable, and a very interesting walk at that. The unit was a good size well equiped, and very comortable. Staff well polite and very helpful.

Cost more than we had budgeted as we had to book at the last moment due to our original booking cancelling at the last moment due to water damage. Pool and sauna facilities are on the ground floor, and you need to walk through reception to access it. They do have a gym, only walking and running exercise machines outside the entrance to the pool, very exposed.

The customer service was fabulous made you feel like family. They went over and beyond holding our suit cases they went looking for my laundry stuff when I thought I had miss placed it.

The pool was cold and the hot tub was not hot it was warm

It is in a good location on the east side of downtown, just a couple blocks from several sky train stations. The parking was convenient and cheaper than other downtown hotels. I like the layout of the rooms, where you have a little living room with a sofa, bed, then a kitchenette in the middle, then a main bedroom with a window. The staff are always very congenial there. I’ve stayed there before.

I think they could put a bit more effort into the exercise equipment. I don’t think having a lot of weight lifting equipment is important, but I think a variety of cardio machines, away from the main public eye, would be important, especially when you’re staying there for a week of business.

Well equipped, good views, great location easy walk to gas town, downtown ferry and Stanley park. Staff very helpful, easy to find for pickup with hire car

Bedroom could have been bigger

We had a king suite which had large ceiling to floor windows so we could look at the beautiful city view and sunshine while lying in bed. A small window opened which was lovely for fresh air. It was nice to have a full kitchenette so we could do some light food preparation in the evenings/early morning before restaurants opened. Excellent location close to everything and transit. Comfortable bed and pillows. Two TVS so we could each watch different things :). Shower had great water pressure. Staff were amazing and very friendly and welcoming each time we returned to the hotel after walking around. I really appreciated that the most!

The swimming pool was extremely cold and the hot tub jets did not work well :( which was really disappointing because we booked this hotel for the pool/hot tub facilities. Living room part of the suite was very dark even with all the lights on.

Our deluxe suite with two double had a large bedroom, with a separate lounge & kitchen area, and was far bigger than we expected. The kitchen are is well equipped if you want to self cater. Also, there is a tv in the bedroom and another in the living area. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay here. Close to downtown attractions like BC Stadium, Rogers Arena and Science World, also close if you want to cross Cambie Bridge to get to the other side of False Creek. Considering the fairly busy area, our room was nice and quiet. The pool area looks quite good, however we did not actually use it. All the staff were very pleasant during our stay, and the onsite bar/restaurant seems nice, even though we only had a drink in there, no food.

Nothing really to dislike. Our only comment would be that overall the hotel is a little dated, and the rooms are probably due an overhaul, This did not affect our stay at all though. More sockets near the beds would be good, and maybe some USB sockets.

The Rosedale on Robson is perfectly situated whether you’re in town to take in a game at Roger’s or BC Place—both of which a mere hop and a skip from the hotel—or enjoying the vibrant dining scene at Yaletown located two blocks away, or gallivanting up and down Granville for that quintessential Vancouver city center experience. Gen X and older travelers would consider the hotel’s aesthetics as being stuck in the past, what with its late 80s/early 90s room decor while Millenials and the younger generation may appreciate the look as retro-chic. One thing all ages would agree upon is the lack of access to electrical outlets upon which we have come to rely in hotel rooms. Housekeeping service, the oft under-appreciated element of a multi-day visit, was excellent. The mini kitchen is aptly supplied, the refrigerator is very spacious, and the complimentary use of hotel branded umbrellas made traipsing around town on rainy days more than tolerable. The friendliness of the hotel staff is the undisputed highlight and appeared effortless. Overall, I strongly recommend and look forward to staying at this hotel on future trips.

The suites were well equipped with desks, chairs, a couch, a kitchenette with a large fridge (!), microwave, coffeemaker and electric kettle, alarm clock, 2 tvs with a sleep timer, big window with one window to vent. The bathroom was clean and well appointed, towels were fluffy, plenty of hand soap, shampoo, body wash and conditioner and a blow dryer. The shower worked smoothly (You must pull down on the tub spigot to turn it on - illustration on the wall). Toilet is a little close to the wall it faces - would be snug for a tall person. Bathroom separates the living room from the bedroom. FYI: there are 3 switches next to the door. The top switch controls electricity to all the lights, the other 2 control the wall and table lamps in the room.

Outlets! Where are they? This is an older hotel that could use an electrical update to accommodate all the electronic devices we use today. Luckily, we had just come off a cruise and had brought our own grounded multi use outlet extender to get everything ready for our trip home. Lately, most hotels have a least traded the table lamps for those with a USB port in the base, not in this case. The Living room was dark - only table or wall lamps.

The staff was very kind and helpful. I ended up in a suite due to a last minute change of plans. The suite came with a kitchen, fridge, coffee machine and other amenities such as a small living room that was helpful to take work calls on zoom. The view is nice and the room had an enormous window which was great at night with all city lights. The location is convenient if you are getting there from the airport and need to hang out nearby the harbor area which is approx. 10-15 mins walking distance. Many restaurants and bars nearby.

Design of the rooms could be updated, room keys were hit or miss and you need to really get the timing right to open the door.
