We stayed at Smithe House when we were going to a concert at BC Place. The location was perfect for us. It was a quick walk to the stadium! There was a nice little woodfire pizza restaurant just a few minutes walk away. They upgraded us and our room was fantastic... modern and clean with all of the appliances you could need, a shower with nice water pressure, the most comfortable bed and pillows, and even a private balcony! They were even thoughtful enough to ask what coffee we would prefer. You don't need to check in at a desk. Everything is done via text/email. We paid for private secure parking in their garage...highly recommended! Their communication is the absolute best. We spoke with them several times before and during our stay. We highly recommend Smithe House and will hopefully get to stay there again soon!

There is nothing we didn't like.

Loved the place! It was our 7th time visiting Vancouver. So we've stayed at a lot of places in the past and can compare. Absolutely loved the Smithe House. Everything at the room/apartment is very well thought out, you have everything you need (*even umbrellas for the rainy Vancouver!). The staff is extremely helpful and nice, they were always available if we needed any help or support. So definitely happy with the stay 10/10.

Maybe have some more clear instructions for check in/out and cleaning

The location is great. The suites are new. Honestly it was a positive experience. Just be aware this is not a hotel - it is a serviced apartment. There is no front desk, no concierge, and no room service but you do have a kitchenette and in room laundry machines.

Our only two complaints are this: 1) Both the dishwasher and washing machine were not yet working during our stay. Just make sure they are working in your unit when you first check in if this is something important that is important to you. They did offer to come fix ours but it was about the time of checkout and we only stayed one night. 2) The toilet paper roll provided is very cheap. Perhaps leaving a second roll along with upgrading to a slightly better version would be appreciated.

Smithe House has apartments, not hotel rooms; modern, very tastefully designed and decorated apartments in a great location in Vancouver. I was very comfortable there, as if I were in my own home. I've stayed in s I Mr of the best hotels ND enjoy being pampered. But Smithe House was perfectly tight for Vancouver. I recommend it without reservation ( tho m as ke sure you have one!).

The only thing I wish they had in t he apt was a map of the neighborhood so one knows where there's a drug store, coffee house, supermarket etc.

Loved the location- it’s been a long time since we were in downtown for longer than a specific attendance to a concert, game or event. Was nice to get reacquainted with the city.

I am quite short and found it difficult to reach the cupboards- would suggest moving the glassware to the bottom shelf and putting dishes in the drawers. Also, the couch was in the way of opening up the dishwasher, but when we tried to move the couch without wrinkling the carpet, it kinda fell apart on us.

Very cute layout. Nicely designed. I wished the kitchen had a few more essentials, the gym was too small and very bare bones, like that it was 24hours. Also missing a few essentials as well. Ie. Mats etc. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

Staff-owners, quiet, comfort , pillows, location is near events and many dining choices , cleanliness.

Could not figure out how to get local TV. Everything seemed to be streaming. Not that we watched a lot of TV anyway. Small inconvenience. Pretty expensive due to local events taking place at time of stay.

The room was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. The location was walking distance to Rogers Arena/BC Place and some of the best restaurants, coffee shops and shopping locations!

Could not make the coffee machine to work. Needed toothpaste, but there was none and also there was no body to ask.

Luxurious, very modern and tastefully decorated. Excellent kitchen facilities with high quality fittings and crockery.
