1. The location (you can literally go anywhere using public transport from here and all the cool things to explore in downtown are within walking distance from here) 2. Breakfast (love their strategy of not having a buffet and giving a choice of one proper breakfast meal per person and up to 4 kids under 12 free with a single paying adult). Wowww 3. The toiletries are all by Dove and full sized bottles. Great stuff. 4. The room has a keurig, a kettle, a mini fridge and a microwave. All of it helped me so much.

The professionalism of the staff. They were nice but not very professional looking and raw with their conversations.

Upon arrival we were really tired. I was not happy to find we were on the 2nd floor, our friends on the 3rd floor and the others on the 6th floor. However we accepted it, but then we went to leave the lift and found about ten stairs we had to get down with our heavy luggage. Good news is after contacting the front desk they were able to transfer us to another room with no stairs and on the 4th floor and the staff member who came to give us our new access card helped us with the luggage. The bed was large and very comfortable with us falling asleep quickly each night.

The stairs obviously (not a problem if you light luggage or are young and fit. No sign in the lift to tell you what was on what floor. Although there were about four lamps in the room I found the lightning wasn't great for me at my age.

Nice smaller hotel, excellent location for access to BC Place which is why we chose this location. Staff were really great and managed busy check in and check out with smiles, also accommodated our luggage storage requests before check in and after checkout. The room was small but newly renovated and clean with comfortable bed and nice bedding.

This is an older hotel with small rooms, small elevators etc. Our King room with sofa bed had a very small bathroom/vanity area. Not a problem for us but worth noting if you have more than 2 people in a room.

Great location, the family room was awesome as a family of 5. Having a single bed in an attached room was a huge suprise and very welcomed. Staff all very friendly.

When I booked through booking.com, it said breakfast was included. However, it is that kids 12 and under are free and adults get two vouchers. Our kids are 9, 13 and 15, so we had to buy theirs seperately. That is booking.coms issue with incorrect info at least according to the staff. Ideally correct this as it was an extra expense we weren't expecting.

The bed was very comfortable. Service was quick. we needed more coffee pods, and they sent someone up straight away. The location was nice for walking, Parking was mostly covered, only about 6 spots were rained on, we were able to find a different place to park. Some of the spots are tight though.

For the price, I would have liked better toilet tissue. The lobby makes you feel so fancy and then you step inside your room and you see that it's just a regular hotel. Our balcony was an afterthought. Yes, there wasn't a view, but it was a bit of a downer when you can tell no one signed off on their work.

The service was great. Everyone from the front desk, to housekeeping, to folks in the bar/restaurant. Everyone was very welcoming and wonderful. The location is excellent. Close to everything we like to do. Parking was easy as well, with unlimited in/out privileges. The price is expensive for other cities, but on par with what you would pay in Vancouver for a place like this. The Holiday Inn & Suites Vancouver Downtown will definitely be on our list for best places to stay.

The price was expensive compared to other locations. But the amenities and service was definitely worth it.

The location was perfect! We liked the way it was decorated for the holidays! It was easy to get to and from all the landmarks we wanted to visit.

The rooms are super close to each other and you can hear people in the rooms next door or in the hallways. Also windows did not block outside noise very well. I stayed in the room with my kids and had to make them walk on tippy toes and hush them all the time. They were awake early for the vacation due to hallway noise and thinking someone is at our door trying to get in.

Location was good - right in downtown around the corner from Granville. Short walk to Rogers Arena , Robson, and Gastown. The hotel was very clean and the lobby/bar/restaurant area is very nice. Room was much larger than expected and the bedding was comfortable. Check-in was easy, and there is a lot of parking on site (although you do have to pay for it).

We were put in a room right across from the elevator which was quite noisy with foot traffic all day and night. We had a little one with us and the noise kept waking him up. When asked if we could change rooms we were told we couldn't. Also - this is more an FYI for travelers - Granville in this area has gotten quite bad. I used to live in Vancouver and still visit often; Granville used to be quite nice to walk down but not so much anymore. I would have no issues walking alone, but with my wife and baby it was an uncomfortable walk with all the drug use, run down buildings, and aggressive street people. We chose to avoid it when we could.

See above. TV in room had issues. RM 225. Requested a higher up floor and was given second floor. Noisy as near street level. Maids were rather loud in the hallway in the morning.

The staff were amazing. Always helpful and friendly. We had an issue with our friends mobility walker. The staff called the maintenance area and they attempted to fix it for us.

The building was under renovations so there was no convenient ice machine. Also when checking out, we found an umbrella under the med and another article under the sleeper sofa. It made me wonder what kind of ‘cleaning’ really took Jace in between guests.
