Rooms are super comfy, beds amazing. Having free water, coffee and tea is nice. Staff are lovely without exception.

There is a lot of construction around the area and it can be a bit noisy.

My husband and I stayed at The Burrard for two nights. We had an excellent stay! The front desk personnel from check-in, throughout our stay and even after check-out were extremely friendly, polite and very helpful. We had room #323 with a garden view. It was very clean and comfortable. It was nice having the coffee/tea service, refrigerator in the room and bottles of water each day as well as cleaning our room. There were non-alcoholic drinks as well as snacks at night in the lobby. We didn’t get a chance to sit in the garden area but it looked nice. The hotel is centrally located and there are many restaurants near by including one off the lobby and one next door. There is a vintage vibe to the hotel. We didn’t have any noise issues. There is paid laundry in the basement, a ping pong table and free bikes to use. I definitely recommend staying at The Burrard while in Vancouver!

One suggestion is to have a small ramp to wheel luggage into the lobby and perhaps doors that open automatically.

Charming location with amazing value in Vancouver. Close to Davie St which is a lively and fun neighborhood. Really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. Staff was friendly and helpful. Accommodations were updated and clean. Their little parking lot is right under the hotel but fill fast so book it early.

It was very loud due to construction, even though we requested an internal quiet room. There isn't much to be done, with external city noises at play including a hospital, so pack ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The bottom sheet didn't quite fit on the mattress, so the mattress padding was showing. Please use another sheet so it can all fit!

The quant 1960's style hotel is located in the heart of downtown, just minutes away from Coal Harbor and Gastown. Many great eateries surround the local area, dotted with many parks, this is the best place to stay within budget and get a fully immersive stay of Vancouver. 10/10 WILL REBOOK!

The weather was nice while I was there, but it was slightly chilly at night, and the heater was either ineffective or didn't turn on. Thankfully the blankets were nice and thick, but hopefully for winter travelers there is heating.

Overall, we liked the Burrard. The location is great, right downtown within walking distance of the Granville Market (via Aquabus), on a bus route, and with a trolley tour stop just down the street. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We loved the open atrium in the center with the beautiful tropical garden. Our room was plain but very functional; the bed was quite comfortable. Plenty of good food choices were available within a block or two walk.

The portable AC unit took up a bit of space in the room, but it was quiet and efficient.

The Burrard was the best place we stayed on our recent trip to Canada. The location was central to almost everything. We walked to the waterfront, to the false creek ferries, to Gastown and to Stanley Park with no problem. Plenty of restaurants and art galleries within walking distance too. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The internal courtyard was very secure. Our room was serviced daily. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Having a coffee shop and a great restaurant right on site was very convenient too. Loved our stay here!

The location was perfect. Walkable to most things. Transit nearby if needed. The neighborhood was safe at all hours. The bed was comfortable, the TV worked and the bathroom was nice. Having a bathtub was a plus. The front desk and room cleaning staff were charming and helpful.

Our stay was fantastic. Two little things: The conditioner bottle in the shower was out of conditioner. The coffeemaker would not turn off. Once it started making a cup of coffee, it just kept going and going. Turning it off was the only was to stop it.

I liked the mini fridge with bottled water, coffee and tea station, kettle, 55 inch flat screen TV, internet, cable vision, writing desk, chair, good lighting, comfortable beds, A/C for hot weather, radiant heating, curtains, pillows, room safe, full length mirror, closet, hangers, ironing board, iron, luggage rack, shower with liquid soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner. Great location in downtown Vancouver across from St. Pauls Hospital that has secure 24 hr underground parking. The hotel has a bonus outdoor lounge area with fire pit and use of bicycles. The room was very clean and the hotel also provides secure parking. There’s a coffee shop and restaurant next door. The hotel is close to parks and beaches. Value for the money. Great helpful staff.

Great location! The free bike rentals were a bonus, especially to tour Stanley Park and stop at the beaches near by. Close to restaurants and the Aquabus to get to Grandville Island. Capilano free bus was a few blocks away, Canada Place and other tourist attractions.

Room cleanliness, sheets had some stains and the floor was not swept, we had sand everywhere. Bathroom sink is small and I never feel comfortable using shelves over the toilet to place my toothbrush.

The Burrard was very clean and the staff was friendly. I liked the retro design of the building. I liked that it had a cafe attached to it and it is on a main street that leads to the shopping.

We were only at the Burrard for one night before leaving on a cruise. Our stay amounted to about 12 hours and I felt it was quite expensive. Though the room was very clean, it was extremely small and I do not care for having a dehumidifier type machine taking up most of the space on one side of the room.
