I booked into the Sky Residence Club for 4 days beginning June 3 to 7. On June 3rd I received an email indicating that 7 units were flooded and that I needed to seek accommodation else where and they would reimburse me for the difference. I stayed at the Merritt and sent Sky Residence Club a bill for $1,274.29. They told me that Booking.com was responsible for the refund. I sent the documentation to Booking.com and responded that $1,274.29 would be credited to my wallet. Funds would be available in 10-15 days. I check my booking wallet and it read "Your booking didn't qualify for this reward as it was cancelled, or your visit was incomplete, or it didn't meet our promotional conditions." I feel SCAMMED and will be suing Booking.com in Small Claims Court. Dr. PHIH

Great location, great facilities and amenities.

I have some points to complain about: we were received by a Japanese woman with a very good attitude and very kind, but the day after that, my parents had a problem with their key and when they asked for help, another woman who seemed like Chinese attending during the night, with a very bad face went up to the room to help them, her annoyance at helping the guests was noticeable. Another bad experience was that the cleaning lady took my thermos while washing the dishes and didn't return it. I didn't complain because the thermos was old and I did not mind leaving it, but that's completely unacceptable.

Good check-in process with helpful and friendly staff. Nice looking facilities, clean, well-maintained and stocked. Very good buffet breakfast (I chose the price that included a breakfast). Pool and exercise rooms looked nice but I didn't use them. Parking garage was convenient option that I paid an extra $35 for. They allow you to stay there until 5pm after you check out at 11am, you also have in and out privileges so you don't have to just leave it there.

We had a room directly across from the elevators, so we kept hearing the dings and people coming and going while try to sleep. I get it that someone has to be near an elevator, but if you have a room there you should set things up such that those noises are mitigated, like a wall blocking noise or better sound insulation on the room door (large gap at floor had to be blocked by a rolled up towel). Like all hotels I've stayed at, you can hear people moving chairs above you and water pipes in walls, nothing overly bad or good about the sound insulation, pretty standard. Overall a good stay and I would stay there again (if I get a good deal, this one was a bit pricier than others).

Complimentary breakfast was very good, the space, the options, everything. The room was nice, it would have been nice to have a better view other than construction, we could hear the construction. I loved the location, a lot quieter than dt.

Didn't have a top floor or a room with a view. That was a let down. I would have liked a robe and slippers for the rec room and pool area. My mom noticed our bathroom had a urine smell that was consistent, maybe look into the ventilation system? No ice on our floor, maybe have it on every second floor. The hot tub could have been a little hotter as well.

The breakfast arrangement and offerings were excellent. I would have added bacon to the menu. The system for ensuring the safety of the upper floors was also excellent.

I had to book two nights because my flight for second day was late. I believe more should have been done from a 2nd day cost perspective because I only needed 5 more hours beyond checkout time. Maybe a 50 percent charge versus full day rate, I didn't need breakfast, towels, bedding only a comfortable place to wait. And the room was very comfortable.

From check in to our departure, we could not have asked for a better experience in relation to customer service and cleanliness. The ladies at the front desk were so incredibly helpful and kind, going out of their way to accomodate a need that I did not specify in our reservation. The breakfast had a few different items each day we were there, and staff members were always there cleaning and refilling stations. Plus the food was good - not like most complimentary breakfasts. The pool area was clean, never overly crowded even though the hotel was sold out, making it nice to have a quick swim and soak in the hot tub. Our room was fantastic - kitchen had all the perks (full size refrigerator, 2 burners, dishwasher, sink, microwave, dishes, silverware), plus our view overlooked the city - it was beautiful! Our only complaint was the bed because it was a little to firm for us. However, some people may like that. To top it off, it is in the perfect location to walk to great restaurants, shopping, and the airtrain. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you everyone there form making this a great anniversary getaway for us!

Everything, the breakfast was exceptional the room was a suite with a small balcony which I wasn't expecting. I was very very happy with the whole experience. The staff went over and above to be helpful in every respect I won't hesitate to go there again. Loved it.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. However, I was just one person I think it would be a bit tight for more than a couple..

Beyond my expectation, big suites with full eminities(wash disher, toster, freezer,…) 1 min from bus stop, in front of711 marker, 15 min by walking to burrard central station, pretty close to Robson square, reception guys were so nice and welcoming, gave me free early check in, breakfast was great, memorable stay, strongly recommended

Perfect location, near to the metro, with bus stops and restaurants a short walk away. The room with the mini kitchen was just what we needed to make our stay feel more like home. The hotel breakfast buffet had a great selection of western breakfast items, overall a great stay.

There was an additional fee for late check-out, considering the length of time requested I felt like payment should have been waived.

This was our first stop on our Canada family holiday. Good location in the city. Comfortable rooms. Good to have the kitchenette facilities and fridge. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Included breakfast was good. Kids loved the waffles. Helpful friendly staff.

We had a double quèen room as we are travelling with our two teens. Would be good to have family rooms for travelling with kids. Others in our group had the King rooms which looked very nice and comfortable. The breakfast buffet finished so early (9.30 on week days) we missed it the first day- for people on holidays and travelling internationally it was a bit early to be enjoyable.
