The view, the space, the fridge and everything about the room. We are returning in 10 nights and would love to stay in the same room if available

The hop on and off bus wasted nearly a whole day of our time in Vancouver. Cheaper and more efficient et to use a taxi. A complete rip off ( but hotel may not know this)

My room was lovely, large and comfortable. Hotel location was very good. View very nice. Value for money difficult to assess. I didn't choose to pay such a high price, and thus had no particular expectations. But that was what was available. I was happy with the accommodation and hotel but it was much more expensive than I would normally expect to pay. This may be Canada, per se, it may have something to do with the marathon, which I had not realised was taking place during my stay.

I didn't like the fact that 200 CAD was added to my credit card - to be refunded after my stay. I am used to a credit card number being taken by hotels in case of incidentals, meals etc. but here the amount was actually charged upfront. This causes even more expense on top of the already expensive accommodation costs as, with an international credit card, extra fees are incurred for these transactions. This policy could well mean I do not stay at this hotel again. Also, I was aware the hotel only had a breakfast cafe, and there are plenty of places to dine nearby. But I would have expected at least a bar in the hotel. When travelling alone, it is nice to have a hotel bar to use rather than go out.

The room I booked was the King suite with the bay view. It was very roomy and comfortable with a great view. I was concerned initially because my room/door was right in front of the elevator, but it was perfectly quiet so no worries. The room was very clean and spacious. The gym was small but adequate. The pool and hot tub were also nice. The restaurant was perfect for breakfasts and I loved the location of the hotel on a popular commercial street, not too far from the art museum. Lots of restaurants and shopping right there so no need to drive around or try to get a bus. The road was being worked on, so traffic was limited to one direction, so GPS was out of sorts a bit, but otherwise it was actually nice because even though the roadwork looked messy, there were hardly any cars parked or going down the street. Overall, I enjoyed staying at this hotel a lot. It was perfect for my needs.

The parking garage is a little tight fitting into some of the spots. And on the top level you need to be careful because it is not well lit at night. I wound up getting into a little fender-bender with someone who was coming up the ramp behind me as I was turning around, because there is a bit of a blind spot. So take it slow.

Location was incredible! Clean, comfortable and quiet.

I wish parking was more secure (nothing happened to our vehicle but there were warning signs everywhere about high theft). The parkcade was not gated and was open to anyone, not just hotel guests.

We had a nice comfortable room with a great view in our favourite Vancouver hotel - this was our 5th stay here. The location is perfect with lots of attractions and places to eat nearby and tour buses stop right outside. The staff are extremely helpful as always. The Adobe cafe next to the lobby serves excellent breakfasts, just what's neded to start a day of sightseeing.

From check in to check out, I was very impressed with the sincerity and professionalism of the staff. Nothing was a problem. Every need or request I had was attended to immediately. The location was excellent. It was my first time in Vancouver. I was there to board a ship on the 19th. I was so impressed with the hotel and the city; I wish I had stayed on at the hotel and skipped the cruise! To me, customer service is of the utmost importance. Too many businesses spend money to get you into their establishment. Once you're in, there is no service. There is also a difference when someone is walking thru the paces of being polite, yet you feel you're putting them out. That was not the case at Blue Horizons. You were always greeted with a smile, and needs attended too!

I was upgraded to a one-bedroom suite. It was very beautiful. It was thoughtful and kind of them to do that. I felt a bit lost in there as it was so big! This is not a complaint. It was a very nice thing to do. Thank you!

Excellent location. So many wonderful places in or around hotel. Abode restaurant was wonderful right downstairs. It was easy to get in and out of the hotel. Several steps to the elevator down to the street level. Handicap door openers easy to press easy in and out, even though we’re not handicapped and don’t really need them, but it still made things a lot easier. Security was great because you needed to use the room card to go up the elevator. Nice to have a pool and sauna on the premises. Probably the best value for that area and for what you get. Very comfortable bed, clean, wonderful bedding, and huge fluffy pillows. Room service was great. Just a really great experience overall; if anyone ever asks, I will be happy to recommend this hotel. not as important, but amazing view out the balcony. It was also really nice to have a lovely private balcony. Also, the sitting area off to the side to watch TV was a great thought!

There really isn’t much I can genuinely criticize. Perhaps the entry foyer with the circular seating could use brighter colors or an upgrade? Just to make it more visually stunning because when you walk in, it doesn’t seem impressive based on what you see downstairs, but it’s amazing.

We love this hotel. It is very centrally located and within walking distance of interesting shops, excellent restaurants, city attractions and Stanley Park. Upon requesting a room with water views (if possible), we were kindly upgraded to a King Water View Suite on one of the top floors. Our room exceeded our expectations. It was large, spacious, well-decorated, comfortable and had fantastic views of English Bay and the beautiful surroundings of Vancouver. Our room had everything we wanted. Even the coffee was excellent! The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay here.

The location, room design, the ocean view, the wall of Windows, balcony, and sitting area made for a beautiful experience.

Parking. We have a standard sized truck but we didn’t even fit into the hotel/public parking that was next to the hotel. The concierge then informed us of another parking lot around the back which was slightly taller or that we could use street parking and move our vehicle around during the day to locations that were allowed. We just barely the other parking lot but there was no attached elevator to the hotel and there were people sleeping down there so safety and theft was a concern. We had to wheel our luggage up and over to the main hotel doors and then pay $30 a night for that parking.

Fantastic space in the room, we couldn't believe how big it was for the price. Great bathroom, lighting, aircon, balcony, and lounge area. Comfortable beds and a nespresso pod machine in the room. Hotel would give us extra pods whenever we asked. Cleaning staff were great, they'd ask us what we wanted done rather than just a whole redo of the room. Just an absolutely excellent stay and I will 100% go back. Check in.and check out was super simple online before we arrived at the hotel.

The gym doesn't have much at all, so we didn't use it tho we'd have loved to. A run did much better. The pool is smaller than the photos but looks good. The pool room was extremely hot though, we were sweating standing there. Lastly was the lift shaft must have backed onto our room so we heard them going 24/7, but I these were all minor things to complain about.
