Big rooms, best location we could ask, easy check in and check out. The morning coffee was lovely. I liked the bed and mattress (I had good sleep for 6 nights). I didn’t use the bikes but other guests seem to like them a lot. Lots of places to visit around or just going for a walk by the sea. Stanley park is 15 minutes away.

The bathroom wasn’t as clean as I expect from 4 star hotel (hairs in the bathroom when I checked in). The hotel would benefit from renovation (carpets, curtains) are quite old . Nothing mentioned in the booking but somehow I expected buffet breakfast, it was only the restaurant breakfast (there are lots of cafes around with same or better breakfast available).

All the staff were incredibly polite and the room was cleaned perfectly each day. The bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in and the room was incredibly spacious. The location of the hotel was excellent - Robson St is packed full of shops and restaurants so we was never short of stuff to do. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay very welcoming and pleasant.

Understandably maintenance and repairs need to happen now and again but it was slightly inconvenient that our water dispenser was undergoing maintenance on our floor. Takes slightly longer to take the lift up or down a floor with a couple jugs and a key card - but not all bad, the water dispenser was a great fixture to have/offer and we made use of it each night.

The staff was fantastic, friendly and eager to help at every turn. The art installations were such a nice touch. 3 free hours of electric assisted bikes. Filter water on every floor and glass water bottles kept us well hydrated during a heat wave. GREAT hike recommendations from the front desk. Swift valet service when we needed our car. A surprise treat of 2 cookies left in our car at checkout. All these special touches are virtually unheard of at this price point. The location is perfect. I was a travel agent for 27 years, and it was easily apparent that this is a very well run hotel. I would stay here again and again.

There wasn't a thing I didn't like.

Location - pretty good, near a shopping area and within walking distance to many restaurants and Stanley Park. Well connected to the bus network. Staff - very friendly and respectful. We arrived a couple of hours early, and the front desk found us a room that we could check into early. Facilities - I didn't use much of the facilities but the hotel offers free wine tastings in the evening, which I thought was a really nice perk. There was a water dispenser on my floor, which was appreciated as we didn't have to boil water every day or drink from the tap.

Can't think of anything! It was a really pleasant stay.

The hotel is beautiful with original artwork everywhere. The location is very convenient to Stanley Park and the sea walk-in both directions. The customer service is exceptional — if you book one of their “gallery” rooms, they bring hot French press coffee to your room each morning at no charge. We chose this hotel because of the 3 hours daily free e-bike useage, and that was fabulous.

The view from our room was not great. Looked out over a parking lot and nearby apartment buildings. Also, the e-bike checkout policy could be smoother. There are only 6 bikes and unless you book them in advance to use by 9 am or earlier, they have to be charged before they can go out again. The person at the desk couldn’t give an estimate of how long that might take and told us we needed to remain at the hotel while they were charging or risk losing them to another guest. She said she could not call us on our cell phone if we left to go get a pastry at a nearby breakfast place. It seems to me that you should be able to put your name on a waiting list with the understanding that your 3 hours begins as soon as the bikes are available.

Super friendly, helpful staff. Very comfy beds, excellent location (right in downtown, walking distance to Coal Harbour), free French press coffee delivered each morning, free e-bikes for three hours which we used to bike around the Stanley Park seawall and waterfront area (was one of the highlights of our whole trip). They also have free wine between 5-6pm but we didn't get to try as were too busy doing other things!

If you are bringing a car, overnight (valet) parking here is expensive and it is difficult to find other options. Minor item - The toilet and shower room was quite small (only just fits one person).

The location was fantastic! we liked the room, the art, the easily accessible filtered water. it was quiet and clean, and we liked having recycling and compost bins available.

The a/c made a loud “thunk” every time it turned on. There was no chain or peephole cover on the door. We wished there was a microwave. The parking was very expensive.

This is a fantastic hotel. It is very central to the downtown area and free shuttle buses to the Capilano bridge, good restaurants and Canada Place. The bed and pillows are heavenly. It was a very spacious room with a good shower and spotlessly clean. One of the things I loved most was it has filtered and sparkling water free on every floor of the hotel. We stayed for three nights and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It also had a 12 midday checkout time. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I was not a fan of the shower over the bath with a shower curtain, but it was a minor detail.

Excellent location with friendly staff and good quality services. The hotel is with an area that is full of restaurants and shops. It is also a walking distance to Stanley Park. It is accessible by car or bus. Staff are friendly and helpful. They have complementary still and sparkling water stations on my floor as well as complementary served-to-room coffee. Room service is also excellent 👌 Our room on the 5th floor has a nice view of the street and little view of the ocean, which was great to see in the mornings. They also had free wine tasting at 6 pm and free 3-hr rental of electric bicycle. My wife and I appreciate the nice art in the hotel. I also used their nice gym area. It is a highly recommended hotel for a short or long stay in Vancouver.

The hotel is relaxed and comfortable, not like a chain corporate hotel. The staff is friendly and responsive to any needs. Good location in Vancouver’s West End, not far from Stanley Park, Coal Harbor, and lots of dining options in walking distance. The artwork throughout the hotel is a nice touch, as are little perks like bottles to fill with still and sparkling water from dispensers on each floor, free 3 hour bike rental, and daily wine tastings. Our room was a good size and comfortable.

There unfortunately is no outside seating area except in the hotel’s restaurant. The rooms on the odd numbered side of the second floor face the front section of the building so there is no outside view. The hotel will be undergoing a major renovation soon (we were told they are closing in November 2024) so will be interesting to see how it changes the place.
