I had an excellent stay at the Loden Hotel. The experience felt very personalized and intimate, thanks in part to the hotel’s smaller size and warm atmosphere. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of always having water with citrus delivered — a small detail that made a big difference. The gym exceeded my expectations, both in terms of size and the quality of the equipment. Breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant, Tableau, was another highlight. This French restaurant offers food of truly excellent quality, making it a pleasure to start the day there. The location is superb — within walking distance of many tourist attractions and downtown, where numerous shuttle buses depart for other key sights. Overall, this hotel delivers a high-quality, personal experience in a prime location. Highly recommended.

A couple of areas could be improved: the TV equipment felt a bit outdated and wasn’t very intuitive to use, and the soap and shampoo containers in the bathroom were somewhat impractical. These are, however, very minor points in an otherwise outstanding stay.

Everything. Great location - a 5-10 minute walk to the pier. Also a 10 minute walk to the cruise terminal. Beautiful facilities - our room was gorgeous with lovely views. We could see sea planes and cruise ships. Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful - I wish I could remember his name but the male on reception who checked us in was so lovely. The staff had sprinkled rose petals all over our room as we were celebrating our honeymoon and left us a bottle of Prosecco and some macarons. We also loved that the hotel has bikes to borrow to save on renting any. I loved every second of our time here, I didn’t want to go home.

Absolutely nothing.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely boutique hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The hotel is connected to the restaurant next door, which made breakfasts (and excellent coffee!) especially convenient. Housekeeping was consistently excellent, and the team went above and beyond with thoughtful recommendations for local dining. We needed to work from our room for a few days, and it turned out to be perfect—well set up with a couple of good options for laptops. The location was fantastic; we were able to walk everywhere. On a more relaxed day, we borrowed the hotel bikes and enjoyed a beautiful, easy ride around Stanley Park. Overall, everything from the service to the amenities made our stay memorable, and we would absolutely stay here again when visiting Vancouver.

We really liked this hotel couldn't come up with any elements we didn't like. The only thing was the sauna was not working during out stay and was being serviced.

I rarely write reviews, but I had to share this experience because the hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The Loden is a small, luxurious boutique hotel with a Michelin-starred French restaurant. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, spotless, and filled with high-end products. Cleanliness has always been a big issue for me in hotels, especially in the U.S., where even luxury hotels can disappoint. However, Loden was exceptional. The housekeeping staff were impressive. They cleaned the room perfectly every day and added thoughtful touches without me asking. I was shocked when they brought water infused with citrus and snacks like pistachios, almonds, and pastries daily. The staff were extremely polite and made me feel truly valued as a guest. On top of that, the location is perfect—right in the heart of Vancouver and only 5 minutes from Canada Place. The Loden delivered an outstanding experience and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vancouver.

Nothing, everything perfect!

Everything was top shelf. From the welcome bottle of wine, interconnecting room with the kids room, the evening turn down with lightly flavoured water treats, to the beautiful beds, top toiletries and delicious food at the restaurant Tableau. Lobby was an oasis of luxury with alternating hot drinks and Christmas goodies including fresh apples. Staff were always happy to help and very friendly. They even onforwarded my daughter’s delayed parcel to our location in Whistler after our departure. In comfortable walking distance to some great shops. Loved everything about our stay.

This was an exceptional hotel. As part of a 3 week holiday staying in numerous places, our 5 day stay here was easily the best! The room was a great size - so comfortable and beautiful! The staff were so friendly and accommodating! We absolutely loved coming back to the hotel each day after exploring the city to free snacks and chocolate waiting for us in the room. The bar on ground floor of hotel was also amazing with incredibly lovely staff and amazing drinks. We loved it and would stay at this hotel again - highly recommend to anyone staying in Vancouver. The downtown location is great!

Location, staff was incredibly competent, professional and just lovely. We would return primarily because of the staff. Everyone we came in contact with were so kind, friendly and helpful. The bathtub was superb! We both loved the room.

Bed was a little soft and uneven. The corner room doesn't warrant being more expensive than the other king rooms.

Location was great and room was clean and comfortable. What really separates this place is the service and small touches. 5 stars in service. Love the variety of pillow options. Very unique. I’ve never seen that before and I travel. Thank you Loden!

We chose The Loden as our home away from home to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary in Vancouver, BC. We are so glad we did. The staff went above and beyond our expectations to help make our anniversary a very memorable event! We had a surprising and unexpected upgrade that elevated our experience. We were so enthralled with our stay we have recommended The Loden to family, friends, co-workers and anyone who enters our orbit. We look forward to the next time we can visit such a wonderful city and a use this fantastic hotel as our home base.
