The front-desk staff were very helpful, courteous & professional, offering a warm welcome when we checked in. The woman who ran the breakfast in the morning was also helpful. The breakfast was good, as guests could opt to have cereal, toast, bagels, juice, coffee & fresh fruit. I think there was instant oatmeal too. The room was comfortable & the bathroom was clean & seemed to have been refreshed recently. Parking was convenient, as it was immediately in front of the hotel. For a room that had a view of the parking lot, the rate may have been a bit high. But, it isn’t wildly out of line with other accommodations. I think a view of the water would have been preferable, but it was ~$50 more a night. It was a pleasant stay at the hotel.

this small hotel is user-friendly, nicely equipped and the location on the harbour is picturesque. the breakfast area and client lounge is quiet and we were able to usedit well for working. Lots of coffee available in the lobby - good! the room was comfortable, the shower alittle tricky to figure out and couldn't be adjusted without actually getting wet. the TV system was not user-friendly.

TV system was confusing. Shower would only work on the hand-held appliance and could not be shifted to the overhead. could n't be adjusted without actually getting into the shower and getting wet.

The hotel is perfectly located for the business end of the town with everything in walking distance. The most perfect location for a 5 minute drive to the ferry ⛴️ terminal. We walked to Dolly's fish market and restaurant for dinner and it was superb.

The only thing I didn't like was the modern hand basin in the bathroom, the electric mirror with touch screen for perimeter lighting is brilliant, but being a man with shovel like hands, the modern basin was too shallow and i have seen deeper water filled potholes on the highway.

Breakfast was okay. Staff was very helpful. location was good. the view of the harbour was wonderful and added to the enjoyment of the stay. The shower was excellent and other in-room facilities were very good. supplied binoculars was a nice touch and allowed us to keep an interested view of the harbour, the boats and the birds.

breakfast might be improved with added fruit and other options. Do you provide charging stations for Electric vehicles? if not that would be an improvement. Better/ larger shampoo and conditioners are needed.

Room was very comfortable. Lovely view from the lounge over the water. Complimentary Takeaway packed breakfast was delivered to our hotel room for 4.30am which was perfect for an early start needed to catch the ferry. Ferry port just a 10min drive away.

Although the hotel was clean and facilities were good, the decor seems very dated and depressing which does affect first impressions. I'm not sure if I hadn't booked I would have stopped which would have been a shame. The rundown looking restaurant next door doesn't help the whole look.

Complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise. Nice finishing in room furniture, felt quality. The lounge was a nice place to socialize with fellow guests, esp when weather was poor and we had to wait for ferry to go to Haida gwaii. Nice small touches like on loan umbrellas and print out fishing licenses

The breakfast room has a beautiful view and so do the room facing the harbour. They put out cookies in the afternoon by the coffee. Nice touch Walkable to many restaurants and shops. The bed was really comfortable!!

Our room was a bit small but comfortable. Personally I prefer the self serve breakfast . You have to ask the attendant for each item you want. I took a jam and peanut butter and was asked what I was going to put it on??

Something occurred to our inquiry about a pet-friendly room and did not get through to the facility, so the pet-friendly rooms were all gone by the time we arrived, This created some minor but ultimately solved problems.

They let me check in @ 12:00 noon ,when I arrived, and gave a time to check out @ 12:00 next day so I was there a full 24 hours. By good luck the hotel was just across the street from the bus depot that takes you to the Airport ferry! Very convenient -- did not plan that!

My telephone was not working in the room, I reported it and some how they got it fixed off site.

The breakfast was very good, great selection, friendly staff member. The beds were super comfy. The place was quiet and the parking was secure. We could open the window and control the temperature in our room. Was restful.

The pillows felt like foam chip pillows and weren't very comfy. We could hear refrigerated semi's running all night long.
