Close to the ski slope (walkable) and the Blackcomb gondola. It’s on the free shuttle-stop to the gondola for those who don’t want to walk the short distance. Swimming pool and hot tub were also great.

The underground parking lot is awful. Spaces are tight, with several pillars and building structures obstructing. Several big vehicles were parked in ‘compact cars only’ spots making the situation worse. Parking exit signs were sparse and were not conspicuous. Once you enter an aisle, there is no go-around if no spots are available, you have to either back out the whole distance or else turn around the vehicle in a tight end-corner. There is no alternative such as above-ground overnight parking. On top of all these, they charge a parking fee for using this. At least they should provide a valet parking service considering all the frustrations you would encounter if you try to park late in the evening when most of the guests have already parked.

There is a plumbing issue. Every time the toilet was flushed there is a loud sucking and gurgling that includes the bathtub and sink. It also happened when anyone upstairs or down stairs did the same. I believe it is a venting issue- either a frozen or covered plumbing stack or vent on the roof. I was worried that if there was no water left in the trap that we would be exposed to sewer air- something is wrong. We told housekeeping, and then reported it again at checkout. Was not resolved. Everything else was great.

Love the location, nestled in the woods. Driving up to the front enterance I loved the hanging lights on the trees, added a nice ambience. The room was clean and comfortable. Outdoor pool & hot tub were awesome! love the heated pool deck as well. Made it a lot more comfortable getting out in the cold! The kitchen in the room is awesome, love that we were able to cook meals there. Appreciated the cookware. Overall awesome stay! will be back.

Some ways they could improve would include: -Smart TV that you can watch apps like Netflix on. -More seating on the hotel room deck (there was only 1 single chair) -Who doesn't like a breakfast option? that would be amazing if possible

We really like this place. We stayed here for the 2nd year during Thanksgiving weekend. The price/quality ratio is great, the hotel is located right on the slope which makes it great for ski-in/ski-out (if there is enough snow) and otherwise you can take the free shuttle to the gondola (or all over town). Heated pool and hot-tubs are great (although can get busy after everyone is back from a day of skiing)

There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel (only a few vending machines) so you either need to go into town or fill the fridge & cupboards (kitchens in room are great)

I loved the whole place; it was so easy to get to and from Upper Village with the free shuttle #5 which came every 10 minutes. The big Christmas trees made it very festive and the room was so comfortable and cosy. The heated pool and hot tub were great for a soak after a long day. The staff with whom I interacted were so kind and friendly and incredibly accommodating with my need to temporarily store luggage and my snowboard after checking out and before checking in. This made it so much easier for me as I was travelling alone and had a lot to carry! Highly recommend.

Great sized room with kitchen, bathroom, living area and balcony. The kitchen had a large fridge and freezer with plenty of equipment. There was also a lovely gas fire and an air con unit so it is comfortable no matter the weather. There were plenty of lighting options. The underground parking was very handy, the laundry room was easy to use and cheap enough. The outdoor pool and hot tubs were lovely while open. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was a shuttle into town every half hour.

The outdoor pool and tubs were closed for two of the days we stayed, however we got our parking comped because of this. Usually $25 per night.

We spent here one night - but wish to stay here for a week or more. Lovely and fully equipped kitchenette - you can cook everything you want. If you don't want - there is a bus that bring you to the center of the village with numerous cafes. The hotel has big enough heated pool with two hot-tubs (12 and 14 sit places) - a nice option after skiing and long-distance walking. If you still have some energy - there is a ping pong table (better to bring your own rackets if you have). Walking distance to the Blackcomb condola - 16min, to the Excalibur condola - 30min - or just take a bus.

The bed was a bit unstable - looks like the base was broken. Also, could not turn on fireplace - couldn't find switcher (although the ignition was working). Parking is paid - 25CAD.

We can't say there was anything we didn't like, but there are a few suggestions for improvement. The room didn't have bottled drinking water, which is often provided in other hotels. It would also be nice to have disposable slippers for going to the pool. Additionally, there was no air conditioning, making the room quite stuffy during warm weather. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, and it's also unclear why parking is charged separately for hotel guests when you've already paid for the room.

Clean and the pool was lovely during the daytime, however there was a lacrosse team (s)of young boys and parents that took over the pool area at night and all were oblivious of other guests and were / loud / jumping in and out of the pool with no regard to others that were not part of their group , I complained to the front desk as we left the area after about 15 mins …they didn’t do anything about it , just agreed with me and said yeah sorry about that .

Should be more aware of the goings on around the hotel / and pool areas . It is there for “All “paying customers to use and enjoy not just youth sports teams .

Our suite was super clean and we took full advantage of the kitchen. The pool and hot tub were great. Big patio decks on our level too. Ski run just outside the back door. The free shuttle meant we could go have a drink in the village and not worry about driving or parking.

Pool closes at 10, probably to keep the kid noise down for pool facing rooms, but it would have been nice to just have adult only time back there later in the evening. Bed could have been more comfortable but I’m really scraping for anything to criticize. We were very happy.
