Loved everything about the staff - but we got “upgraded” on arrival , without being asked. I had picked an alpine suite with superior view - said recently renovated and high floor superior view… our room may have been bigger? But it was just us - and I purposefully stayed with my 3rd party booking , booking.com because though FAIRMONT offered huge discount rates this summer? That reserved room was not available. Our low floor , lovely though it was room, showed mostly the mini golf and the roof and we kept our curtains closed because of it. Very disappointed for the full price money we paid booking.com

Our view of the roof-and there was a broken glass outside of our window? Which also made us worry that it was not secure .

It had lots of good services, pool, restaurants and was close to the village. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a great size, as well as lots of storage. The hotel was very accessible. We had two separate bookings and the lady behind the counter was very helpful in aligning it so we could keep the same room. We really appreciated this.

A lot of interruptions in the room by hotel staff. They seem to come to the room at least three times a day if you don’t have the do not disturb sign up. The hotel is getting a bit dated. There’s also silly charges like a “resort experience” fee (not optional) and food service can be quite slow. The breakfast was rather bad, most things were stale or lukewarm and for $50 a person you’d expect better. These are things I do consider picky, but when you’re paying this kind of money up front for a hotel room you do expect these things to be spot on.

We had the most wonderful time (my wife, our 11 year old daughter and me) and a lot of that was due to the friendliness and courtesy of all of your staff. In fact, I don’t think we had any negative issues while we were here. Listed below is my specific feedback on why our stay was so great. The ease of getting our skis and lift tickets We loved all the Australian kids you hired at the ski rental area. They were so friendly and helpful and there was such a great sense of comradery. We would bring our little dog with us and they all enjoyed petting and holding her The maids were very efficient and always said hello every morning and very pleasant. Our room was made up promptly and efficiently Your concierges were very helpful and had a friendly can do attitude. In many hotels, the concierges get very busy and make you feel like an inconvenience – but that was not the attitude of your concierges The front desk staff was polite and always had a smile on their face The restaurant where we had breakfast served an excellent brunch. The staff was so polite and accommodating. We loved Ivana – so kind The valet parkers were always polite and very professional The servers at the pool area were efficient and served us with a smile What is most important to me, is the experience I give to my child and she had such a great time and made new friends. Please pass along our thanks to all of your staff and thank you again for giving us such a memorable experience.

One of the most wonderful hotels we have stayed in. Everything detail had been considered down to Thera massage guns behind reception in the health spa for post ski muscle pain, the ski valet service, free tea and coffee set out with fresh fruit around the hotel at key points in the day. The staff were polite, friendly and empowered to make guests feel comfortable and special. There were a brilliant range of additional experiences out in for no additional costs to guests; hiking along a beautiful trail known for a 70 year old train wreck and bears, crystal sound healing and yoga sessions, a meet and greet with Archie the hotel dog.

The guest services at the Fairmont were incredible, everyone from front desk to bar staff were so helpful and friendly - AJ made sure our stay was an unforgettable experience. We spent just one night and planned to ski on day 2 but with access to the amenities even after checkout we quickly reneged on skiing and instead made the most of everything the Fairmont had to offer. Pool and health spa is beautiful, live music at the mallard lounge and great cocktails. Great location slightly removed (but very easy walk) from the hustle of the village but closer to the ski hill and beauty of lost lake trails.

Staying at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler was an unparalleled experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They even coordinated the delivery of a special collectible teddy bear 🥹 I wanted from their Whistler location to the Fairmont Vancouver, making my stay truly memorable. The level of care and attention to detail was exceptional, and every interaction with the staff was warm and professional. This is by far the best hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.♥️

Staff was wonderful! Everyone, from front desk to restaurant to housekeeping, etc were great! Jonathon (concierge) was especially helpful to me & my friend with activities at the hotel & the area. But, everyone was really exceptional.

For the price I paid, I would have appreciated better toilet tissue. I had to use about 3 times what would be normal because it was so flimsy. Also, a new recipe for the nachos. Most of the meals I ate on-site were really good (although expensive for my taste), but the nachos could use some work. All of our meals (except nachos) were good, but just too much food. Maybe cut back on the portions & charge less. None of our group could eat everything we were served, & it's so sad to waste so much food.

We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel and would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys luxury treatment: from the valet, to the service desk, to the pool boys, to the manager,... all of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful! We got some extra treats to make up for a mistake with our breakfast order, the staff went above and beyond to make things right! Our room was very large and equipped with everything we needed and wanted. Pool area was big enough so you could relax in peace and not be disturbed by other guests. We'd love to come back next time we visit Whistler.

It is great location, the service is very good. Staff is friendly and welcoming. We celebrated our special anniversary and hotel staff made everything possible to make our day special! The grill restaurant is outstanding, we got great dining experience! I will definitely come back!

We received the wrong bill from other room, the reception lady was not very attentive. We even had to return to the hotel to clarify the situation. Quite troublesome to watch movies, either you pay for it 20 bucks per movie or spend half an hour connecting own devices to the TV to stream.

Magnifisent experience, The staff are not like any staff I ever seen, kind, sweet and always smiling. Super clean hotel and I loved that there is coffee in many places in the lobby and in the swimming pool.The coffee in the room was high quality. I ordered a soup in room dining and was amazing. You need high budget to enjoy this hotel, but it is worth it. the ski and hikes around are what the cherry on the cake.

I attended a conference and opposite to the great food in the hotel, the food at the conference was not as good. I would appreciate if they offered water in the room that is not for purchase.
