Very nice resort and unit was very nice as well. Kitchen was well appointed and functional. Liked the separate shower stall and LOVED the big deep tub! I'm a big guy and usually there's not much room for water. I was able to completely submerge. It was glorious!

Security keypads and door codes were obnoxious and felt excessive! Constantly had to refer to my welcome email to know which code was to be used where! Extremely inconvenient! No guest parking instructions on welcome email and non occupant guest parking was very limited to non existent. Garbage/recycling/food waste removal was gross/ a pain and inconvenient. Check out time is too early! 10:am on a Sunday is ridiculous especially when you have to wash your dishes and remove trash! Front desk staff not super friendly, knowledgeable or helpful!

Our entire experience was excellent. From the day we booked to the day we left. Super easy and efficient. The property itself was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Everything was in excellent condition and well taken care of. Building was easy to find and get in and out of, parking was a breeze. It was also very quiet, we didn't hear anything at all outside of our condo. The value was over the top, especially for a destination resort like Whistler. Very impressed.

For some, the location might be a tad far from the village. But it is very close to one of the top attractions in Whistler, Lost Lake. Regardless, there is a free bus to the village literally steps away from the building. If you're into walking or biking (as we were), the 1.8K trip was literally refreshing and fun. And if you're doing one or both of those activities, access to the Whistler trail system is again, right outside the building. On the same note, the location was quiet and we preferred that.

We've stayed before, and really like this hotel. It's really quite sad, though, that the desk doesn't have a staff at reception most of the time - it's so random. We loved the layout of our room - felt so very spacious.

Housekeeping must have been in a hurry, because the kitchen floor wasn't cleaned (not even swept) and the carpets never got vacuumed. Wasn't pleasant finding a handful of half eaten carrots under the dining room table. Gross. The codes for access are great, until you try to use the ski locker, which is a pure hassle with so many back to back doors requiring them when you are carrying all your gear.

Lovely quiet building and grounds - pool and BBQ area were great and being enjoyed by lots of guests, which was nice to see. Location was excellent.

Check out at 10am is just annoying. When we can't check in until 4pm and have to be packed up and out by 10am its very disappointing and frustrating. I did call the front desk the day of checkout and was granted 11am which was a bit better. That said, I think if check in is firm at 4pm then at least 11am checkout should be standard. Especially considering the guest is expected to empty garbage, recycle, clean kitchen etc. That should make turning the rooms over much quicker. Probably not as big of a deal when staying a week or so but when only there for two nights that cuts the stay short. On a positive, we were permitted to leave our car in the parkade until 2pm which was greatly appreciated. :)

Very spacious, well laid out condo. Quiet and enjoyed the surrounding trees and peacefulness! Well equipped kitchen.

TINY parking space! We have an average sized car and it was a challenge to park.....saw lots of scrapes from cars on various posts there! The car next door to us was parked over the line, so we had to personally knock on their door to move it! Not ideal. The stalls should be re-aligned to fit today's Monster trucks! Customer service was lacking. Had to go through Le Chamois to resolve issues.

Clean unit with nice furnishings and made for a great holiday week in Whistler, the bed in the unit was softer than my desired, but I like a firm bed so I'm sure it would be great for some people.

Elevator in the building is currently non-functional, apparently it has been out of service for at least 5 weeks due to the lack of some parts for repair, there was no estimated time for it to be repaired. Moving around in the building without the elevator is possible but awkward especially with ski/snowboard gear.

the check in instructions were sent on time and were clear, but please check your spam folder! We ended up going to the front desk at Chamois up the street to check in unnecessarily as Horstman House front desk hours are very limited and it wasn't manned when we arrived . The location is excellent - a short walk to Lost Lake beach, and we ended up walking into the village center for dinners. The bed was very comfortable with good quality linens

it was very hot (>30 degrees) when we were there and lack of AC was pretty unfortunate. I understand this might not be the usual weather for the area though.

Lovely room, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything you would need. Large balcony with newer patio furniture was a true bonus, especially overlooking the forest. There was also a peekaboo view of the pool and hot tub. The bed was very comfortable. Location was about a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive to Blackcomb Village, so the proximity was good without the noise of the restaurants and bars of Whistler Village. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location with trails and forest surrounds. Good access to the free public transit shuttle right in front of the building, great hot tub, room was fully equipped for a family stay and quite spacious for a condo. Having the key code for room vs key cards was very convenient for our big group.

I interpreted ‘double bunks’ to mean two sets of bunk beds; have never seen two double beds stacked atop one another as this unit has. So that was a bit less comfortable for the kids sharing beds. Additional standard consumables for a 3-bedroom unit would have been appreciated (coffee, salt & pepper). The carpeted entry was hard to keep dry with so many sets of wet boots.

lovely property, we had a 3 bed unit over 2 floors. fully equipped, 3 bathrooms, washer dryer. Lovely pool area , games rooms. Very comfy sofas. No keys, only codes to access everything. We were able to access facilities 2 hours before room was ready which was great.

A little far from town. We chose to walk (15 or so minutes) as we were never able to synchronize with the shuttle but there is a very convenient shuttle service outside the property. One bed was broken but was dealt with promptly. The sofa bed mattress wasn't comfortable but the rest of the unit was really comfy.
