We were stranded in Gander as our vehicle broke down on the highway. What started as a 1 night stay turned into a four night stay. We were treated so exceptionally well by all of the amazing staff who work at this hotel. From our check-in experience with Emily (probably the best hotel staff ever), Strawberry, Renee and the other woman who worked in the dining room, Wayne who went out of his way to find a way for us to spend our 4th night in the same room and all the staff who work fastidiously to clean the rooms...A HUGE THANK YOU from my husband and I. The rooms are large, well-appointed, have excellent mattresses and a spacious shower. All of our breakfasts were excellent. It is super convenient having a "Jungle Jims" attached to the hotel. I also enjoyed the outdoor seating area (ie. the gazebo). Highly recommend!!

We loved everything!!

A very nice, though unexceptional, motel. It's well located in Gander (but then Gander isn't very big!) The front desk staff were especially friendly and helpful with a couple of questions we had. Our room was fine for our needs. The complementary breakfast was decent, and appreciated - excellent muffin, though mediocre - likely reconstituted - scrambled eggs.

Charming and helpful staff. Excellent service. They had made sure our booking requests for quiet rooms close together were taken into account. All the amenities we needed for a one night stop. Comfortable beds. Location easy to find.

Soundproofing between rooms. Could hear guests in room below but earplugs resolved this. Decor is a little dated but everything is very clean.

Although the hotel is older, it is really well kept. We were greeted immediately and welcomed. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Room and bathroom had everything a traveler could need, coffee, tea, coffee maker, fridge. Microwave, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, makeup remover, and lots of towels. Location is central and easy to get in and out of. There is a restaurant right next door, Jungle Jims as well as others very close by.

The property was easy to find. Staff were helpful, pleasant and accommodating.Our room was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed being able to do our laundry using their free washer and dryer. Breakfast had a good selection of items set up buffet style. There were several places within walking distance to have a meal as well.

We had no wifi for the entire day we were there.

Location convenient, just off the highway, close to most things in town. Buffet breakfast convenient and there is coffee available in the lobby until late. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was very friendly, they gave us good recommendation for restaurants in town.

It's slightly loud if the room gives onto the street, but nothing too bad.

The breakfast isn't very healthy. Lots of carbs and sugar . Not good for vegetarian. Really the only problem.

Waffle was very good, eggs OK. Room was clean, comfy and relatively quiet. Note our room was in back, the front faces the TCH. Across the street (TCH) from the Aviation Museum.

Cant think of anything. Oh - peanut butter is not a substitute for butter…

The staff were extremely kind and helpful. I have stayed here before and the staff are always incredible. The hotel is very close to the airport and close to a few restaurants. We were able to walk to the airport museum which was nice. It’s not a luxury hotel but it’s clean and comfortable and has great air conditioning.

Great breakfast and lovely dining area

Price for a senior a little high and I was the driver for a neighbour attending a medical appointment appointment in Gander . We live in the Baie Verte area ,so it is a long drive and appointment was for 4pm. It would be a nice gesture if the Comfort Inn could give discounted rates for Seniors and especially for those with medical reasons for their stay.
