The location is peaceful and relaxing, perfectly located for my course in Orangeville over the weekend. The staff were very pleasant and happy to go above and beyond to help where needed. The rooms were well decorated and I would definitely stay here again!

The breakfast was lacking... but as a complimentary service I cannot complain. Who doesn't love fruit and doughnuts in the morning? I would ask that they turn off or tone down the music in the hallways... it doesn't fit the peaceful nature of the location and was quite off-putting.

Checkin was a breeze, the staff was very helpful and very accommodating in all aspects of my stay. I particularly appreciated that I was able to checkout late, and that they offered to bring breakfast to my room (I had to attend an early online meeting). The setting of the property is absolutely gorgeous and a true "winter wonderland" (it must be even prettier in the summer). The wifi was the fastest wifi I had at any hotel, ever.

This is a matter of taste to some extent, but I do feel that for some parts of the property, form/looks was too highly prioritized over function/comfort. For example, the bathroom looks gorgeous, but due to the marble floor without a rug it is quite cold. The breakfast area has very wide chairs that make the area an absolute delight for the eyes, but the chairs are rather uncomfortable. None of these would keep me from staying at this hotel again. And, as said, it is a bit of a matter of taste.

The staff were extremely attentive and made sure my stay was a 10++++. I was given essential oils for the room and a bath bomb to enjoy, plus fruit and goodies in my fridge and they made sure I had a meal upon my arrival as I traveled in a snow storm to get there. If that weren't enough, I had an excellent breakfast, with a late check out and they even clean the snow off my car and pulled it up to door for me. I cannot say enough good things about my stay. Loved everything!!

Location was gorgeous with wide open spaces surrounding the site. The room was large and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable. Breakfast was okay…. It was buffet style and not very warm.

There were a number of issues with the resort. In the middle of the foyer, the floor was cracked such that it was blocked so that guest did not trip on the crack. The elevator’s only light was an industrial flashlight on the floor. Plus there were a number of other smaller details that made you question that this was a ‘luxury resort’. Despite this I would return, hoping the issues had been addressed.

Big private land with trail, hotel room is very clean, breakfast is very good, now they servie apple, egg, sausage and bacon for breakfast, and I think they take advise from reviews, plenty of food for breakfast. The staffs are very kind and always had smile on their face and inqiry about your stay, they care about the guest. One of the best hotel I have ever live in.

Only one luggage cart, hotel door and elevator door are small

The staff was amazing; from the front desk, to housekeeping, to the servers, and the Sommelier, everyone went out of their way to make our stay the best possible. The restaurant was fantastic! We had dinner and brunch there, and both were wonderful. The continental breakfast had a wide variety of options. The hotel is beautiful. Location was secluded, but close enough to town to make it not feel too remote.

The property and staff were exceptional! We were visiting under extremely difficult circumstances. Nigel, Scott along with all the entire team went above and beyond with all requests we made and our time here was made considerably easier

The room was excellent, the staff was attentive and sent a complementary fruits and chocolates for my birthday. The resort is nice and clean. Awesome trail at the island lake conservation area 10 minutes drive from the hotel.

Breakfast could be better, pretty limited section, the server didn’t have salt and pepper, also please buy a high chair for babies. :)

Exceptional location in the hills of Caledon. 100 acres of beautiful hills and valleys. Alot of personal touch and visionary ownership. A big expansion is occurring which will include a 11,000 square foot solarium for weddings/events and a huge spa. A 7km on site trail is almost completed Beautiful patio area, eating and dinning area with spectacular evening skies due to no light pollution. Great for romantic getaway or personal retreat. Greeted with personalized welcome card, fruit/sweet tray in room. Staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and professional.

Needs to add a few practical amenities like hooks in bathroom for bathrobes and ditto for next to bed. A little bit of dust and distant noise during construction/expansion but will be spectacular once completed. Rainfall Shower head is nice but should have included a handheld attachment.

the property was exclusive and charming. Has a rustic feel as you drive down to the parking lot and the front entrance. the staff I dealt with was very professional and even called me afterwards regarding a question I had and had it fully answered which impressed me so much! taking the time to appreciate the customers. My room was upgraded and it had put the cherry on top of my worries during this weekend. Very accommodating and the restaurant was exquisite. The attendant who served us was funny and caudal and made the fine dining a great and relaxing experience! overall- I’ll be back for a girls night with my cousin. it was wonderful.

I really enjoyed the entire stay, however if I had to say one thing. It would be the breakfast. As we went down for breakfast we really thought for the price and luxury it would have more protein options. it was fruit and sweets. I’m not a sweet fan so I stayed with the fruit which was tasty, however when leaving I did end up picking up something else. the breakfast area was extremely quiet, and perhaps some light music for ambience. overall it was still enjoyable
