A great spot to stay for a couple of nights! I was participating in the Kawartha Arts & Crafts show in Fenelon Falls, and it was a short and beautiful 12 min drive into town. The linens and towels were very fresh and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The motel is next to the highway, which I was worried about for noise, but it ended up being very quiet. The unit offered a small table with two chairs which was nice to eat at, as well as a vanity set with mirror for getting ready in the morning. There was also a cute porch directly out back of the room with a chair looking out into the field. If I wasn't in a hurry in the morning, it would have been nice to sit and enjoy my coffee on. The owner was so friendly on arrival and took an interest in why I was in town. We chatted for quite a bit and she even came out to the event to purchased some of my work to support my business. That really took me by surprise! <3

Owner was fantastic! Very friendly and even gave us Chinese deserts and bananas when we checked in. The place was very clean even though I was skeptical about it being a motel. It was nice that she started a nice big fire for us in the backyard. The bathroom in the hotel room was beautiful and completely renovated :) Covered porch/patio in the back of the rooms was nice.

There is a trailer park in the back, and some of the residents' language was left to be desired. Cursing coming out of even the little boys mouth while by our fire. Also, the beds were a little old, hard, springy and could use some updating.

I was moved to a trailer..and the beds were not made..no towels dish towels none..no dish soap or soap for the bathroom. No propane for the BBQ..was gonna cost for a full tank I was there for 4 days..no dishes 2 mugs a spoon fork and knife. The bathroom..were told to use the outside washroom and shower..no towels...I went up north to a motel room where everything is provided..then to be moved to a trailer I was not prepared .if I was told I would of brought things we needed . Nice place though and quiet..

1. Very convenient location, right by Hwy 35, getting to the nearby towns and lakes is a piece of cake. 2. Hand-held shower head! Don't understand why most of other hotels and motels don't have it, to me, it's a must! 3. The whole property is well and professionally managed, the parking spot in front of each room is quite spacious and the pavement was smooth, the hedge was trimmed neatly. A super nice first impression. 4. Kitchenette in double room provided us with several hot meals. The fridge was much bigger (this year we've had many road trips so we compared this one to the others and were quite satisfied with the size of the fridge). 5. We had rooms 4 and 5, both with nice view to the back of the property. We spent night time sitting around the bonfire, watching meteor showers and it was a huge success! Very memorable night, with little to no light pollution.

A little bit leakage in the shower, guess a replacement of the sealing strip will have this fixed.

Clean and affordable were my top priorities. Room was not huge but had everything you needed. Mini fridge, microwave, satellite TV, small coffee machine, desk, 2 chairs and very small table. Hairdryer and nice lighted vanity in bathroom. On a main road on the outskirts of town, the motel sits on a large lot so it was quiet at night and the bed was comfortable. Sliding door at the back to a long covered back porch with 2 muskoka chairs was an added bonus. Got a small welcome basket with fruit, granola bars and juice boxes when we arrived :) Definitely happy with our stay and would recommend.

My partner is tall and the corner shower stall was a bit tight for him, but that's something he deals with on a daily basis. Everything else was great.

Good location. Owner (May) was very friendly 👍. Check in process was quick and easy. Room is basic but floor could have been cleaner (I stepped in something sticky in bare feet). Air conditioning unit is new and easy to operate(very quiet at night). Washroom has been updated and was exceptionally clean. Shower was a good size. Water pressure was great and plenty of hot water. Towels where thick and soft. In room refrigerator coffee maker and microwave(all where clean). Bed was very comfortable and sheets where soft (felt good). All in all, a very comfortable stay.

Liked that the bathroom was completely renovated and the size of the room with little kitchenette and private little patio plus the view of just an open field. Even the towels were big and fluffy...lol And of course the price:)

My wife was a little disappointed that there was only one shelf in the shower and that there was very little counter space in the washroom. She said a shelf by the sink would of solved the problem. Just a place to put her lotions and potions...lol

The facility was very good with two beds, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave and a huge backyard. Parking was at the front door and the unit felt very safe. The motel was minutes away from friends in Rosedale, ON. It rained the day we arrived, but no issues with either flooding or dampness.

The toilet seat was not properly anchored, but we managed.

This motel was fantastic. A great friendly greeting and snacks offering on arrival. Our room was perfectly clean and well stocked, with the bathroom having shower gel and shampoo. The extras (creamer / salt & pepper sachets / tea bags etc) that may have been forgotten in the office were much appreciated. The beds were really comfortable and the rear patio had a refreshingly great outlook. Towels clean and soft. A truly great stay. Would come back in a heart beat!

We had to leave early so didn’t have breakfast. But the owner gave us granola, juice and banana which we didn’t expect. Owner was very friendly and helpful, easy to communicate with. Room was very clean, has fridge and microwave which was not indicated on website. So we’re pleasantly surprised. Also room analyzing door which opens on to a patio with picnic table and chairs. Would have enjoyed it if we were staying more than one night. Room was quiet even though motel wa son highway.
