Expect to wait for lots of stuff as they're terribly understaffed! Yet those present, are pleasant, accommodating, and haul ass best they can to serve... Rooms have walls on the thinner side, but beds are comfortable, tv is clear and crisp, include most of the typical amenities ( no coffee maker in mine ) and are kept spotless. Lots of free self-parking with supposed 24 hour surveillance...your guess is as good as mine there? Prices are overall 10-20% higher, and portions are smaller for food and beverages compared to any Gateway property, but all was fresh and delicious... Casino is small and slots are limited. Only let it ride, blackjack, roulette, and four card poker tables were available at any time. Only a few video poker machines with two styles of play on each. Pretty solid first visit, but I'll likely return to Rama next time

Staff as always is a 10/10. Best possible. They recognized me from prior stays and welcomed me warmly. That is very nice. Very good coffee. Always fresh and good milk choices. Bagels are extra but a great deal and very tasty. Always nice to have the entertainment of a casino even though I wasn't able to visit the casino this trip.

I booked thru a super discount place because I only knew I was going to stay there on the same day as my visit. I ended up in a wheelchair accessible bedroom which is perfect for people who have problems with getting in and out of a room, but it was a little odd for me. Next time I will book through the hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel. It was a quick walk from the hotel to the casino. We got a great rate, so I was a bit skeptical. It was a last-minute decision for us. The room was standard, modern & clean. It was a Wednesday, so it wasn’t busy. There is a restaurant inside the Casino area. We had dinner and breakfast in Port Perry, which is a personal preference. The staff were pleasant & helpful. Checking in was easy. The grounds are kept up & the area at this time of year is beautiful.

The location is a bit remote, but it wasn’t an issue for us. Our room was close to the elevator, so we could hear voices in the bathroom. The room area was quiet. I know some people would complain but I expect some noise when staying at a hotel.

Room was comfortable, WiFi very good, plenty of parking, convenience store across the street. Didn’t go to the casino so I can’t tell you too much about that. Gym was a little tight, free coffee in the morning. Very pleasant at check-in.

Room AC’s are kind old, clunky, and a little temperamental. Although very tidy, I think this hotel would be great if just a little extra care was put into cleaning. It wasn’t dirty by any means, it just needs a little extra effort.

I didn't like a charge for a deposit that was not refunded immediately I didn't like no room cleaning automatically done I didn't like no availability of food I didn't like no pool or gym No views No coupons or vouchers to encourage use of casino

The property had many great features including the casino, a nice restaurant and a great patio. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very large, bedding was very comfortable and bathroom had great toiletries and was very clean.

The only two things that could use some improvement were the room cleaning and the restaurant. We did find empty beer cans that were not ours hidden in the room on arrival, which was a bit disappointing. The restaurant had great meal options, but the staff wasn’t overly friendly and they did not have many alcoholic drink options. A basic cocktail according to the waitress could not be made, despite seeing all the ingredients behind the bar.

The room for 2 people was big and very clean, the bed and pillows were so comfortable, and the shower was fantastic as it had a rain showerhead. There was a small fridge but no coffeemaker. However, free coffee was available in the lobby. There was a sports team staying a few doors down, and the kids were very noisy and slamming doors until well after midnight. A quick call to the front desk, and we were offered another room farther away. They also offered a free breakfast the next morning. All the staff were friendly, including the Hotel Manager, Kimmie Kim. If I were to return to Port Perry, I'd definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was okay. Ate there twice for breakfast

I did not like lunch at the restaurant....the burger was dried out, like it has been sitting on the grill for to long and covered up with extra mayo, they also put a toothpick in the burger with a pickle, and the pickle juice was running down the bun I don't like pickles so that wasn't impressive

They need to add back the morning breakfast at the hotel or provide vouchers to eat breakfast at the casino. They did not have enough 2 bed rooms when we book so we had to book 2 single bed rooms for the second night but when we arrived they did have 2 bed rooms for both nights but they did not allow us to cancel the single bed rooms for the second night. Used a room that I did not need because no refund was allowed

The staff were phenomenal We made a mistake in the booking, but they were willing to work with Booking and switch it to the correct day. The building is really quiet. Great size TV with a decent selection of channels. The king size bed was incredibly comfortable.

The wifi is on an unsecure network - no authentication or anything needed - that's dangerous in this day and age. There were exceptionally limited options for food, especially after 10pm, after the restaurant at the casino closes. There's no microwave, or coffee maker in the room. The hotel is beside the casino, but the path between the two is outdoors, it's not covered. Parking was a pain, as the non-handicapped stalls are a fair distance from the doors.
