Easy access right on Hwy 7, just a couple kms from downtown Lindsay. The man on Reception was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, quiet, well appointed and the bed was comfortable. The on site restaurant had very good service and the food was good, but some of the menu items were not available. I didn't try the breakfast.

NOTE: I have some mobility challenges so be aware that the rooms closest to Reception and the on site restaurant are not disabled 'friendly'. (the disabled access rooms are at the far end of the hotel from the restaurant but do have a disabled parking spot and entrance at that end, accessible after checking in at Reception). Bathroom in the regular room close to Reception that I requested to minimize the need for a lot of walking or in and out of hotel, is small, no hand grips on tub, and I needed a step stool to get up onto the high bed. The restaurant is a fairly long uphill walk from Reception (no problem for able bodied people but quite a distance for people in a disabled room at the far end), and a section of the hall is VERY dark at night.

Service is good, location is perfect away from the crowd, breakfast is enough for everyone, quiet place to stay, our room is very spacious, staff are pleasant and polite.

The air con in our room is right next to our bed which is annoying to sleep because of the sound.

Check-in process was impressively easy — it took just one simple online step to complete everything. The woman at the front desk was extremely understanding and helpful; she handled the procedures smoothly. I didn’t expect my room to be this spacious, and everything inside was working exactly as it should. Among hotels of this class, this is by far the best I’ve stayed in.

Just about everything especially the breakfast dining room! Check in/out staff very helpful, bed super comfy and quality bathroom freebies!

I was a bit late to breakfast and found the hot foods weren't kept as hot as could've been, or even topped up with fresh food. And wasn't sure how to work the cable TV to find a guide so had to go thru every channel to see what was on.

Room appeared to have been redone. Temperature was comfortable without adjusting. Plenty of parking and close to entrances.

They still need to reupholster benches where one has breakfast, but these were firm which I prefer. Club chairs were brand new but soft and low which some guests appeared to prefer. Options are good!

Close to highway and places I visited. Clean, quiet, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water for shower. Enjoyed the breakfast, liked the make-your-own waffles

I was located by the far exit and parked there, when I returned one evening there was a strong odour of pot as I entered the building and when I got up the next morning the odour was fainter.

Your receptionist was very accommodating and extremely personalable. Went out of her to help me .when I missed breakfast and got me a tea and juice which was all I really wanted.

There was nothing I didn't like. All was superb.

The breakfast served moldy english muffins. And not much else to choose from. Cereal and Dads oatmeal cookies. Had egg rounds and sausage rounds. I expected better quality of choices. The coffee was great though. Food was not good. The room was clean and comfortable. Great value for money.

The quality of breakfast choices not no name moldy english muffins, There should have been ketchup at least to put on eggs and sausage sandwich.

Fantastic stay loved the king suite so spacious!! The breakfast is lovely and quaint with the train atmosphere. Such friendly caring staff
