Room had a patio that was just feet from the lake, we could Hear the waves all Night and the view over Rainy Lake was gorgeous. The restaurant has amazing views on the lake and the menu is incredible. New chef has raised the bar. Absolutely 10 out of 10 for the Hot Honey chicken, and locally sourced burgers!

They are going through an extensive remodel. The exterior looks pretty rough. The room was remodeled and really lovely.

Our stay was good, the bed/pillows were super comfortable, everything was clean. There is a bar and restaurant on the premises where we dined. Our only disappointment was that the restaurant was not open for breakfast due to staff shortages. We will be staying there again. As well, staff were friendly and helpful.

Just missed a hot breakfast. A continental breakfast was provided, and I must say the coffee was hot and delicious.

We loved our balcony suite, very nice room and the view was incredible.

Wished there was a better breakfast option. No hot meal available during our stay and the restaurant wasn't open in the morning until 11am.

Perfect location and the staff was very friendly. Super easy to check in & out. The beds were very comfortable. Free parking for your car.

Could sometimes hear the people in rooms next to you.

It’s right on the lake with incredible views of the sunrise. The room was clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant on site had creative drink options and great poutine.

The initial view when you pull up into the parking lot made the hotel look dated and a little run down. But once you get to the lake side it’s very pretty.

The front desk staff were helpful.

The 2nd night the bartender complained about working behind the bar instead of a server. There was 5 other customers who left shortly after arriving. She did not want to walk to our table take our drink orders My husband approached the worker. And Our room was located in the renovation area and the bathroom had ants around the tub.

Stayed in Fort Frances for my Aunts 95 Birthday, it was a fabulous weekend, visiting with our Aunt and all the relations that were there for the Birthday lady. Every time we stay here it is always a great stay. Will definitely be back.

We had the room with wheelchair access. It was spacious, and beautiful. The bed was comfortable and clean with extra pillows.

The dry breakfast could be improved by adding a station to make toast, English muffins and bagels.

The outdoor space and dining area were great

We had some issue with the AC as it did not cool the room we had to open the window late at night to cool down.

The location of this hotel on the lake is great. We had dinner on the patio overlooking the water. Good food and service with a great view.
