The front desk staff member started our day and he was wonderful. I told him we came to town to celebrate or upcoming 35th anniversary. He complemented us and said he had to upgrade our room. That was so unexpected but certainly meant a great deal to us. Then he gave us cookies… my favourite and water for the room. Next…. The young man that parked our truck was much the same. This young man was a gentleman and very respectful. They should get cookies and our gals a raise. ?? Both of these staff members certainly put a great impression.

I needed another cookie. No just kidding. The property was lovely.

When I first checked in, it was really nice that there was a parking lot right beside the hotel. Along with that, it had the added convenience that it was right beside the testing centre that I had to write my professional designation exam. When I first arrived, the gentleman behind the desk was so nice and understanding that my test began at 10 AM And finished roughly around 1 PM so he extended my checkout time with no charge.

Although the women were extremely nice in the bistro, I found the hamburger quality quite subpar. It was $33 for a hamburger and fries and the french fries were good but the hamburger meat was like a rock.

Everthing about this hotel was very good including the staff, location and fitness centre. The only area I felt disappointed in was the room. It seemed very dated with the furniture, carpet, HVAC and washroom all needing a face lift. Other than that, great weekend stay at the hotel!

I wanted, and paid for a king size bed. However, because your beds are so high, I had to get a queen size room with a lower bed. Because I am short, I had to literally climb on a chair to get in and out of the bed two years ago. I've stayed at Doubletree many times when I visit for Sunfest but 2 years ago, the problem started with the high bed. I was charged for the original room but ended up a queen bed.

I liked everything else about the Doubletree. That's why I've always stayed there.

Pillows were too soft, shower curtain didn't cover the tub and flooded the floor, not enough coffee pkgs was only enough for 1 cup, would've liked to have known about the Hilton app ahead of time, no vending machines on the floor

The staff was extremely helpful, willing to help at any time. With multiple calls to the desk for the wifi, and visit by the head of technology, we were happy with the service. The restaurant staff were terrific! (especially David)

Wifi reception was spotty, and mostly non-existent. That was in the first room we were in, 1612. The plumbing in the first room had a tap dripping, that seeped down into the floor. Finally, they moved us into another room, 1614, where the wifi didn't work, mostly. They offered to move us to another room, but my wife was tired and refused.

The staff at Blake's were great, especially Rebecca. we had dinner there every night, and she made the experience very warm and memorable.

The in room safe didn't work and it couldn't be fixed unless we were in the room. Parking was expensive even though we were staying in the hotel, and it did not feel very safe.

Staff were great. Room was clean and quiet. All the amenities worked well.

$40/day valet parking is the only option. Downtown London is an unappealing collection of homeless drug addicts and criminals. Not vibrant and invigorating, but rather the kind of place where you would rather NOT be on a vacation.

The location was great, the room was a decent size and clean the breakfast in the hotel was really nice. The staff were always helpful and the welcome cookie was amazing, it was still warm

The only thing that I didn't like was the parking options. We had to pay $39.95 for valet parking which was a bit steep.

the staff were amazing and let us store our bags before and after we checked into our hotel, they offer complimentary breakfast but don’t forget a voucher when you first get there our else if you want breakfast you can choose from their breakfast menu or have a plate from their buffet for 23$. the restaurant staff is seriously so nice! they gave us a free piece of cheese cake for my bfs birthday which we we’re celebrating. there’s The Factory, Rock climbing as well as many bars and fun things. truly cool how much it has to offer. The Via rail is less then like a 10 minute walk which is also a very cool plus if you don’t have a car like us.

my only true complaint is how much construction was not just around the building but everywhere. we had to take quite a few detours but if you weren’t directly downtown it seemed all of London was under construction and it just made things feel drab by the 3rd day going for walks and such.
