Property is very clean and motel and room was quite updated.

Kitchen area needs separate lighting. Main light is in living area; but it was dark over stove and sink.

Owners Gary and Nav were exceptional! They both were Kind, Courteous and Helpful! I really enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and the quiet beautiful location! The price was reasonable and not over priced. My family have been coming to the Welcome Inn in Mattawa for years and they recommended these accommodations. I am so glad they did! I will certainly be returning! Thank you Gary and Nav!

I have only one small recommendation for allergy reasons. I recommend changing your carpet freshener to a more healthier alternative for allergy sufferers such as a mixture of Baking soda and an Essential oil (for example: lemon, orange, lime, lavender, peppermint, rosemary, cinnamon, or eucalyptus.).

The owners were welcoming and kind, even calling after we checked in to see if we needed anything. I asked for two towels and they were promptly dropped by. The beds were comfortable and clean. the bathrooms looked like they had been recently updated with tiles and flooring. it was the perfect spot for a quick stop off in our trip. This was a winter stay, so we didn’t take advantage of being right on the lake, but I’m sure it’s lovely in the summer.

Very clean room with a comfortable firm bed. Owner was very kind and went above and beyond to help us out with an issue we had.

Facility is a little older but well kept. Owners are extremely friendly, rooms are kept exceptionally clean and there is a good selection of TV channels. There is plenty of parking especially if your travelling with a trailer and need the space. Because it is set back from the highway and slightly out of town the area seems very secure.
