Excellent location on the main street of North Bay, ON right across from the lake. Suite had built in kitchenette with small fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, dishes and sink. Handheld shower and bath were totally satisfactory, and the bed (in separate bedroom) was extremely comfortable and warm. Living room had queen-sized murphy bed and gas fireplace/stove under the TV so you could watch tv from murphy bed while enjoying the fire. Even though temperature dropped to -20C at night, the suite was toasty warm. All at a great price!

Only thing the suite didn't have was a a stove/oven for cooking meals, but probably due to potential fire hazard. Otherwise the suite offered everything we need for a comfortable and economical stay.

This is a nice little motel with very friendly owners. The room was clean. We stayed in the executive suite, which has a kitchenette. Having a window that opens in the bedroom and the AC in the living room was nice - the AC is noisy, but it is not in the same room you sleep. WiFi was mostly good. The kitchenette has a toaster and a kettle, as well as a microwave and a coffee maker. Would stay again.

A cutting board and a salad bowl would make my stay better. I would also love a folding table - since the "living room" has a murphy bed, and when it is open, there is no room, a folding dining table to use when the bed is closed would be great. The beds were also a bit too hard to my taste, but not to the point I could not sleep.

Best value in North Bay. Suite with kitchenette (no stove), comfortable bed with extra Murphy bed in living room, lots of lighting and outlets and decent size bathroom, all for less than single rooms in most other hotels. Good location - easily accessible from highway and city center. Have tried other places in North Bay and always end up back at Lakshore Suites.

Because they are side-by-side motel rooms with cars parked right in front of rooms, can be either a plus or minus depending on your neighbours. But at least you can keep a close eye and ear on your car :)

The owner was very attentive throughout our stay. The location was quiet, clean and very well kept; its clear the owners take a great deal of pride in the property. The AC unit was a bit loud for the size of the room, but it kept things cool & comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. I'll definitely return on my next visit to North Bay

The sofa and sofa bed were a bit aged & uncomfortable, but not terrible.

My room was spotless, and looked newly renovated. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent, I had coffee/tea, a microwave and fridge. Very well-appointed for the price. The location is great, lots of restaurants and grocery options within walking distance

I was told that there was in-floor heating (wonderful on the feet!) and to not leave the door open too long because it takes time to heat the room. In actuality, there was a lot of draft coming from the closed door, and in the morning when I woke, I could feel the draft on the parts of me that weren't covered. Still, I would stay there again in the future because the location, price, and amenities are excellent.

Clean, quiet, and close to dinner/breakfast restaurants, Lakeshore Suites has easy access to all major highways, a shopping centre, and gas stations. I especially liked the walk-in, sit-down shower - without a tub, there was no danger of slipping. Overall, it was ideal for me, a solo traveller on a motorcycle.

Not to quibble, but I’m use to a little more water pressure when I shower. It didn’t bother me, but I did notice it.

Lakeshore Suites always delivers. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and very clean. Everything is always in working order. Staff are fantastic to deal with, even when we arrive a little later than their office hours (but we always call ahead to make sure we can show up late).

Our only complaint is the water pressure in the shower.

We returned to North Bay to visit family for the long weekend. The staff at Lakeshore Suites were very welcoming. The room was clean, quiet and well appointed. It was very refreshing to have housekeeping and fresh linens every day without asking especially since so many hotel chains have cut back this service. We will be happy to return to Lakeshore Suites again next time we are in town.

Great clean and modernized motel. Very comfortable bed. Parking right in front of your door is super convenient. Had a small problem with our bathroom sink, and the proprietor fixed it immediately.

Can't say that I can think of any negatives. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean renovated room with a kitchenette. Bed was comfortable heating unit was well thought-out, with a plastic shield to keep the window curtains from hogging all the heat / ac. It also redirected the flow of air upwards so that it didn't blow directly across the bed.

The AC fan was loud and cycled on and off. I prefer a constant background noise for sleeping.
