Breakfast and dinner was satisfactory and plenty of it. The waiting staff were exceptionally polite, kind and attentive. Any questions were answered at reception and done so, politely. The room was spacious and comfortable though we did not have any cleaners during our stay, our choice. We asked for extra toilet paper at reception and it was given, no problem. We didn’t use the facilities available, ie the gym etc, so cannot comment on those. The view across the bay was beautiful!

Nothing could’ve been better where our particular stay was concerned.

Riverview is excellent. When the sink was clogged in original room assigned, they quickly gave us a new room and free breakfast vouchers. Breakfast on the patio of the restaurant overlooking the Bay was enjoyable. Staff were flexible and understanding of our needing more time to check-out.

Interconnecting rooms would have been better (we have a special needs child); Laundry facilities need to be upgraded; Thermostat in one of the rooms was not working (had to manually turn off to prevent from getting too cold); Sink was clogged in original room assigned.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with walkways around the lake. It's very close to the center of Owen Sound as well, 5 min by car. I did not eat the breakfast, but did have dinner there with the group I was with and it was good.

The room was very dark and the A/C was very loud. I did not spend too much time in the room as I was away most of the day during my stay. The WIFI was not very reliable.

The room was on the 3rd floor and it was very nice and clean with a great view. This room was a suit and thus had a microwave as well. There was water view from the room as well. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The pool is small however great place to relax and hang out with kids. Water temperature for the pool and jacuzzi was great Would highly recommend this place

I wish breakfast was included in the price of the room.

The room was excellent. The view, beds and pillows were awesome. I actually would love to know what brand of pillows they were so I could buy some! The coffee was good too.

At check in the gentleman told me that I couldn't use my CAA discount because I had booked through a third party. As I only go to a hotel about once every 5 years I had no idea and I thought booking sites were the way to go. I really was disappointed that I couldn't get the CAA discount. But our stay was great all round.

Breakfast was very good and in line with alternate restaurants. Staff was efficient and friendly Nice location on the bay, lots of walking trails, within short distance, we will return for a a third visit. The salmon were running when we were there, big bonus !

Staff was efficient and friendly. Dinner was good to very good but we felt it was priced as excellent. Did not quite deliver that.

Breakfast is not included in the stay. The hotel had made significant upgrades since I last stayed there, and I was very comfortable. Everything was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The walking paths around the hotel provided a very nice break at beginning/end of day.

Pillows were odd shaped (square) and lumpy. Being on Lake Huron I was looking forward to a crispy plate of fish & chips, instead I got an inedible greasy mass with 4 strands of coleslaw.

Right on the sound. Great facilities. Dinner was delicious - we did not try other meals. Staff were friendly. Easy parking. Nice little waterfront walk nearby. Room was comfortable.

I would have liked real milk for coffee and tea. The whole ‘creamer’ thing is normal in north America but not for us. (It would not put me off staying again!)

Absolutely beautiful location! The waterfront views were gorgeous, especially for a sunset walk! Staff were so nice and felt like friends the moment you walked through the door!

It was very cold in the room, which means the air conditioning is working great! But it would have been nice to be able to control the temp or have more extra blankets in the room!

My room was a good size and one window had a lakeview. The room temperature can be adjusted easily. The beds and pillows are comfortable, and medium softness. The room overall feels clean. What I like the most was the location. Great to take a morning walk along the lakeshore. The staff was polite and helpful.

The price is a bit higher though. I will stay here again if the price is lower. In this price range, I might shop again and try other cute newer cottages in the nearby Sauble Beach area.
