We liked the layout with bed and kitchen areas separate. Walk to the pool was all inside which we wouldd consider for travel in foul weather.

In the suit the air heat/condition was not totally operative. We lived with the window open as we were on the second floor. repeated tries did get the unit working later but had it unplugged most of the stay.

Room was clean and reasonably updated, bed was comfortable with extra pillows. Heater/air conditioner was easy to use and worked well and quiet.

Sink in bathroom was cracked (but still usable, just doesn’t look nice), no freezer compartment in mini fridge

This is by far the best hotel in the region. I highly recommend the location, the owner is caring and the staff are fantastic. My room is always spotless, and there is ample parking. I’ve stayed at the 2 other hotels on Queensway prior to finding Travelodge, and I wouldn’t recommend staying at either. The gym is a pretty cool added benefit to staying here as well.

How easy it was to book a room even though I wasn't coming into town until almost midnight

How little the bathroom was and how low the sink and toilet were. Im 5'4 and they were low. My husband is 6"4. All legs. Lol

Very comfortable stay, much as expected at Travelodge in Canada, very friendly and helpful staff.

Lack of free breakfast, but there are plenty of places locally to find breakfast. My room was on the ground floor by the door where there is a bin for stubbing out cigarettes, which as I left my window open at night meant my room filled with cannabis fumes at 1am, but this would be unique to just this particular room.

Clean, comfortable room, convenient location, friendly staff, and functioning amenities. The onsite restaurant was an added bonus for a good breakfast prior to checkout.

The bathroom is old and dated, but it was clean and functional.

No breakfast provided by hotel but tried to get breakfast at restaurant attached to hotel. So very busy, we had no time to wait. But, by seeing how popular it was, we surmise it is worth the wait. Maybe next time.

Some renovations seem to be ongoing in hallways, but the room was fine. Very comfortable,clean and well decorated.

Very comfortable beds. Lovely helpful staff. Had breakfast 2 mornings in the restaurant. Food and service was good.

A bit tired in places especially the corridors.

Location was perfect for our purpose, staff were friendly as always, and it's very good to have The Shire pub and restaurant attached to the hotel.

Not a complaint as much as an observation but the hotel hallway decor is dated.

The hotel has good facilities, including attached gym and restaurant. However, I find it is getting more expensive to stay there, with no obvious reason for the increase in price.
