Big, clean and well maintained - the hostel reminded me of student / athlete residences in French or Italian Alps. Several floors, each with own living room full of books, games and antiques. Clean kitchens, showers and laundry machines. Guests appeared to be a mature crowd on solo or group trips. Waking up to to the view of rolling green hills was an added bonus.

I did not mind it myself but travelers keep in mind the bunks don't have curtains. If you're looking for a capsule style hostel with privacy - this is not it. The bedroom layout is more of a summer camp / barrack style with exposed bunks. I, personally, found it a cool experience.

It is in a historical building that served as a church and school, it feels very unique to stay in rooms that were once occupied by nuns. The process of checking in and out was very smooth and the people working in the establishment genuinely felt friendly. The hotel and its environment is very tranquil and everyone who were currently staying were respectful, it felt like a perfect break from our busy lives. The bistro under the same name had great vibes and affordable prices. It is also in a conveniently walking distance to observe everything this charming town has to offer. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer.

Great location, balconies are nice with great views. Nice big shared kitchen with some board games available. Water and sink directly in the room is very useful. Nice new toilets and showers. Due to unexpected circumstances I asked for check in at midnight and personnel managed it for me. The place has additional bonus places in the building like cafe with gift shop and bistro, plus some book/clothes swap by the reception. Overall very friendly and great atmosphere of the place!

In my tiny room there was a separate nano-room for clothes. I think it would be more practical to have just a wardrobe instead to save space. I missed a hairdryer in the room (was available at the reception) and kettle in the kitchen.

The new building is a great upgrade for the hostel. It has several facilities and it's spacious! Loved the modern bathrooms and showers. Great views as always!

Bit of electrical issues in the kitchen where we had to move things around to use appliances. The heating was tricky to control, freezing when we arrived and then too hot and stayed hot - because they ask not to turn it off entirely, we had to open a window! Also, the staff we spoke to was helpful and very nice, but otherwise staff didn't acknowledge guests much.

communication with the property was excellent. location was excellent, just a short walk to the city center the staff were very nice, friendly & helpful. special mention to Mark, the security guard, who assisted us from the moment we arrived at the property until we entered the building to our assigned accommodation. he made sure that we had a parking spot right across the door to the building. thank you so much Mark you were an angel.

Great hostel. Big communal kitchen and living room space. Bar on the ground floor serving tasty food and craft beer. People of all ages staying there, solo travellers and families. Close to the restaurants in the town centre.

Amazing historical property close to restaurants, coffee shop on site, view of the St Lawrence River from the room, lovely communal kitchen and living room type area. Close to Le Massif ski area. Spa within walking distance

Curtains for the bunk bed. The kitchen area, would benefit from organizing and Hood. However it's also a call for guests themselves to tidy up!!!!!

super proximity to the beach and the Main streets in town. shared bathrooms and shower facilities were very clean!!

shared kitchen appliances could have been better. for example sample a knife sharpener could have been supplied as all knives were dull. stove had burner that didn’t work.

This is a beautiful, charming hostel, very well kept and maintained. I had my own room which was a good size and comfortable. The building itself It has great character , high ceilings, and lots old videos, records and games, plenty of entertainment. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be back.
