Super clean, great amenities.

The loft is a little dark - only has windows in the living room, so no outside light in the bedroom. It is on the ground floor, with garbage bins on the sidewalk where the window is. There was someone going through the garbage around 10:30pm. They could pretty much see into the apartment - this made me uncomfortable. Location is ok.

The apt was spacious, clean and the kitchen/laundry were especially useful for our trip. The location is just a 15 minute walk from the old city.

We reserved a parking space for an extra fee and the lot is small with limited to no security. The lot was full half the time we tried to use it (3/6 times), including our first day. When I called customer service, they said we could use a nearby garage and email them the invoice. There are not many close-by garages and suddenly you're walking through areas that are unsafe due to neighborhood conditions. Because of this, we limited the nights we went out early on.

We liked how spacious and comfortable the apartment was. It was well equipped, too. One bedroom had a door, and the other was separated from the living room by a curtain, which was fine for us. The parking was a 3-minute walk. There were several restaurants and a Metro store nearby. The location was fine for us, although there was an uphill walk to the old town, so it may be a challenge for some. We would stay there again for sure.

We were a bit worried about the comments from others regarding the homeless people around. Which is true, but no one bothered us. The building itself is secure, so we felt safe.

The unit itself was very spacious – two comfortable bedrooms, a large living room, and a roomy bathroom with all the expected facilities. Parking was conveniently located just behind the building, though it did take a little extra driving around the smaller one-way streets to reach it.

The listing mentioned private parking but did not indicate that there would be an additional charge. The surrounding neighborhood, especially near the back of the building by the parking area, didn’t feel very welcoming at times, with groups of people loitering and making it a little uncomfortable.

Les Lofts St-Joseph offers space and style at a competitive price, but comfort and maintenance are lacking. The gritty urban setting may not appeal to everyone. For travellers, especially those used to hotels or who value convenience, this loft is best suited for short stays, travel with close companions, or those familiar with urban living. Our street had lots of really good restaurants both breakfast and dinner. Grocery store 3 minutes away Many different stores for shopping not touristy type stores. Washer and dryer. Locals were prevalent on our street which we liked. Staff was very responsive to our needs. Beautiful kitchen

Had to uber to town but that was because bus drivers were on strike. Quite the walk to town and uphill lots of homeless on our street but they never bothered us. Layout of loft was weird. Bathroom was on opposite side of bedroom. At night would have been nice to have next to bedroom

Really spacey! The roof terrace was a great place for the sunset and having a nice end of the day. The location is really close to the old city to start a sightseeing tour by feet. Various Restaurants in close distance. And also Bus-stop around the corner. The WiFi worked very well and the Loft was very quiet.

The parking lot (extra cost) was behind the building and we did not know, there was a rear entrance to the building, which also allowed access with our doorcode. This should be described better. The two sleeping rooms only had a curtain to the living room. No solid wall with door. That was kind of awkward. (Sleeping noises of our two families)

Very large clean and bright. Laundry and cooking facilities well maintained. Beds very comfortable and blackout blinds for night time. The automated entry system worked perfectly and all email instructions were clear. Good location near the hip St Roche neighbourhood with bars and restaurants. You do have to walk 25 min to get to the old town - fine in summer. There’s a metro supermarket less than 4 min walk as well as restaurants and bars on the street. The thrift shop/soup kitchen next door was shut for holidays during our stay.

It was all good. The wifi did move slowly/drop out for me but my teens weren’t complaining. The venue did start asking for evidence of ID and signed credit card forms in the week before arrival - difficult for us as by then we were travelling and internet access was intermittent

Check in instructions were very clear & arrived in a timely manner. Added bonus was the option to reserve parking ahead of time for our stay. I was not very familiar with the area before our stay, and not having to worry about parking was much appreciated.

Honestly, the beds were pretty terrible. Very thin, noisy mattresses and minimal bedding. There were not any additional blankets or pillows stored in closets. When I did request extra bedding, all that was available were top-sheets, not blankets or pillows.

The interior of the condo was clean, spacious, with good cooking, relaxing and sleeping arrangements. The funkiness of the interior was a big hit with everyone in our party of four. The beds were comfy, and having a full kitchen was fantastic. The bathroom, an important consideration for any stay, was modern, clean, and very functional. The walk to old Quebec was easy and enjoyable. The building was secure. A parking garage was a short walk away and the all day parking was inexpensive. All in all a great place to stay.

The neighbourhood is still a bit rough. Rue St Joseph has great shops, restaurants, and 2 wonderful coffee shops. The streets on either side are considerably less well appointed, much more run down, and frequented by the usual downtown core homelessness, drunken yelling at all hours. On Friday night there was a solid 6 hours of thumping bass that started at 10:30 pm. This did not really detract from our stay but if you are not used to living downtown these could be unpleasant surprises.
