beautiful site and native feel lovely neighborhood with great on-site and neighborhood restaurant staff was very friendly and mostly helpful king bed and view to river and forest ideal lobby and bar area very welcoming

Lousy and uneven room cleaning until we made a "stink." Even tho advertised bathrobes, we only received for last night of 6-day stay. The room, tho very large and well-appointed, could have offered better bathroom vanities, slippers, etc. commensurate with the room rate. Also, the lighting was terrible! Notwithstanding, the staff did an adequate job of listening to our grievances and accommodating us thereon.

Everything! Beautiful hotel, quality detailed design with indigenous artwork everywhere, a walking museum in itself. Directly attached to a small museum celebrating indigenous culture with great guided tours. Beautiful gardens, located by the riverside- you can hear the water from your room! We have stayed a number of times (and will again!) in the new section in Deluxe King Rm, very comfortable beds, great shower & bathroom & views on the garden & river. Restaurant on site is very nice, great breakfast choices. Dinner menus are interesting with indigenous flavours. Location was great for us visiting friends living nearby, but you definitely need a car for transport.

Housekeeping generally was excellent, but one time there was an old lunch forgotten in the mini-fridge.

I love the hotel, museum and grounds. Would like to spend some more time there. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated.

The beds are too soft and sag in the middle. Replacing the mattress would be a good idea. Some fixtures were broken in our room during our first stay. Staff are lovely but not very efficient, we tried to get a cart for our luggage but we waited a bit too long. Finally, the food at the restaurant is excellent but service is slow and spotty, and staff were very stretched! I made a reservation for dinner at eight, didn't get anything to eat until 8:30 and finished dinner at 10:00.

I really liked the beds. Everything was so comfortable and the hotel itself was gorgeous. Even though it was an over night stay.. I plan on staying there for the weekend sometime this year.

We ate in the restaurant for Supper because we were starving and didn't want to leave the hotel to go out and eat. Even though the food was delicious. It took close to 3 hours to get our steaks we ordered, granted, we ordered an appetizer but the wait was crazy.

Gorgeous and unique stay. It was more than a stay, it was an experience. The Huron-Wendat culture is infused the moment you enter the property through the architecture, amazing restaurant, decor, an museum. Everything was so clean. I loved being able to walk outside our back sliding window to sit by the woods. The trail around the hotel near the river was also a bonus. One of my favorite parts of our visit to the Quebec City area.

Beautiful, picturesque hotel. Very well decorated, quiet and well maintained.

Lots to do, but all with a cost. For guests who stay and dine at the hotel, perhaps offer complimentary access to the museum area. As recommended, we made reservations to the restaurant and planned around the timing. Unfortunately, those planning efforts didn’t matter as we ended up taking three hours for the dining experience. If we would have reserved an activity in the evening, we would have missed it. From what we understand, a large number of unexpected guests arrived at the restaurant and they got served immediately, leaving hotel guests with reservations left to wait for their food and ruined what could have been an amazing experience.

Beautiful view of river, lobby and room were well decorated, loved visiting the museum & longhouse on-site, very clean room, enjoyed Myths & Legends activity.

In room TV only had local channels with no on-demand movies, bathroom beautifully decorated but toilet wobbled when sitting on it, sheets were scratchy (noticeably low thread count) & bed very firm (which I did not find comfortable), lacking bedside tables for both sides, had to put my drink and glasses on floor. Outdoor construction appears to be ongoing which was not ideal. There was no option for casual eating onsite, even a canteen in the lobby with drinks and snacks for purchase would have been helpful. (We did not eat at onsite restaurant). Had to drive into town for casual restaurant & to buy snacks & drinks.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful!! My family and I stayed for 5 days. We loved everything about the hotel, cozy atmosphere and beautiful walking trails all around were a big bonus for us.

That I couldn’t stay longer!! The museum was closed but we knew that before going. That just means we have to visit again. Maybe longer next time 😁

This is one of the most delightful hotel and restaurant experiences that I have ever had in North America. All of the rooms have a lovely view of the forest and the small creek behind the hotel. I especially enjoyed seeing the changing colors of the Red Maple leaves off the hotel back veranda. The room was spotless and the bedding was clean and comfortable. I had breakfast on both mornings that I was there -- unfortunately, I was unable to try the restaurant for lunch or dinner since I was out on full day trips -- the Train de Charlevoix was a delightful experience -- and did not return to the hotel until late. The breakfast, although not included in the room rate, is worth the price -- tasty and beautifully prepared. I had the smoked salmon breakfast one morning and the pancakes with wild berries on the second morning. Stay for the week and try all of the options! The onsite museum and longhouse is fantastic. The highlight of my visit was seeing the Onhwa Lumina cultural light show down the road from the inn. This was a highlight of my recent visit to Canada. An incredibly emotional and spiritual journey with light and sound. I can imagine people driving up -- or taking the train - from Montreal, Toronto, and Ottawa for a long weekend. Why stay in crowded and often overpriced Quebec City when this inn is available at such a reasonable price? The staff was really friendly and helpful.

A premiere model of Indigenous-led tourism showcasing living, evolving culture in a positive light that blends authenticity and roots with contemporary aesthetics and sensibilities for a truly first class experience. Bravo.
