This place was something else. I am almost emotional remembering the ‘care’ we received at Jardin Atacama. It is more than just a clean, comfortable and well located abode. The staff are kind, helpful and just the loveliest kind of humans you wish you met everywhere but very often don’t. My sincerest thanks to the wonderfully generous gentleman who checked us in and helped us every step of the way. Gratitude also to other reception staff especially the person who made calls on our behalf to help us manage our flight back. Thanks to the lovely, ever smiling cleaning staff that would always make us feel so welcome. Last but not the least, thanks to dearest Pamela, a person I will never forget. From the tea she’d make us at night to her warm hugs - it was like being home!! Thank you, everyone. You really are a lovely bunch and if we do return you know we are only ever staying at Jardin.

Can be slightly noisy at night but the fan cancels external sounds. We slept well overall.

The hotel is perfect for shorter or longer stays in San Pedro. Roberto and the staff are welcoming, friendly, available, and take care of you in many small and big ways! The hotel offers free unlimited filtered water (which you will NEED in San Pedro, you will save a lot of money and plastic!), coffee and tea. They offer you small rags to clean your shoes from the dust, and even lend you towels for excursions (super useful for some excursions, so one can pack less!). They offer early breakfast to go for the days in which the excursions begin early, and they were super flexible with check out. I stayed at the hotel 3 hours past my check out time, they stored my luggage and I just worked and relaxed in the common areas. The rooms are small, but for me travelling solo that wasn’t a problem. And it’s compensated by the common spaces: the courtyard and pool area is perfect for relaxing, and the breakfast room great for working or spending time playing a board game. Breakfast was excellent and they accommodated my lactose intolerance. The ladies making breakfast are very sweet and always with a smile! Location is also perfect, right in the center of san Pedro, with tons of restaurants and shops within a few minutes walking. Everything was great and I am very glad I stayed there!

I loved so many things about this hotel. To start with, the location is excellent. It is in the center of San Pedro de Atacama but not on the busiest street, making it a bit secluded, so it is quiet and calm in the rooms and in the garden. We stayed in winter, and the heating was on from 6 pm until early morning, so we never felt cold in the room. The common areas and the garden are very nice and well-kept. The WiFi worked very well. The room size was good for two people with two large pieces of luggage; it didn’t feel cramped, and the bed was very comfortable. Like many travelers, we appreciated the filtered water and the 24-hour coffee! The attention from the staff is exceptional. They also helped us organize the transfer to and from Calama Airport. Colorful property steps from the main street. Rooms are bright and clean, and the staff offers extra towels if you’re planning to visit the thermal baths or other sights where swimming is an option. Breakfast is basic but solid, and it was nice having an electric grill for turning your plain ham-and-cheese sammy into a warm and crispy grilled cheese. And if your tour is scheduled to depart before the 7-10 breakfast hours, just let them know the night before and they’ll pack you a modest breakfast to go.

I’m petite and always, always cold, so I chose this hotel specifically because the listing said the rooms were heated. This was technically true, but the heating is centrally controlled and only turned on at 9 PM each night. By that time the room was so cold it never warmed up before I went to sleep, so I shivered every night while getting ready for bed and certainly couldn’t sit and enjoy a book. Also, there wasn’t anywhere to put my suitcase except the bed or the floor next to it, so I opened it on the floor. That was fine, except the (very nice and efficient) cleaning crew moved my things every day to make the bed.

The pool wash clean and great for cooling off on hot days. It is close to everything you need but not noisy at night. The staff were nice. Breakfast had fresh fruit salad every day. There are shady places to sit during the day inside and out.

Room was small with fan but no aircon (which I think is usual here) so room got hot during the day. At night it cooled down if you opened windows on both sides of the room including to the walk way between rooms.

The rooms were very clean. The sand from the desert, easily brought in with your shoes and especially.with hiking boots, is swept and mopped from your floor daily! Great esthetic. Public area also very nice. Outdoor sitting spaces not depicted in lead photo as there now is an arbor or mature trees, maybe both?! WiFi is solid, tho no zoom/team meetings attempted. The kitchen and cleaning staff were consistently welcoming and kind. The front desk staff is not as consistent in the above manner. The room we had was of excellent value and just a smidge too small for ease of movement. One def. had to use public spaces to sit in a chair.

The hotel was great! Very close to Caracoles (main street). The rooms were confortable and had everything we needed, including a safebox. The pool and external area were great and cozy. Breakfast was great and the kitchen staff was amazing, super friendly. I really liked that the hotel had water filters throughout the hotel, this reduces plastics bottles and having to buy water all the time (I drink a lot of water, and even more in the dry weather of the desert). The staff of the hotel (Elizabete and Carlos) were amazing - they went above and beyond and were very friendly. All in all, would definitely return and loved Hotel Jardin Atacama.

This is a calming, serene, delightfully well kept and welcoming hotel. The patio with the pool and ample seating for the less than 20 rooms was exceptional. The staff were attentive and helpful. The breakfast was a highlight for sure - eggs scrambled or fried to order, yogurt and healthy fixings, mini panini press, coffee, fresh juice. All made by very kind staff members. The area felt safe, yet it is truly steps away from the mains stores and action. Terrific value for money. Highly recommend! If you can choose the "suite" rooms, you will likely directly open your door to the garden terrace and pool area. A very nice touch was the machine with ultra purified hot and cold water, available 24/7!

The bathroom is a bit small, just note this. Water is precious here in the desert so this makes complete sense.

The staff were so lovely. I got a bad cold and they made a nice tea and had it in a thermal for me. The room was nice and clean with modern bathroom. The pool area was really nice and relaxing.

The heating is controlled by management and only comes on at certain times. If you want to chill in your room during the day it is FREEZING. Maybe allow individual room heating

- Breakfast was incredible. Delicious bread, eggs, juice, and baked goods, with slight variations each day. - Location was very convenient to Caracoles street. It felt a bit too touristy after a while but it was super convenient to be close to many restaurants, shops, etc. - Filtered water (chilled, ambient, hot) was available for guests - this saved us quite a few bottles! Don't like plastic waste and also most bottled water sold isn't chilled so it was great to have this option. - There was parking on-site for our rental car -- note to reach out ahead of time and confirm that there's space. - The garden space and pool area was lovely

Our room was very small - we knew this going in though so weren't too concerned by it.
