Exceptional hotel. Staff were fantastic. Food was excellent although choice could be limited but quality was exceptional. A very well run hotel. Setting was so scenic. Rooms were spacious with large bathrooms and decent showers. Our first room had two, one inside and one out. The tours were superb and well organised. I'd recommend these rather than straying out and trying to go cheaper in the town. The guides were all local and every one was well trained on how to take iphone pictures! Breakfast buffet was superb too. Once again the staff were excellent.

We stayed an extra two nights and had to move to the last available room, No.10 and booked again through Booking.com. This is right next to the plant room for heating, A/C and it was constant noise. They turned it off on our second night but I'm not convinced this room is really useable for anybody. A couple of good granola options at breakfast would be welcome. Likewise a gym. Maybe put it in Room 10!

Fundamentally, this hotel wins for the excursions. The excursions are run by an almost flawlessly slick, organised, professional, informed, fascinating, talented group of tour guides and drivers. They will take you to out of this world landscapes, tell you the history, bring alive the stars, be awake at 4:30am with smiles ready to take you to the high points of the mountains. Cook you breakfast, lunch, tell you stories of the local cultures and give you glimpses of local life through their own lived experiences. They will take you on wild adventures and bring you back in one piece.. they will **hands down** make your time in the Atacama Desert unforgettable.

The hotel itself doesn't hit 10/10 in my opinion as the service *in* the hotel doesn't match the price point. It is not on par with hotels around the world charging similar rates. Everyone is generally lovely and keen to help, it just felt disorganised. New GM is very keen to get feedback which was great, I would suggest the hotel continue to invest in customer service training for everyone in the team; upgrade the *not great* WiFi and look at what makes the excursions and the spa so awesome and bring that into the rest of the hotel! So overall 8/10 as there were some really stand out people in the hotel (thank you), the housekeeping and spa teams were great and the expeditions were simply exceptional.

Nothing really

Absolutely gorgeous place, wonderful setting and the landscaping was so fitting. There were several smaller pools giving you privacy as well as a lovely hot whirl pool, sauna and hammam that you could pre-book for your private enjoyment. We also went on a couple of excursions which were brilliant, especially the geyser tour with breakfast in the desert. Housekeeping and laundry service were outstanding. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were not overbig but very tastefully appointed. We loved the outside lounging area with open fire and had dinner there every evening. Food and drinks were delicious.

Some admin details could be improved. Breakfast service could be a little speedier. No proper storage space in the room. No sign posting to get to the hotel which delayed us arriving.

Fabulous hotel, among the best and most unique places we have visited. The location is hands down astonishing, set up in an oasis in the middle of the driest most spectacular scenery. The welcome ice tea drink and relaxed personalised check in was up there with Asian luxury hotel standards. The rooms were kept impeccably clean, very subtly tidied twice a day, never disturbing us whilst in the room. All of the rooms have a unique view onto the garden and mountains, very quiet and private. As mentioned in most reviews, the trips to the main sights were fantastically organised by the hotel’s guides and well worth joining (would definitely consider the all inclusive package). We appreciated the small throughtful details like trail nut mix, chocolates and water refills available in the lobby for guests to pack for long trips in the Atacama. Breakfast choice was excellent, including fruit and vegetable choices, and truly felt like a plentiful oasis. A special mention to the staff led by Mrs Rosario, who truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and enjoy our stay to the fullest. Truly fantastic stay

Hard to find negatives. Perhaps the air conditioning could be upgraded to be slightly less noisy.

I don't usually leave reviews but I really have to say about the staff and service we had at Nayara. It was spectacular, sensational, wonderful, incredible. We were pampered throughout our stay and the staff did everything they could to make us comfortable and happy. They were very polite, friendly, kind and very welcoming. Thank you so much for the great time we had with you!

Beautiful property, excellent food and great excursions. The staff are incredibly helpful. A large number of excursions catering to all ages and abilities to explore the wonders of the Atacama desert. The guides are experienced and knowledgeable, keeping all adventurers safe and happy. Every meal at the property was exceptional! The kids enjoyed feeding the llamas on the property, as well as the multiple pools. Excellent spa services.

Nothing, it was perfect!

Amazing property located a bit out of San Pedro, which allows a great view of the night sky. Service was outstanding. All the staff went above and beyond to help, and I’d like to give a thanks to Francia, Tamara, Diego and Ricardo for taking the time to make the stay even better. The room was comfortable with high quality amenities.

There is no room service for breakfast - I feel that paying this much for a resort, they should be able to offer room service. The breakfast ends early at 10am, and if you miss it, lunch is not until 1

Absolutely stunning hotel with incredible views, restaurant, bars and pools. The perfect place to relax after amazing tours arranged by the hotel. Not cheap but good value considering the quality of everything you get. The staff also couldn’t be more helpful making sure your stay is perfect arranging for tours, dinners, trips into town….nothing is too much trouble. A stay to remember!
